6 Delivery

"Wow! It arrived so quick!" Terrell was very excited. He quickly ate the chicken and washed his hands on the kitchen sink.

Terrell scampered towards the entrance. He checked the screen of the intercom. He saw a dozen of guys wearing black boilersuits.

They were carrying three long rectangular boxes. Without a doubt, that was the package they were waiting for.

"Can you please present yourself?" Terrell wanted to make sure, he pressed at the button of the intercom.

"Good noon sir! I am Kirkley Shawn, a professional computer engineer from Zettabyte Technologies, these men are my colleagues from the Technical Logistics Department. We are here to deliver the package and install Zephyr to your home." Kirkley replied politely and shown his ID on the camera.

He had shaggy black hair, his appearance was only average. A typical normal working class man.

"Okay, thank you. Please come in." Terrell tried his best to hide the excitement as he opened the door.

The door was wide enough and the carriers could fit in the long boxes, so there were no problems.

Eirwyn and Aria guided the carriers in boilersuit and told them where they would place the boxes.

Kirkley asked Terrell's signature to sign up on two copies of delivery receive form and formal certificates as a proof of purchase.

After carriers placed the package carefully, they began to unbox. Thick layers of bubble wraps were removed one by one.

A couple of minutes passed by, three Zephyr gaming capsules were unfolded.

A black sleek pod with circuit pattern design was unwrapped.

Kirkley instructed the carriers to fix it on the floor properly and to connect the Cybernet cables and power source.

Kirkley and other technicians began to work on system configurations of the virtual reality gaming pods to make sure it worked properly.

After installation was done, Kirkley turned it on.

The circuit patterns, that entirely covered the black casket, glowed with bright white light.

Terrell's heartbeat was very fast. Eirwyn was astonished by the cool appearance of Zephyr. Aria felt very impatient, she eagerly wanted to play.

Kirkley inserted a removable device to a port in order to detect factory defects and software code malfunction or bugs.

When Kirkley finished to test the pods and the results are perfectly fine, he approached them.

"The Zephyr Gaming Pod was working completely fine. Halcyon Expanse was successfully installed." Kirkley notified them.

"Thank you very much!" Terrell couldn't contain his exhilaration and shook his hands with Kirkley.

"I'm just doing my job sir. There's no need to thank me." Kirley smiled in a friendly manner.

"Before you use it, I really encourage you to read the user manual and the end user license agreement, you'll receive it on your AniMAIL. Since you are beta testers, I inform you once again not to disclose and leak any information about the game, it was written on the terms and conditions for beta-testing. Also, if you have any concerns regarding Zephyr and Halcyon, please contact Zettabyte Customer Service hotline, they will respond immediately." Kirkley the computer engineer instructed them.

"Okay, we'll keep that in mind," Terrell replied in behalf as a guild leader.

"I had noticed this condo unit was actually a guild workshop, this place was really nice. I wish you good luck on your future conquests on Halcyon, Ravenclaw Guild." Kirley gave them encouragement. The emblem on the wall was too eye catchy, so he could see it easily.

"Of course! Ravenclaw, one of the world's top guild of Stratus Isle will rise once again! Blitz assure we will be victorious on Halcyon!" Terrell declared very proudly. Without a doubt, this person was a bona fide guild leader.

"I knew it! Oh, wait... Are you Blitz, the Tempest?" Kirkley felt the familiar name would come into light.

"Yes! I'm Blitz, this guy was Blizz, and that girl was Wren." Terrell introduced them to Kirkley.

"I can't believe it! The legendary core members were now in front of me! I'm very ashamed, sorry that I acting highly before!" Kirkley was astonished and immediately apologized.

"Woah! Guys, they are the Ravenclaw's Tribulation!" A technician heard their conversion clearly.

The men in boilersuits went uproar. Who would have thought these Zettabyte employers knew them? As one would expect, they were also former players of Stratus Isle.

"Then I guess this pretty girl was Wren! Ooooooh!"

The carriers and technicians in boilersuits began to flock around Aria.

"Is this Wren in person? She's so nmaddog beautiful!"

"Could I take a selfie with you?"

"Please! Put an autograph here on my profile!"

"This was a blessing! A humble goddess walking on the surface of cruel earth!"

"Can you make a sadistic pose?"

"Huff... huff... Wren! My idol!"

Beads of sweat formed on Eirwyn's face. He find this situation intolerable. His face slowly became red from rage.

"You fatherducker! Terrell! Look what your stewpig ducking mouth have done! Ducking son of a beach! Die die!" Eirwyn thought to himself as he clench his fists.

Aria emanated an aura of enmity and bloodlust around her in a moment. All of them felt the terror and shivers running on their spine.

The workshop suddenly became quiet.

"No, I won't. I'm uninterested, unless you can kill yourself? That would be fun." Aria smiled, she flat out rejected them.

The men in boilersuits were afraid and began to avoid her.

Kirkley saw the entire situation.

"All of you! You have no free lunch later!" He scolded his colleagues.

"What?!"

"No way!"

"I'm really hungry!"

"Why?!"

"I let you have lunch if you forgot what happened now. Scram!" Kirkley shoo them away.

"Yes, sir Kirkley!" They replied in unison.

"Farewell! Tribulation! Good luck!"

"No! This moment of my life will be cherished! I don't want to forget the face of the goddess!"

"Bye Blitz! Bye Blizz! Goodbye Wren!"

The technical logistics team in black boilersuit went outside the guild workshop. Kirkley remained.

"My apologies for the ruckus that I had caused. I will give you a crucial hint about class selection. Please don't tell other people, I might lose my job if the superiors know about this." Kirkley bowed slightly and he approached Terrell.

"Oh, thank you!" Terrell was glad, he doesn't hold any resentment to him anyway.

"No, no, no. Please listen closely. Anyone can't really pick what they really want. The class the player can choose depends on their own innate personality and elemental affinities. So, what class you pick must be compatible." Kirkley softly disclosed an inside information to Terrell.

"..." Terrell understood and nodded.

"I'll take my leave." Kirkley walked towards the door. Terrell accompanied him to go outside.

"I forgot. My name is Kirk in-game, a former leader of lower ranked dungeon raiding team of Ravenclaw. Once again, I hope you do your best in Halcyon. I don't have any time to play so I can only root for you. Farewell." Kirkley waved as he exit the door and quietly left.

"You can count on us." Terrell replied and looked at Kirkley until his figure disappear on the hallway when he entered the scenic elevator.

Terrell immediately closed the door. His blood began to boil fervently.
