78 Are you the president of this country?

Xin Mei reached home with a guilty expression on her face. She knew she had offended Su Yuchen by rejecting him. Probably no one had rejected him like the way she did. Why didn't she state her decision clearly to him?

Xin Mei was cursing herself. Her mood was off and she didn't know if Su Yuchen would talk with her again or not. If her father lost this golden chance of getting investment due to her silly mistake then she would never be able to forgive herself.

When Xin Mei entered in the house, somewhere she was expecting that Su Yuchen had already called her parents, telling them about her rejection but what she didn't expect was their happy faces.

"Xiao Mei, Xiao Mei, Xiao Mei, You are an angel."

Xin Yan rushed toward her he wrapped his arms around her waist and hosted her up in the air. He twirled with her. Happiness was visible on his face.

"Oh my god Xin Mei, how can you be so lucky to have a man like Su Yuchen to be your husband? You are really lucky that Su Yuchen is the grandson of grandma's friend. He is so good. Marrying him will change your life. Now I know why you agreed to marry him."

"Agree?" Xin Mei frowned in confusion. When did she agree? Didn't she nearly rejected him just now?

"Yes, didn't you agree to marry him?" Xin Yan frowned. "Isn't it why he had already invested in our business? He visited us and got a contract signed."

Xin Mei wasn't getting anything. Did Su Yuchen invest in her father's business? She was mulling with confusion when her father walked toward her and placed his hand over her shoulder.

"Xiao Mei, you are really lucky to have him as your prospective groom. In the morning, Su Yuchen came to meet me. He had a meeting with us and instead of giving us the money as a loan, he decided to make us a partner of Su Corporation. Now, he will not only help us with money in completing our projects but he wants us to complete other construction projects for him."

"You know, the government is planning a big construction project. Many big to small companies are taking part in it. And Su Yuchen wants us to take part in it. He has given us all the freedom to quote the quotation. He had insured us from now on we will not be facing any money related problem."

There was a huge relief on the face of Xin Jin. He placed his hand on the head of Xin Mei and smiled warmly.

"Princess, after meeting Su Yuchen. I could say he is a gem. He is a perfect man for you. We are lucky that aunt Bai approached us with this marriage deal. Su Yuchen will always keep you happy."

Xin Mei smiled at her father but didn't say him a thing. Her mind was having a lot of thoughts. Had Su Yuchen already invested in her business, without even listening to her decision?

Her respect for that man increased by many folds. She felt proud that she knew this man. At that moment, she decided to visit his office the next day with a thank you gift.

Next day, when Xin Mei woke up, her father and brother had already left for their office. They wanted to work off their ass in proposing the government project they wanted to stand strong and proud in the eyes of Su Yuchen.

Not only that, they had to work hard to bring back their company to its original working position. They had to focus on the completion of their current projects.

After freshening up, Xin Mei reached the kitchen where she prepared lunch for Su Yuchen with her own hands.

"Mother, he is helping father and gege a lot. I think he deserves a thank you gift from us." She informed her mother.

Once the lunch was ready, she packed it in a lunch box. Then she made her way toward the Su Corporation. It was very famous in the city so it didn't take Xin Mei much time to reach there.

She directly walked toward receptionist and requested her about meeting with Su Yuchen.

"Excuse me I want to meet Su Yuchen."

The receptionist looked at Xin Mei from up and down before scowling when she saw the mask on her face. Xin Mei was wearing a mask to hide her identity. She guessed, anyone could easily identify her at Su Corporation.

"Do you have any appointment?" reception asked uninterestedly.

"No, I don't have one. But if you tell him I am here then he will allow me in his office."

"Are you the president of this country that our boss will allow you in his office?" the receptionist mocked.

"No, I am not president but I am his friend. He knows me." Xin Mei protested.

"If you are his friend then join the girls who are sitting on the couch behind you." Receptionist pointed toward the couch where already many girls were sitting. "If boss really knows you then he will not ignore you like others. Now please excuse me."

Receptionist completely ignored Xin Mei and started to do her work on computer. Xin Mei tried to persuade her to let her meet Su Yuchen but she didn't bug. Later, the receptionist got a call and Xin Mei didn't find it in herself to disturb her.

"What should I do now? That receptionist will not let me in without an appointment and that Su Yuchen isn't picking up my call. If I don't meet him soon then my food will become spoiled."

Xin Mei looked at the lunch box in her hand with a helpless expression. While standing a little far from reception, she saw a lot of girls who came to meet Su Yuchen but every one of them was shooed away by the receptionist.

Xin Mei was thinking of a way to meet Su Yuchen when her eyes fall on Huang Chu. She ran toward him and caught his arm.

"Mr. Assistant, can you help me in meeting Su Yuchen?"

Huang Chu looked at the girl in a mask with a frown in between his brows. Before he could rebuke her, Xin Mei slightly removed her mask and showed him her face.

"I am Xin Mei, you know me right?"

"Miss Xin." Huang Chu nodded his head. "What are you doing here?"

"As I told you, I am here to meet Su Yuchen. But I didn't have an appointment and the receptionist wouldn't let me in without one. Can you take me to him?"

Hung Chu looked at her and didn't know what to do. From last day, from the time his boss had returned after meeting her, he was ragging with anger. He was so angry that he had fired seven staff members within one day.

Everyone was terrified of his anger and was doing their work without any loud noise or mistake. He got scolded by Su Yuchen twice from the morning.

Huang Chu looked at Xin Mei and thought maybe she was the one to calm down the tornado. He didn't know what the girl had done to make his boss angry, but only she could make him calm now.

Huang Chu decided to take this gamble and spoke to Xin Mei, "Follow me, Miss Xin. I will take you to his office."

Xin Mei followed behind Huang Chu who took her to the office of Su Yuchen in a private elevator. All this while, he was praying to god that his boss wouldn't eat Xin Mei up like an angry lion.
