9 Chapter 7

After that Hadrian went on trip with Sirius to different Orphanages to donate money,food,clothes....etc

Because of Hadrian's ability to apparate their spots

They went to the first two Orphanages and last was an Orphanage a friend of Sirius founded.

Sirius explained"He is mentor of mine,After returning from the war he converted his estate in Keramzin into an orphanage and a home for the war widows." 

Hadrian asked"So have you given them clothes,food and stuff."

Sirius nodded and replied"Yes,but I am waiting for the Matron since the children are being tested for being Grisha."

Hadrian was curious about the Grisha examination they went to the main room,where children were lining up.

Grisha examiners are human amplifiers that use a pain test to detect Grisha, when they perform a small cut,like wind blows around them then their are Squaller...etc

While watching the test,Hadrian noticed a young girl of Shu and Ravkan descent.She has pale skin, with dark brown hair and eyes had hand from when she cut her hand on glass during the Grisha test.

Hadrian grinned and thought"Smart girl."

During the Grisha test if you have injury prior to test,the test will come negative.

Hadrian asked the Matron"Who is the girl?"

The Matron hesitated then replied"Alina Starkov, she is studying to be Cartographer."

Alina was orphaned at a young age, when her parents died in the Fold. She grew up in the orphanage at Keramzin, where she became friends with Mal, and the two would often play together

One day, the Grisha came to test the children at the orphanage to see if they were Grisha. Not wishing to be separated from her friend, Alina secretly cut her hand as she was being tested, sabotaging the results, causing them to mistakenly believe she was not a Grisha.

Hadrian watched as the two children Mal and Alina looked Happy about the result.Hadrian could actually see himself in both of them since both clung to each other for security.

Hadrian watched the girl studying the huge map inside the study room asked"The world is more amazing when you see the places yourself."

Alina flinched suddenly hearing a voice out of nowhere,she turned around to see a boy with messy back hair and enchanting emerald green eyes,snaping out of her daze she questioned"Who are you?"

Hadrian smiled and answered"Hadrian Black,I came with my father to donate a clothes and food to your orphanage."

Alina was still on guard,but with some small talk Hadrian was able to make conversation with Alina,who gradually lowered her guard and talked about the different places she wanted to visit.Sh wanted map these locations herself

Alina didn't know why she felt she could trust him,as she didn't see eye of distrust or disgust at her heritage of being Shu.Even her friend Mal showed some signs of distrust when they first met.

Hadrian gesturing to her hand asked"Did you hurt your hand?"

Alina quickly hid her hand as Hadrian smile and said'I can heal it for you."

Hadrian simply held his hand out and said"Your hand please.I won't hurt you."

Alina hesitated,but gradually gave in and held her hand out as she felt hand become very hot, then very cold.The wound on her hand completely closed up without leaving any mark behind.

Alina looked at this with amazement,this was the first time she seen a Grisha in action.Alina looking at Hadrian whispered"You are a Grisha."

Hadrian spent a month their before return back home during the time,he grew to have close friendship with Alina.Hadrian even gave her an Owl he trained so they can write each other,he promised to visit when he can.
