2 Sound of the war!

The Queen placed her right hand on the large wooden table as she was tapping on it rhythmically. Her long brown hair floated around her with the same blue eyes and smooth skin and pink lips.

She wore a long violet gown with the sign of house Barren on its back, a figure of a girl with a crown on her hand. She was lucky to be accepted by the house of Barren, pure royal blood, and true heirs to the throne.

The seven boys of the last queen sat all around the table while Robert's seat was still empty. A vast chandelier was shining gracefully on her pale face as she was squeezing her fingers into her palms, curving her lip into a line trying to avoid the glare from everyone around her.

She felt butterflies flying around her belly since she was in this place, she never felt Laura's absence.

She was like a daughter who Laura never had, that's why Brenner hated her from all of his heart. Everyone was unhappy at the new queen, knowing she wouldn't survive the war.

And she would let them all die.

As Arthur got in with substantial strides onto the table, everyone stood up for the 28-year-old King. Due to the tradition of house Barren, only daughters were eligible to rule, so Arthur, as Laura's son, married Sharon to hold the bloodline pure.

He was kinder than his other brothers, without greed for power or the throne. In love with his wife, he was a little bit fat with a light brown beard and slightly red hair, with the usual smile on his face.

He pointed at everyone to let them sit, then Lifted his wife's hand to place a gentle kiss on it, noticing some scars on her palm, he raised an eyebrow reproachfully making her blush.

Arthur cleared his throat and commanded "I need you to listen to Sharon and take her as your queen. It was mine and my mother's will. I'm sure no one dares to refuse Laura's intention."

Brenner gasped as he shook his head. Brishen smirked, opened his mouth to protest but faced Arthur's glare, so stopped talking.

Sharon pulled herself together, gazing at her husband innocently as she was trying to act gracefully, she turned her head to the boys and consolers.

"We are here to discuss the revenge for our queen," Sharon said while everyone was murmuring, forcing her to raise her voice and speak firmly. " The other houses are fighting by our side to beat the demons of the north, and show them what will happen to anyone who messes with us! Demons should stay at their side of the border. And forbidden to ride into our side." After her speech, everyone was looking at her with mockery expression.

For a moment of despair and silence, there was no reaction from anyone until Arthur raised his goblet of wine to cheer for her. Others raised their goblets as well, mirroring the King and shouted Sharon's name. Eventually, their voice filled the console hall making every glasses shiver.

At the end of the hallway portrait of Laura was smiling at the choice she had made with setting Sharon as her heir.

...

On the battlefield, each house camped in both sides of the house Barren camp, the queen wore a silver armor with the sign of house barren on her chest and her lap, her bow was on her back, and a golden sword was hanging from her belt.

Arthur, with red armor and a silver sword, stood in front of her gazing into her beautiful eyes. He reached out to stroke her sharp and confident face, no sign of the baby he found years ago. She was a developed woman now with every feature of a beautiful and alluring woman.

Arthur held her face between both hands, ignoring the soldiers around them.

"Are you sure?" Arthur asked worriedly.

Sharon nodded as she raised her hands to squeezed his wrists. "I am when it comes to defending Laura's honor. Being pregnant is not a problem." She reassured him with a smile.

With that, she gleamed at her belly, there wasn't any signs yet of her pregnancy. Her stomach was slender as always. Arthur didn't dare to quarrel with the queen. He nodded as he laid a kiss on her nose.

"Remember, I only have you." Arthur, he said looking her straight in the eye.

Sharon raised an eyebrow gazing at his face with a glint of happiness in her blue eyes. "I do, and You remember that I love you," she confessed as she leaned in for a kiss didn't care other men's glance, as long as Arthur was her only love.

He nodded with a slight smile on his face as they walked out. Hand in hand to face the massive army of 3 houses in front of them as they were training for the first attack tomorrow night.

Finally, the day has come when the King and queen and their army, including 6 thousand swordsmen and seven hounded witches and wizards, marched through the beast's court where the third husband of Laura was waiting for them.

He had an army with magicians and all demons of the north. War started when the enemies reached each other and tried their best to kill as much as they can, fire poured from the gloomy sky like heavy rain, shields couldn't bare so much pressure getting beaten by swords, fires, magic dagger spells, and arrows.

Arthur lost his wife in the battle, he couldn't see her anymore. Still, they kept fighting as the queen's order until they had no energy in their arms and no other spells run into the ambition's dagger.

A demon attacked Arthur from his back, hitting his sword across his red shield. He shrieked, raised his dagger cast a spell as he was a wizard as well.

The demon blocked his attack and grabbed him to lift him. He was about to throw the King on the firm sand when a man from house Limber with his yellow armor passed his sword through his arm, causing it to fall to the ground, and Arthur landed on his foot.

He nodded as a sign of thank you.

The sun was reaching its peak, making the amours hotter. The next few battles were in the forest. They killed demons and creatures of the woods until there were no other magician professors who were an inhabitant of the forest, trees started to disappear one by one, so that during the war when there was no sign of humanity and love, the forest disappeared in front of their eyes.

There were sand and lands without grass or trees, demons could see humans, with no forest in the middle of them, humans kept killing until they reached the court, demons burned anyone they saw in return, so there was only blood and smell of flesh everywhere, few months of war has passed, winter was here, humans were winning.

Sharon, with her special made armor, was a warrior too, she was looking for the demon queen who hid in a cave above the tallest tower in the demon court.

It was the moment when a demon blocked her way. Kat tried hard to reach to the queen as she struggled to fight with four monsters around her. The queen moved her sword and blocked every move of the demon. Her sword fight with the demon was more like a dance; they moved ethically as their sword hit against each other above their heads, on their right side and the left side, and repeat all again.

From the other side of the court, Carsen, the King of demons, dragged his magical dagger as he noticed the pregnant queen down in the courtyard and shouted, "Bemir," the spell meant 'die' in the magic language.

Sharon was distracted with the sword fight when the spell hit her side and made her fall on the ground. Her soldiers and lords of house vague and Limber came to help lift her to drag her back to the camp as they were blocking the enemy's way to protect their queen.

Sharon was unconscious, groaning from the pain as the Lord of house Vague with his gray armor laid her on the ground. They went to look for Arthur on the battlefield.

He was fighting in the middle of a bunch of demons as he was bravely spinning around himself with a sword in one hand and dagger on the other hand.

Sharon was getting dizzy and wired visions about her way of birth. In the middle of her blood or her mother's, she squeezed her eyes together as her body coated with sweat. She felt life was flying away from her innocent young body.

Still, at this moment, Arthur, who was fighting, noticed her wife's situation and ran onto her, managed to kill a few demons to make his way open onto the camp. He dragged out his magical dagger as he pointed at Sharon's side to cast a healing spell.

There was no sign of healing so far. Few of the Barren men were watching the pregnant queen's death in front of her beloved husband's eyes; Arthur was angry at her and himself. She shouldn't have fought, not this time!

Sharon opened her eyes as the spell was working. She coughed as she moved her body and arms, with a glance from the corner of her eyes, noticed that her men were watching her stretching, blushing wanted to sit up. Arthur leaned over to kiss her deeply; she giggled girly as she was trying to push him away,

Arthur didn't let her go, ignoring her blush. Guards left the camp allowed the King and queen to spend some time together. Sharon promised her sweet husband that she will get back and give birth to their future child in the court.

Although the stubborn queen, didn't listen and that night sneaked out and headed to the tower in the dark, only to Kill the queen who she knew Carsen loved so much, the only one who noticed her was her special maid. Kat. she followed her up the hills to protect her.
