Chapter 1: The Encounter

While venturing to the small pastures on the eastern areas of Sahadi, a nomad naming Meguia was being held captive.

"Explain what happened. We saw the explosion from miles away." a guard spoke.

"Like the hell I know how to explain it." she smirked.

"Being cocky eh?" another guard added as he slaps her all of a sudden.

She did not respond and just spitted the blood that formed from her gums.

The guards belong to a scouting corps of the Union, a military authoritarian force of the Aenids who seeks to control the Noeis.

Ever since they came back to the surface, they get full of themselves and thinks they are commanding force of the remaining clusters of humanity.

Of course, the Noeis begged to disagree, but they don't have the power to repel.

The abuse of their powers led to slavery of the Noeis.

Only those who pays their ridiculous sum of tax and adheres their policies were able to get a fair share of treatment from the Aenids.

It would later spark a rebellion that will create such grave conflict between the two.

While staring outside from the windows of the modified Humvee they are riding at, her mark started to itch once again.

The guards on the back seat were silently watching over, cautious on her every move.

Judging on the looks on their faces, it's impossible not to notice how gorgeous she is, even though she's covered with a nomad suit.

The sun gleamed through her nomad headdress, slightly showing off her umbre-toned hair.

It typical for nomads to have headgears to protect them from hours of being exposed to the sun.

Meguia's got a unusual mix of goggles with a silk covering her ears and hair from the back.

She then removes her silk mask, revealing the angelic and snow-white complexity on her face.

You can't really tell her being skinny under her long sleeves partnered with a loose harem pants and old pair of sneakers.

She suddenly noticed the two guards lusting over her.

"Uhmm. You guys have a problem?" she spoke, raising her right eyebrow.

Both of them just shrugged and resumed on whatever they were doing.

Suddenly, something dropped over the horizon that happens to be a mysterious creature.

"What the hell is that!" a guard screamed.

The impact may have disrupted the vehicle as it started to be unresponsive.

"Stay here and look after her." two guard pulled their heavy looking rifles as they ventured out.

Meguia slowly took a peek outside, only to notice a medium-built alienoid figure.

It had a yellowish skin tone with red and black markings on it's body the gleamed against the sunlight.

She was intrigued with the weird tentacles on his head.

The guards approached the creature in extreme caution, still unwary of what the hell it was.

"Identify yourself!" a guard came a meter close to it, pointing and loading his rifle.

"I do not resolve in any violence, earthling. I am just a traveler looking for someone." it replied in a gentle manner.

Both guards were both surprised and amazed that it could recognize and speak their language.

Suddenly, the creature's eye have met Meguia's.

It slowly approach her without hesitation.

"Don't you dare walk away from us!" a guard yelled while unintentionally missed a shot near the creature's foreground.

The creature seemed pissed and moved it's arms in such a graceful manner.

It seems that it was channeling something, and both guard started to load their rifles at him.

Out of the blue, a mysterious force sent them flying, having them both unconscious on the ground.

"What the hell happened!" the last remaining guard exclaimed as he started to grab his rifle.

The creature resumed walking towards Meguia, as it gave her a cold stare.

"I.. It.. It's coming right in front of us!" she stuttered as he prepares to shot it at will.

The creature started to move it's arms again.

Meguia saw a purple mist being enveloped, as the creature was preparing to make his attack!
