7 Future Monsters Annual Gathering
And so the first Future Monsters Annual Gathering had begun
Shou started off the first game with a serve, he threw the ball up, ran and jumped up. Kazu waited for a deep ball while Ushijima and Bokuto was keeping an eye out for the short
Looking at the scene Shou smiled and smashed the ball towards the right corner, Kazu dived for the ball and received it to Atsumu
Atsumu set to Ushijima, Ushijima did his approach and jumped up
"His vert increased by that much from just 1 month?!?" Atsumu looked at his spiker in surprise
Kuroo smiled and ran towards and jump for the block, "You know, I've learned a few things myself too! " he said as denied Ushijima's spike, which caused Ushijima to be surprise for second before regaining is composure
The ball fell back to Kazuto's team, when it was about to hit the ground, a hand slid under it and saved it from hitting the ground
"Nice save Hiroshi-senpai!" Atsumu shouted as he ran and covered, he set to Bokuto
"Nice set Tsum-Tsum!" Bokuto shouted as he did his approach and jumped up and met with Kuroo who was going for the block
Bokuto analysed and decided to hit a block out, Bokuto smashed the ball towards the tip of Kuroo's hand and the ball flew away from the court
"One touch!" Kuroo shouted
Knowing that the ball is going fly away from the court, Shou ran from the court at high speed and saved the ball
'Fast!' Yaku thought
Oikawa went and covered for the ball and tossed the ball to Iwaizumi
Iwaizumi did his approach and jumped up and met with a 2 man block, he tried to find a place to smash the ball to but couldn't
"Tch" he clicked his tongue as he perform a feint
Kazuto recieved the feint, Atsumu set to Ushijima again, Ushijima approached the ball from an angle and jumped
Kuroo also went up to block but Ushijima avoided him and smashed the ball towards Yaku
Yaku tried to recieve it but it flew away from the court, "He's Left Handed ?" Yaku said in surprise
Shou ran for the ball at high speed and thought, 'Hmmmm, let's do it', after thinking for a while he decided to do something
Shou was running when he suddenly jumped up near the ball, twist his body and smashed the ball back to Kazuto's team court
The ball flew at high speed and hit the tip of the net and was about to landed in next to Atsumu who had his eyes widen
But before the ball hit the ground Kazuto ran dived for the ball and saved it
Atsumu quickly regained his composure and set the ball to Bokuto
Bokuto did his approach and jumped up and performed a straight, Kuroo tried to go for the block but he jumped too late
Shou recieved it easily which made Bokuto's eyes twitched a bit, Oikawa went and set the ball to Shou
Shou did his approach, jumped up and smashed the ball
'The net!' Kazuto thought as he get closer but it was then that the ball barely missed the net and went for the corner
"Shit!" Kazuto cursed as he dived for it and hit the ball back to the other court
Shou took the chance when Kazuto lost his balance and smashed the ball to the spot behind Kazuto
Using his last amount of energy Kazuto dived for ball, he managed to touch the ball but it flew away from the court
Osamu and Bokuto ran for the ball, Osamu dived for it but he couldn't get to it in time and ball dropped hit the ground for the first time
"Yeah!!!!" Shou celebrated
Everybody stumbled a bit due to intensity of the first point, but they couldn't stop smiling with crazed expression
"God damn it you got my adrenaline pumping already" Bokuto shouted with a vicious smile
"Haha feel like I can't walk" Atsumu said while looking at the sky in exhaustion
"Hah hah, man today is gonna be a great day!" Oikawa said while gasping for air
'Damn that guy is fucking amazing!' Yaku thought with a crazed smile as he looked at Kazu
"..." Osamu and Ushijima didn't say anything, but their hearts were beating fast, their breath were heavy and they were smiling wildly
"Alright!! Let's do it again!!" Kazu shouted cheerfully
[A/n: Man this why volleyball is fucking beautiful, those intense rally where even if you loses or win, you, your team and the opponent is still smiling and having a lot of fun and want to play like 10 more games with each other , it hit real different ]

From the sidelines Atsoko was watch the rally in amazement, 'I'm not the one playing, but why is my heart beating so fast?', Atsoko thought

Shou got the ball again, and threw it up, he did his approach, jumped up, he smashed the ball accurately and hit the tip of the net
Ushijima who was expecting a short recieved it to Atsumu and backed off to get ready to spike, Atsumu then tossed the ball back to Ushijima
Ushijima did his approach and jumped up, meeting a two man block of Kuroo and Iwaizumi
Ushijima to go for a cross but Kuroo saw his intention and moved his hand and denied the ball's entry and it bounce back
'Damn it...' Ushijima thought as his adrenaline started pumping harder
Kazuto once again saved the ball before it hits the ground, Atsumu went to cover and looked around to see who he should set to and it was then that he heard a voice
"Miya Atsumu! One more time!! ", Atsumu looked at the direction of the voice and it was Ushijima with his hand raised
Atsumu chuckled a bit inwardly before tossing the ball to Ushijima, "Alright! Stoic face-san!"
Ushijima did his approach and jumped up meeting the same two man block
'-reck through it, gonna break through it I'm gonna brek through it!' Ushijima declared in his mind as he twist his body and smashed the ball right through Kuroo's arms
'Gah! Fuck! the power!' Kuroo cursed in his mind
Yaku tried to recieve it but the power was too much and the ball flew and hit the net
Before it hit the ground, even though Shou was really far away from the ball, Shou's God-Speed Impulse ignited, and Shou felt the strongest jolt he had ever felt, he pushed his body to the limit moved and dive for the ball and saved it
"Nice save, Sho-chan!" Oikawa said as he perform a standing spike and hit the ball over the net
Kazuto recieved it to Atsumu who tossed the ball to Osamu, who jumped up and performed a back row attack, in which Yaku managed recived it
Oikawa went to set the ball, it was then that he felt a huge pressure from a certain direction, it was from Shou who still didn't notice that his pressure is leaking out
Oikawa decided, and tossed the ball to Shou, Shou inhaled, approached and using his leg's full power he jumped up
"What in the actual fuck... That's almost as high as Katsuki-san" Kuroo muttered in disbelief as he stared at Shou in the air
Ushijima, Atsumu and Bokuto jumped up for a 3 man block, but after a while they bit their lip as they thought, 'He's too high up'
Shou held his breath and smashed the ball with his full strength, Osamu tried to recieve it but it flew far out of the court
"Damn it!" Kazuto shouted as he ran with his full speed to save the ball, when the ball almost hit the ground Kazuto gritted his teeth as he use the last bits of energy and dive for it and hit the ball back to the court
"Holy shit..." Yaku looked at the scene as he muttered
"Nice Save!" Atsumu shouted as covered for the ball and dig it back to the other court
But when the ball was about to crossed over the net, Shou ran and jumped just before the back line and flew up
"Huh?.... Shit!" Atsumu was confused for a second before realizing and panicked
Shou met the ball when the ball crossed the net and he smashed it back to his opponents court, scoring a point for his team
When the rally ended everyone let out a breath that they didn't know they were holding in
"H-Ho-ly sh-it that... Was crazy" Kuroo said with a bit of struggles
"Yeah...let's do it again!!!!" Bokuto shouted
"..." Shou didn't say anything as he is trying to feel his body as he felt a little odd after that huge jolt he recieved from God-speed Impulse

In a bank white room a man was watching a volleyball game through some kind of Television
He chuckled and muttered with a smile [So it seems, the first potential had awakened inside of him...]

The match continues with the same intensity the score was now 9-6 in favour of Shou's team , the match also gaining attraction as some of the local stopped to watch their match
Ushijima started off the match point with a serve, Shou recieved it to Oikawa who set the ball to Iwaizumi
Iwaizumi did his approach and jumped up and met with Ushijima, he tried to go for a cross court but Ushijima noticed his intention, moved his hand and block the ball and The ball fell down near Iwaizumi
It was then that Shou's God-Speed Impulse did it again, a huge volt of electricity was sent through out Shou's body
Shou quickly moved, dived for it and save the ball.
'Huh?? How did he save that??' Kazu thought with eyes widen, but when looked closer, he saw it, white electricity emitting out of Shou's eyes, "The zone? ....no there's something more to it...."
Shou quickly got up and raised his hand towards Oikawa, who understanded his intention and tossed the ball to Shou
Shou didn't do his approach and used only his vertical jump and flew up
"What the fuck.... Did his vert increased?!?" Atsumu muttered with his eyes widened to the limit
On top of the net Shou met with Ushijima and Bokuto who were determined to block him
Shou proceed to swing his hand straight down, which made Kazuto anticipated a straight but when his hand got near the ball, he curved his hand to the left and back to the right turning his straight into a cross
"Fuck" Kazuto cursed as he lost his balance due to the sudden turn of direction, the ball flew and hit the corner lf the court ending the first match of the gathering
Shou landed back down while breathing heavily, but he couldn't help but smile wildly
'So.. That was the zone... No it's not just the zone... It seems that the potential that my body was hiding is beginning to show itself' Shou thought
"Haha.... Hahahahahah Let's play again!!!" Shou shouted
"YEAHH" Bokuto shouted
They shuffled the team and began their matches, the gathering went on as every moments of each matches was intense and fun, all of them couldn't stop smiling
Playing with Shou and Kazuto, the monsters of future continues to grow at a speed that will help them surpass themselves in the original as Shou and Kazuto can let them feel the love for volleyball that they can't experience anywhere else
After the last play of the last match ended each and everyone of them collaspe. As they looked at each other, they laughed
"Kyahhhh! That felt good!" Kuroo shouted in satisfaction
"Ahhhhh let's do this 365 days a year!" Atsumu shouted
"The point of this is to measure how much you have grown in a year, Tsumu" Osamu said
"I know, damn it!" Atsumu shouted back
"Ah let's get some ramen! Sho-chan you're paying! " Oikawa said
"Alright alright, by the way Kazu what's with the crowd? " Shou asked
"Dunno they started watching us play" Kazuto answered back
"Here!" it was then that a voice sounded out behind Kuroo
Kuroo turned around to meet Atsoko smiling while handing him a sport drink while holding 9 more in her other hand
"Arata-chan you didn't have to do that" Kuroo said
"Ummmm take it as a thank you for bringing me here, by the way tou guys can just call me Atsoko" Atsoko said with a smile
"Alright, thanks" Kuroo said as he recieve the drink
Atsoko finished handing out the drinks, Shou stood up and declared, "Alright let's go get some ramen!! Atsoko you're joining us too!!"
"Ehh? Me too?" Atsoko asked in surprise
"Yeah let's go quickly!" Shou said as he took his belonging and went out of the court, followed by the rest
"Haizz, I mean you gotta appreciate it, it's not everyday that Shou is this cheerful" Kazuto sighed as he followed behind

They arrived at a small shop named Ramen Ichiraku and entered
"Teuchi-san I'm here!" Shou shouted as he entered
A while later a man that seems to be in his late 30 stepped out and looked at Shou as he said, "Ah Shou it's been a while, what's your order?"
"11 special please" Shou answered
"Alright, coming right up" Teuchi said as he went back to the kitchen
"Holy shit... I can't believe I just met god himself, Teuchi-san" Kazuto whispered to Shou
"Yeah can't believe it myself too" Shou whispered back
When the ramen was out, everybody started eating vigorously while laughing and cheering, even Ushijima couldn't kept a stoic expression went confronting this heavenly taste and joined in
The day ended with everyone happy and satisfied as they all went home with a bright smile on their face
Everyone went home first, while Kuroo and Shou walked Atsoko home
The walk was interesting to say, Shou was just being the third wheel while Kuroo and Atsoko was flirting with each other.
But in the middle of the walk Shou was looking at his phone and it was then that they passed 2 girls, one of them was a beautiful girl that seems to be their age with long purple hair tied into a pony tail
When Shou walked pass her he felt something mythical and familiar, his heart started beating fast, his breathing became hard, his eyes widen to the limit as he turned around and called out, "Kyo-chan?!?", but nobody was there
"You okay?" Kuroo said as he put his hand on Shou's shoulder
"..... Yeah sorry I'm just a bit tired..." Shou muttered as he started walking
They walked Atsoko home and went back to their own house
Shou went back to his house and immediately took at hot bath and let the hot water embrace him as he started recalling that feeling

"Sho-kun?!?" the girl with purple haired cried out as he turned around, but no one was there
"Kyoko are you okay?" the girl with short black hair who seems to be her friend asked in concern
"Yeah... Just a bit tired from practice... Let's go Kanoka" Kyoko said as she started walking
"Alright.." Kanoka reluctantly followed behind with a hint of concern

In the same blank, white room the man looked at the TV screen with a sad expression full of guilt as he bit his lip and said, "I'm sorry my childs, it seems you are not destined to meet now as it would destroy the balance of this world, please... endure it for a bit longer... '

"Where are you?" Shou and Kyoko thought at the same time

[A/n : Damn that was a hella long chapter, honestly writing and reading it was real fun, there might be a timeskip soon but I'm tryna figure out how I should write, give me some ideas, alright anyways...
