9 No Clues

Henry Joe is ashamed to admit that after using all the resources he got, he still had no clue about the instigator behind the accident involving Edmund Brown.

Even though he found nothing, he still needs to report to the boss. Henry Joe cleared his throat and started, " Boss... the thing is... ". Edmund saw how Henry is hesitating to speak and found it odd.

Edmund Brown is not one of the typical CEOs who used to be domineering and aloof. In fact, he is very friendly and humble that all the employees from low-level workers to high-level managers are very fond of him.

Everyone who knows about him will automatically know about his noble looks, intelligence, well mannered, elite education and background, achievements etc. In those 2 years of his journey to the top position and the 5 years as CEO in Brown industries, everyone witnessed his capabilities and decision-making skills. He is friendly yet fair-minded so he loved, supported, respected and favoured by all of them in their own ways.

Based on his personality no one needs to fear or hesitate to speak in front of him regardless of his position as a CEO or heir of Brown industries. So, of course, it will be odd to Edmund when Henry is hesitating to speak.

" What is it, Joe? " Edmund probed.

From Henry's point of view, this was the first time he ever failed to get anything he needed. The shock was apparent and he himself feels like useless. This made him hesitant.

" All the surveillance footage wiped out during the time of the accident. How much efforts we put into retrieve that footage still we can't get it. Also the truck, it can't be traced where it came from and where it went like it never existed. "

Henry: " Boss, the night of the accident I received a call from a lady saying that you were admitted into this hospital. Edmund pushed all of those silly thoughts into the back of his head. He took Joe's phone into his hand and started watching the video.

In that video, a 30-year-old man came running - who is none other than Henry Joe - and halted in front of two ladies whose clothes were covered in blood stains.
