2 Chapter 2

It's been 5 years since Hadrian met his family.

Those 4 years was blessing for Hadrian. He grew up to 140cm tall, average height for the boy of his age. He dresses fancily like Gomez, wearing elegant black suit usually. His dark as night hair was combed two ways splitting in the middle and was more tameable. His once vibrant green eyes was now little bit darker now and became sharp.

Ever since he was blood adopted by Addams family his control of his magic grew stronger.

He now can teleport whenever he wanted. The reason he wasn't able to teleport before was there was an ancient anti apparate ward was placed in the mansion. After he gone through the blood adoption, wards stopped restricting him.

He now can move things with just a simple hand gesture or concentrating his mind on it. It became a second nature to him.

Over the years Granny Frump and Morticia educated Hadrian in magic and also informed him how Addams family magic worked.

Their magic was ancient and chaotic. Their magic was different from wand wielders.

Magic of the Addams family made them more durable, stronger than ordinary people and magicals.

They used their magic like an aura and had a finer control.

Frump was also from an ancient magical line. Their speciality was around divination, curse, potion making.

With Potter, Addams, Frump and fraction of Black families' unique magic Hadrian was bound to become a monster of a wizard. He was a prodigy. Even Addams family acknowledged so.

Gomez trained all three of his kids in weapon handling.

Hadrian also got so close to his siblings. They cared for each other deeply in their own ways.

Hadrian and Wednesday were quite similar with their fascination in old lores and stuffs that are darker in nature. They were quite ruthless and sadistic in their games.

As for Pugsley he was cheerful and mischievous and loved to cause chaos.

In the attic of the mansion Hadrian, Wednesday and Pugsley were playing.

Pugsley was tied by rope with apple in his mouth was vigorously shaking his head.

Wednesday aimed a crossbow at Pugsley then said "Don't be a baby, I know what i'm doing"

Beside her Hadrian was grinning while levitating a small dagger then said "Come on Pugsley it will be fun"

Just before Wednesday could shoot her arrow there was a knocking on the door.

Hadrians eye instantly glowed eerily. He was watching the guests through Mortifer's eyes.

"Who is it Hadrian" Wednesday asked.

"It's the lawyer. He is with his wife" Hadrian answered. Then they resumed where they left.

Later that night when heavy rain was pouring outside, The same lawyer arrived with his wife.

Hadrian was in his room training his magic control.

"Hadrian dear, We need you here" Morticia called Hadrian.

Hadrian apparated to the room with a crack and appeared beside his mother startling the guests.

Margaret Alford wife of the lawyer Tully Alford was creeped out when Hadrian suddenly appeared. She said hiding her unease, she said to Hadrian with sweet voice with forced smile "I didn't realize you were here"

Hadrian just mysteriously smiled at her creeping her even more then said to Morticia "I'm here mother"

"Hadrian my dear, Take a seat. We are going to try to connect with uncle Fester" Morticia said lovingly.

Harry simply said "Ok" then took a seat between guests.

After Granny Frump scared lawyer's wife with Thing making her think she tore off Granny's hand shouting "She has got my hand" Wednesday started the ritual.

Granny Frump dramatically caressed the crystal orb that was front of her while calling Fester Addams she suddenly stopped then said. "I feel that he is near."

Lurch made atmosphere even more dramatic with piano, playing dramatic piece.

Granny Frump continued "Fester Addams, Gather your strength and knock 3 times"

As soon as she said that, loud knocking sound vibrated through the mansion 3 times.

"Did you hear that" Granny Frump exclaimed.

After insisting of the participants she continued "Fester Addams, I demand that you knock again!" earning another 3 knocks.

Gomez stood up shocked then shouted "He is at the door" Then they rushed at the door.

When Gomez opened the front door they were greeted by a bald man with dark circles under his eyes saying "Gomez"

3 Days later.

Gomez was furious. He was sure that man wasn't Fester.

At first Gomez and his families members were thrilled to have Fester back.

But they started to realize he was acting different and didn't know about common things in the house like finger trap, secret code to the vault.

"Gomez my dear. Too much time has passed since we last saw Fester. Things change with time" Morticia soothed her fuming husband.

"He is an imposter i say. if he were a real Fester how could he forget everything we did together hundreds of time a day since we were young." Gomez whispered in dejection.

"Mon amour maybe we should contact with doctor Pinder-Schloss. She might have an explanation" Morticia said. Then continued "Besides tomorrow is an important day for Hadrian. He's turning 11"

"Ohhh Tish my darling" Gomez grabbed Morticia's hand then kissed it passionately "You have a solution for everything. Also how could i forget my little devils birthday"

While they were burning in each others love Dr. Pinder-Schloss arrived due to courtesy of suspected fake Uncle calling her.

While adults were talking Hadrian and Wednesday were talking in their play room.

"So tomorrow is your birthday. Mom said you will get an invitation from magical school" Wednesday said while sharpening sword.

Wednesday too also wanted to go to magical school but decided to study under grandmama.

"Yes. But i wonder how will that invitation will reach here to America from England" Hadrian answered. He was curious.

Nothing much happened that day. Day went like it always do in Addams household.

But far away in Scotland Dumbledore was deciding to either go himself to America or send one of his professors.

While he was thinking hard what's the best way to welcome Harry Potter into British magic society Minerva arrived.

Dumbledore raised his eyebrows then asked "What can i do for you Minerva"

Without wasting time Minerva McGonagall said "Harry Potter's acceptance letter is ready to be sent, Should someone bring it to him or send to by owl?"

"I was thinking either sending Hagrid or going personally. What do you think?" Dumbledore answered.

"Is there any other professors that could go. I don't think Hagrid is suitable for the job" Minerva frowned while answering.

"He is gentle and sensitive man if you ignore his rough language and imposing body frame. I think he will leave positive impression on our dear boy" Dumbledore said, quite satisfied by his own choice. He thought with sending his most trusted man to Harry he could influence his way of thinking.

"Do you mind informing our dear Hagrid and give the letter to him" Dumbledore asked.

"I hope you are right. I'll be on my way then" With that Minerva left Dumbledore to his own fantasies.

Today was the day. Hadrian was restlessly walking around the front door waiting his letter since early in the morning.

Finally someone rang the bell.

When Hadrian opened door he saw a giant man with long hair and puffy beard. He was wearing a brownish leather jacket on top of the regular shirt and topped with a long leather coat, and leather pants big belt.

Without giving chance to introduce himself to Hagrid, Hadrian shouted excitedly "Lurch! Lurch! look! your relative is here"

"Hadrian honey, He is not relative of Lurch" Morticia arrived at door then told to Hadrian then turned to Hagrid and invited him in "Welcome. I believe you are from Hogwarts. "

Dumbfounded Hagrid said "Uhh.. Thank you" with that he followed Hadrian and Morticia to guest room.

Hagrid was feeling quite uncomfortable. Every members of Addams family were at the table staring at him.

After drinking suspicious looking but delicious tea Hagrid started to talk again facing, eagerly but creepy smiling Addams family members.

"Thank you for the tea. I'm the gamekeeper and Keeper of Keys and Grounds of Hogwarts Rubeus Hagrid and i'm here to deliver acceptance letter for Harry Potter."

"Nice to meet you Mr. Rubeus Hagrid." Hadrian answered then added

"Now i go name by Hadrian Addams. Call me Hadrian"

"Ummm..." Hagrid didn't know what to say then decided to change the subject. "By the way Har.. Hadrian how come did you end up in America. What happened to your relatives"

"Oh Dursleys, I don't know i haven't seen them a while. They dropped me in America then vanished. Now can i take my letter" Hadrian urged.

"What do we say dear" Mortica added.

"Now!" Hadrian demanded making Morticia smile.

Hagrid awkwardly brought out the letter then gave it Hadrian "Uhm yeah. Here you go. Also i'm here to take you out shopping for your school supplies"

Hadrian stood up excitedly "Let's go mom, dad"

"You know, wizarding shop we are going to visit is in the England and i don't have a permission to bring more than one person through international floo network with me. So it's just you and me" Hagrid said.

Hadrian felt degected then asked "can't we shop in here America."

"We can but you will be regular there and also you have to visit Gringotts the wizarding bank in England and fill some documents" Hagrid explained.

"It's ok son. You can go without us. There's a always be a next time" Gomez smiled.

"Thank you Mr. Addams. I will bring back Hadrian no later than 7PM" Hagrid smiled.

After arriving in front of the Addams mansion Hagrid took few moments to prepare himself mentally. After all he was going to meet one of the darkest family in history. He grew up hearing all kinds of rumors about Addams family. Some people say they are demons, or devils. Cold blooded murderers, Freaks of nature etc. He was worried about Harry's and his own safety.

His worries were unfounded and relieved after the meeting. Actually he felt welcomed in weird way.

Unfortunately that relieving feeling didn't last long.

When He and Hadrian was ready to go, suddenly Hadrian hissed then black snake slithered over and wrapped himself around Hadrian's arm that was extended.

"Blimey Harry! You are a parselmouth?!" Hagrid exclaimed.

"Yes. Isn't he wonderful?" Morticia smiled at Hadrian with proud expression while answering to Hagrid.

"His name is Mortifer" Hadrian proudly introduced his familiar lifting it up to shocked Hagrid.

Hagrid came out of his stupor when Hadrian introduced Mortifer then said "Sorry there lad. I was just shocked. What a rare snake you have. And what a fitting name. Can i touch him"

After all Hagrid always had a soft spot for all kind of creatures.

After petting Mortifer, of course with said snake's permission, with wide smile Hagrid, and Hadrian and snake trio started their journey to the Diagon Alley.

To Hadrian Diagon Alley wasn't much interesting. When he finally thought he found something interesting and was going to those shops with unique aura he was forcefully stopped by Hagrid which he said "Never go to that area. That area is off limit to minors". But Hadrian decided to visit that place with his family later and complied. Things that caught his attention was people knowing his old name and busy street of Diagon Alley filled with witches and wizards.

Visit to Gringotts was even more boring. He just visited his own trust vault and got gold coins. Then filled some forms that was for tuition fee for schooling and various other random stuffs like informing his location address, change of name and missing details.
