28 Getting closer

"I really feel so bad .I don't even get time with you these days Ronn ." Tara said over phone . It was almost 9.00 at night and they were calling each other after few days gap . Ronn Sighed ."I have told you .Things change . You'll have a boyfriend soon ." Ronn said in a sad tone . "How do you know he'll propose ? Why are you so sure about it ? I don't understand " . Tara said confused. "I'm a boy .I have seen Karthik's behaviour with you . Each and every single look was of love ." Ronn said deeply taking a breath . Tara blushed and asked "Really ? I have felt like he loves me .But I am not sure ." She said staring at the ceiling .

"You girls can't really understand a person loveing you deeply ." Ronn said mockingly .

"Nothing like that stupid .We do understand .I told you , I have felt it but just not sure ." She said . "I was talking about my feelings ." He said . "Don't even think Ella will love you back ." Tara said . Ronn was but thinking about Tara . "How could she feel well of your love when she have an ocean of love with her ?" His heart asked him . "Hey , I didn't mention her name to make you sad Ronn .I was just saying ." Tara said in a sorry tone .

"It's okay .I didn't felt it bad ." Ronn smiled .

Tara spoke continuously about Karthik , her feelings for him and her future plans if Karthik propose her . She even named her future son .

"You have come a far way Tara .Don't you think ?" Ronn was sitting there listening to all her lectures about her plans and he was heart broken . Tara couldn't read emotions of the person sitting behind the phone . She still believed that it was her Old Ronn .She didn't knew his emotions had changed . But Ronn couldn't stop her from telling stories , seeing how happy she was telling about Karthik and herself . He listened everything with a broken heart and teary eyes but still keeping his voice calm . "Hey , I think I should leave now .It's dinner time .Karthik's family is also coming .I should leave now . " Tara said .

"Huh ! Okay .. Okay Tara .. enjoy yourself .Take care dear ." Ronn said stammering .

"Hey , don't forget to come for my post B'day party . It's only on Bday I'll be busy . Later I'll be free . let's get together like old days and chill Ronn ." Tara said in a cheerful voice . Ronn smiled a fake smile . He really wanted to meet Tara but he feared not letting her go if he met her . Then Tara went downstairs excitingly for the Dinner with Karthik . It was soon going to be her B'day . Ronn thought .

I should have not let you get close to Karthik .I really really envy him now .He has everything that I don't have . He's handsome rich and a girl's dream .But he fell for you .Why in the hell did he fell for you ? I wish I should have never let you go to Banglore . You should have never met him .I really really feel so sad for loosing you Tara ... please don't go .. I beg you Tara . I swear .. I have never felt this pain .. never before .. never even when I loved Ella . I never got sooo despair and frustrated when I saw her with some boy .But I can't bear it when it's you Tara .. I really want you .I can't promise you castle or money , but I can always give you all my Love Tara ... I can give you my whole life .. please please Accept me Tara .. I love you . You are the most amazing person I have ever met in my whole life .Pure soul like my mother . No wonder he fell for you .No wonder you fell for him .What do I have ? I don't know .Like Ella said , I am ... I am Ugly .. I will look like an Oreo biscuit for your vanilla cream . I don't know if colour matters for you . But I feel I am so late to confess my love ... " Ronn said hiding his face deep under his pillow . He was trying to sleep but he couldn't . He felt like he was going to loose someone important in life ; Forever . One person he always had with him but he never noticed . Tara's smiling face was tearing his heart even more .Her giggles filled his room and all the memories with her made him suffocate and he felt tears rolling down his cheek .He was helplessly watching his Angel go . He wanted her to stay , wanted her to stay with him forever .But he had no option but to watch her go. He felt his whole life meaning less .He found it difficult to live without her .

"Have little more soup dear ." Tara's mom insisted Karthik , who was sitting next to Tara for dinner ."I am full aunty .But I should say , you cook very delicious food ." He said sipping soup from his bowl with a spoon .Tara couldn't take her eyes off him most the times .His brownish hair fell over his eyes from two corner and she felt like fixing it for him .Kiran was sitting with his mom and was staring at Tara and Karthik most of the times .

"You make a cute couple together ." Kiran said looking at them . Tara suddenly felt her heart numb and shocked . Karthik stopped having his food and glared at him surprised .

She wondered what the others might say .She expected Kiran to get scold . But his mom supported Kiran .

"This boy is stupid sometimes but today , he have said a right thing .I too have felt it that way ." His mother said setting her plate .

"So not just us , you too feel so ?" Tara's mom said giggling .Karthik and Tara looked at each other not knowing what's happening .

"Don't you think so ? " Kiran asked Karthik with a crooked smile . Karthik fell silent and got nervous .His face blushed . He was trying hard not to show it . Tara came for his rescue .

"Well Kiran , Do you know Kriti from your school? She was wondering if we could go for her B'day party ." she said with a cunning smile .Kiran sat there shocked . Karthik didn't know what's happening but he noticed Kiran fell for Tara's tricks .'I was afraid of parents .Now as even they agree us to be cute couple , I feel my job is half done .' Tara said in mind .'I was wondering how I could express my feelings to everyone and how they'll take it .I think my job is half done .' Karthik said in mind .Both of them stared at each other and smiled .They all laughed . It was a happy dinner night for both of them .

"You'll tell mom right ?" Tara asked Kiran pinching his ears . "Ouch ! that hurts .Will you pinch me like this even after your marriage with my bro is done ? Then I'll kick you out of my house ." Kiran said rubbing his ears in pain . "I'll think about marriage first . hum .You idiot ." Tara said knocking his head .

"You told about Kriti ." Kiran complained .

"Well .Did I have a choice actually ?" Tara asked raising her eyebrows . Kiran giggled .

"Ha .. ha .. so funny ." Tara said knocking his head even harder this time .

"You didn't even consider me ill " Kiran said in a complaint tone .

"Then behave like an ill person first . Then I'll think about treating you as one ." Tara said . Then both of them laughed hard .
