6 Chapter 6: Emerald Forest, Pt. 1
I was walking, walking, walking and walking until I realised I had been walking in circles for at a minute, until I decided to just run straight forwards, that way I'd find people or even at least some Grimm to kill quickly. But as I run, I began to have a weird feeling about the Emerald Forest, it felt so familiar when I ran through it all, it's like I've already ran through here but I haven't even gone through here before, but I dropped the feeling for a while and decided to find Ruby or even Yang. I started to hear Ruby & Weiss yelling at each other, that meant they made first eye contact, which left Yang or even Blake. But I had to find someone soon, but Sarah told that I should go and find a chest piece. So I did as she said, I started to run and run forwards, till I heard a growl in the bushes and that meant Grimm were near by, stopped dead in my tracks to look at my souroundings, but Sarah interrupted me.
Sarah: Lucas, what are you doing!?!
Lucas: Shhhhh! Listen to the wind and bushes
Sarah: .....
Sarah stayed silent while we listened to the quietness around, it was a bit too quiet for us, something was definitely wrong, a growl then came from a bush and it started to rattle like crazy. Now is the part where I'd grab my assault rifle. Sarah starts to warn me about something coming from behind.
Sarah: Lucas, somethings trying to sneak up on us
I then looked back and a Grimm alike Bear came charging at me full speed, I start to at it and then jumped on top of it, putting my shooting my bullets into it's thick fur-coat, the Grimm finally died from half a clip of my assault rifle, I started take a breather until I heard more coming my way. I knew this going to be a long day but this long, come on man, can't Ozpin gives us a break?
Lucas: How many Grimm are there!?!
*Yang Prov*
Yang: Hellooooo, Is anyone out there? Hellooooo? I'm getting bored here!
Suddenly some bushes started to move, I turned around to see where sound was coming from and said.
Yang: Is someone there?
I walk over to the bush were the sound of rustling was coming from, I open the bushes to see if it was Ruby but.....
Yang: Ruby is that you?
Grimm: *growling*
Yang: Nope *thinking* nope definitely not Ruby!
I then dodged the Grimm's attack and back flipped away from it and landed on two, suddenly a second one comes out of the bushes to abuse me, but too bad for them, I already knew that it was coming. I then dodged that one to and then started to throw punches at them both, the first one I gave it a blow to the top of it's head and the second one a punched in the gut and throw it into a tree.
Yang: *sigh* You guys wouldn't happen to have seen a girl in a red hood would you?
Both Grimm: *growling*
Yang: Could just say no
I then started to dodge their sharp claws as they kept trying to stab me with them, but they didn't lay a paw on, I then looked at the two and said.
Yang: Geez you two couldn't hit the board side of a ba-
I stopped talking saw a piece of my glorious hair fall onto the ground, I started to get angry and by angry, I mean I was pissed at the two.
Yang: *sighs* You....
Both Grimm: *gruntle confused*
Yang: You monster!
I then punched the one on the left multiple times to the point it started to wiper for help, I didn't stop throwing punches at the Grimm, I kept going until I decided to throw him across the forest and making every tree in it's path collapse, the last came running to me, then stopped and stood tall roaring at me.
Yang: What you want some too?
The Grimm growls at me as it is about swipe its hand across me, but is stop by something hitting him on the back of it's head, it then fell to it's on the ground where Blake has a wip with an attachment knife that rips anything apart, she then pulled it out and stuck her wip on her hip. She then smiles at me.
Yang: I could have taken him
Now that the both of us are teammates, we then started to run for the ruins.
(meanwhile with Weiss)
*Weiss Prov*
These things just kept coming and coming till they sourounded me. They had me cornered but I knew I had to focus on the task at hand.
Weiss: *thinking* Remember your training Weiss. Head up, shoulders back, right foot forward, not that forward! Slow your breathing, wait for the right time to strike and.... now!
I dashed forward and was about to attack that Grimm, until miss dumbo showed up and kill it before I could even get a chance.
Ruby: Gotcha!
Ruby was still in my range so I fire my flame at tree, I miss the idiot. But then we both bumped into each other which pissed me off and it pissed off Ruby as well.
Ruby: Hey, watch it bitch!
Weiss: Excuse me, you attacked out of turn. I could have killed you
Ruby: You'll have to try a lot harder then that
As me and Ruby went back to back the Grimm sourounded us like a pack of wild-dogs or something, but then I realised the fire that I caused was starting to spreading and spreading fast. I then grabbed Ruby's and said.
Weiss: We have to go!
We then ran away from the danger onto a hill that we ran on top of we had ran out of air while ran away from the Grimm and the fire, but I wasn't done playing nice with that stupid bitch who calls herself Ruby!.
Ruby: What was that? That should have been easy!
Weiss: Well perhaps if you had exercised even the slightest amount of caution with the placement of your strikes, I wouldnt have set the forest on fire!
Ruby: *scoffs* what's that supposed to mean!?!
Weiss: Im just surprised that someone who talked so much would communicate so little during an encounter!
Ruby: Well I'm sorry that you need my help to win fights, I'm fine just on my own!
Weiss: Well congratulations on being the strongest child to sneak your way into Beacon, bravo
Ruby then cuts down a tree with her Scythe and then puts it back on her. But then I decided to intimidate her a little bit about our robot friend.
Weiss: Oh yeah, have to say that robot guy bastard, he's not gonna make it in the exams today *evil smirk*
Ruby: You take that back about Lucas!
(Now back to our hero, who is currently killing Grimm as I speak.)
*Lucas Prov*
As I sliced off the last Grimms head clean off, I put my sword away and started to breathe in and out in and out, until I heard a familiar ship hovering above the forest, it past me very quickly, so I did what any other Spartan would do. I follow the sound, I started to run through the forest and as I did, I started to see light, so I slowed down for a second and then my eyes widened. The Covenant had set up shop in the Emerald Forest, it was a heavily fortified base.
Sarah: Holy shit
Lucas: How the fuck... did the Covenant set up so fucking quickly
Sarah: I don't know but we have to keep quiet until we get back to Beacon and speak to Ozpin about the situation at hand
Lucas: Agreed... take a photo
Sarah: Already have
Lucas: Alright let's get moving!
As I looked at the Covenant base one last time, I then ran into the forest so no Covenant knew I was in the area. As ran I started to see a temple up ahead of me, it meant I was heading the right direction and that also meant that soon I'd see everyone who is in the exams.
