30 Chapter 22

[A/N:About Alina Starkov,she is going to be the apprentice of Hadrian and will have connection with Hadrian and Mal.So basically she has feelings for Hadrian,that she has not recognized yet.So as I write more, I will decide either to make Alina a lover or sister figure.

For the past 2 years Hadrian sent couple of his new recruits who have been trained to borders of Shu or Fjerda some of them actually found immigrants who are Grisha or have Grisha as family members.It took some time to get their trust.But soon they were allowed to come into the village which slowly got expanded to size of small city.Also it took a while for Shu and Fjerda people to accepted,even then their is distrust because this type of hate doesn't die down easily.

After getting Bo Yul Bayur and Kuwei adjusted,he was able to cure Bo Yul's legs and they born were amazed by some of the things they saw in the small city.Nina made sure make them sign the contract,which they read upon reading it without missing a word.

While the next day Hadrian was sitting next to the lake that day,he smiled called out"Katara you can come out now."

Out of thr water came a dragon with serpent-like, wingless water dragon, complete with red mane can swim through the air very gracefully but very fast a majestic-looking creature [130 meters long] with these large scales that translucent and iridescent scales.It had deer like horns on its head.

It had very slender, eel-like body, fox-like face with white fish-like scales and fin-like protrusions in several places on its head, along with deep red fur on its chest, underbelly, legs and tail.

It gracefully flew across the sky like it was swimming in the water and slowly came down and hovered infront of Hadrian,who smiled placed his hand on her snout and said"I am sorry,I didn't visit you sooner."

Katara just nuzzled into Hadrian's hand,she was more of loner type.But she loved her creator and would protect him with all her might.

The peole who were native to Shu upon seeing Katara actually bowed whenever they saw Katara since there are legends of dragons in Shu Han.At the start they were scared of her,but with time they found out how peaceful Katara or Indra where.Hadrian did warn then if anyone did hurt any of his familiars they would be kicked out.Even then 5 Grisha tried to kill Indra to make an Amplifier out of him,but they were hit with multiple lighting bolts that they were half burnt,after that they were kicked out with their memories of this place completely removed.He made sure to be through the with the memory wipe.

This was enough to make any greedy onces back off these people were minority,while others were happy with their new lives and was grateful towards Hadrian.But none of them tried anything with Katara since her size and abilities discouraged many from attacking them.Katara was not only strong,but her additional abilities of wind and water manipulation made her very tough opponent.

Kuwei was pretty much following Hadrian around asking to me a apprentice,he was watching this scene with jaw wide open.He had heard from people around about a dragon living in the lake,they called Gurdian of the Lake Katara.He was broken out his daze when he heard Hadrian ask"Do you want to pet her Kuwei."

Bo Yul Bayur was watching this from a distance,slightly worried as Nina who was next to him said"You don't have to worry Katara is peaceful dragon,she won't hurt you unless you attack her."

Bo Yul Bayur nodded and asked"So this is his creation too."

Nina nodded and replies"Yes he has firebird and thunder horse too.But both of them prefer to be out of sight atleast most of the time."

Bo You Bayur eyes widened as he said"Amazing no one after Saint Ilya was able to perform anything of this magnitude."

He looked at Nina and asked"What about that teleportation device you called Portkey."

Nina shrugs and replied"I don't know,it was something only his family could create.But he is teaching some of his stuff like Genya is learning Potions,which is amazing the number potion that are described in their is life saving."Nina was afraid to reveal some information,after all the man did sign the contract.So they didn't need to worry about it too much and Hadrian seems intrested in bringing him into the group after all having such great scientists and not using them would be waste.Nina described some of the potions for Bo Yul Bayur what did Hadrian say "dangle a carrot in front of him as incentive.

Bo Yul Bayur knew the drug Hadrian gave him was amazing,but there were other drugs that have effects that could be considered miracles.

Nina broke Bo Yul Bayur out of his thoughts"Your son seems to idolize Hadrian."she was about to say lover,but stop and think"I should really talk with Zoya about this,if he isn't going to take the initiative we will have to do it."

Bo Yul Bayur noticed this about his son too,with smile muttered"Yeah he does."he always felt guilty that his son had go through such misery because of him and his bloodline.But now it seems their was really fate for them to meet Hadrian.

What Bo Yul Bayur didn't know was that,it was because of Hadrian's presence that he was alive till now a ripple created this change.In the original timeline he died during the ambush,while his son was alone pressured into making the drug again.
