3 Impressing The Senpais

After sending Hinata and Kageyama away, slowly the other members also started coming. Meanwhile, Kenshin started warming up for the practice.

Somewhere in between Kenshin's stretches, Kiyoko also arrived. Everyone started welcoming her except Kenshin who was busy doing warming up.

"Gather up", Daichi said as soon as other members have arrived and all the volleyball members started gathering around him.

"This is Sakamoto Kenshin, our new volleyball member", Daichi said pointing at Kenshin.

"Welcome", other members said.

"Thank you", Kenshin thanked them and walked towards Sugawara and asked, "Sugawara san, Are other members absent or this is it".

"Oh, there are Nishinoya and Asahi, our Ace. But they won't be available for some reason", Sugawara said with a pained smile. Kenshin nodded and went for some serve practice.

Kenshin went to the end of the court and threw the ball high in the air and did a jump serve. Other members were amazed at the serve.

"That 1st year is amazing"

"Our level will go up with him in the team"

"Tanaka said there is another 1st year who also did jump serve but he is currently banned from playing"

The second years were impressed by the newbie. After everyone finished their stretching and warm-up. Daichi san gathered them up.

"We will play 3 vs 3 matches. Me, Sugawara, and Tanaka will be on one team, and Ennoshita, Narita, and Kenshin will in another team. Kinoshita, you will be the umpire and Shimizu will take care of the score", Everyone agreed.

Kenshin went to Ennoshita san and Narita san to discuss their game strategy.

"Ennoshita san, Narita san what position do you play. I normally play Wing Spiker but I can do emergency sets too"

"I play Opposite Hitter", Ennoshita answered.

"I play Middle Blocker but I can do sets as I was a setter in Junior High", Narita replied.

"So you will play as a setter but if you touch the ball 1st then I will do the set", Kenshin said.

After that, they discussed a few other points before it was time for the game. After a toss, it was decided that Daichi san's team will serve first.

Daichi served the ball in front of Kenshin who received the ball perfectly. The ball then went to Narita who set the ball for Ennoshita. Ennoshita spiked but Daichi received it.

Sugawara got under the ball and set it to Tanaka. Kenshin saw this and went to block the spike. Tanaka spikes the ball with full power but Kenshin blocked it and their team score first.

After that Narita served the ball towards Tanaka. Tanaka got it easily and Sugawara set the ball to Daichi but Kenshin who was near the net went to block it with Ennoshita.

After that Narita served it towards Sugawara who touched the ball first. Tanaka sends the ball towards Daichi but this was also blocked by Kenshin.

It was time for Narita to serve again. But he made mistake and the ball fell on their side.

It was Tanaka's serve who sent it towards Narita. Narita received the ball and Kenshin went under it to set it towards Ennoshita. Ennoshita hit the ball near Tanaka who failed to receive the ball.

"Damm, 1st year is amazing. He can do serve, receive, block and set as well", said Tanaka while making a frustrated face. Daichi just laughed it off whereas Sugawara was amazed by the set.

It was Ennoshita's turn to serve. He served the ball towards Sugawara who received the ball and Daichi who send it towards Tanaka to spike. Tanaka spiked the ball but it was stopped by Kenshin.

Tanaka just became frustrated but Kenshin just smiled which provoked Tanaka. Daichi just stopped Tanaka and the game continued.

Ennoshita served the ball but it flew out of bounds.

It was Sugawara's turn to serve. Sugawara served the ball in between Narita and Ennoshita which caused both of them to stop and the ball dropped.

Sugawara served it in a similar manner but Ennoshita received the ball. Narita set the ball to Kenshin who was in the Opposite position. Kenshin did a run-up and hit the ball with his left hand.

Daichi who was expecting the ball to come from the right was stunned to see Kenshin using his left hand.

Everyone in the gym was amazed. It was then Sugawara who said, "I remembered, I have heard about it sometime back. Kenshin is known as Dual Wield Kenshin".

It was not Kenshin's turn to serve. He sent the ball up and did a powerful jump serve towards Tanaka who failed to receive the ball.

Everyone was amazed to see the power of that strike. While Kenshin did jump serves in the practice time, it was nowhere this amazing. Kageyama and Hinata who were watching the game secretly were amazed by Kenshin's play.

Kenshin again threw the ball in the air to do jump serve but with the left hand. This time the ball went to Daichi who managed to get under the ball but failed to receive the ball due to not acquainted with Left spin as well as such powers.

It was when Kenshin did a right-handed jump serve towards Daichi that Daichi was able to lift the ball. Sugawara then set the ball towards Tanaka. Tanaka hit the ball which touched Narita's hand and flew out of bound.

Like this, the game continued until Kenshin's team won 25-12. After that everyone gathered around Kenshin.

"You are amazing dude"

"With you, we will be able to win"

Hearing the complements Kenshin said, "It's probable that we will win some matches with me but Semifinals and Finals of the Prefectural match it will be very difficult as those are some powerhouse school".

"What Kenshin said is true. So we must practice. Let's go and have another match with Kinoshita in my place. I will be the umpire and see what everyone lacks and decide out training accordingly", Daichi said and another match started.

This time Kenshin's group win again with a massive victory.

After that everyone started to practice serve, receive, spiking, or setting. After about 6:30 the practice finished and everyone cleaned up the gym and went out leaving Tanaka, Daichi, and Sugawara.

As Kenshin guessed it was Hinata and Kageyama who challenged the seniors for a match. Everything progressed as usual and Kenshin went to the Clubroom to change and went home.
