"Am so sorry for your lost miss, believe me we tried our best to revive her and your really friend fought for her life so we will be looking forward to see her family to claim her corpse and take her to the mortuary, my condolences miss Linda" he said and hung up leaving Linda to scream and wail,her cry attracted few people in her hostel who later joined her to cry for the death of Betty. Doris came back from fellowship and saw crowd in her room she was wondering what is happening,she rushed inside and saw Linda crying "Linda what is it, please don't tell me is Betty". Linda crying said" yes is her ooh,Betty is dead ". This continued till night the few students that came to the room to console her started leaving one after the other leaving Linda and Doris.

Doris was meant to go for a night vigil that night but she couldn't go leaving her roommate who is likely to commit suicide if care is not taken.

Doris sat beside Linda's bed all through the night looking after her. Few hours later she broke the silence" may her soul rest in perfect peace Amen, you know I saw this coming when I had that bad dream about her,if only she listened maybe this wouldn't have happened". Linda never stopped crying as she thought to herself,she wanted to hide the true story of her death to her people but on a second thought she said no, she will let her parents know about this,she wouldn't hide anything about her death,she doesn't want only her to carry two secrets,she wants to offload one from her heavy chest Which is revealing the true story but the other one left is forever a secret,which is the true story of Rita's death. So she decided to call her parents tomorrow for them to take there daughter's corpse to the mortuary, she doesn't want to go alone, she wants to go with a friend she said to Doris "please I need you to accompany me to the students affairs tomorrow,I want to call Betty's parents and inform them about their daughter's death". "no problem at all make sure you tell them everything", Linda ignored her as tears wouldn't stop rushing down her face as she remembers there sweet memories, she misses her already, she thought to herself. Linda couldn't sleep all through the night as she kept on crying silently to herself not to wake up Doris who has already slept off beside her.

The following morning as early as 7,Linda woke up and tapped Doris on her shoulder telling her to wake let them go to students affairs and make the call before students starts resuming for classes.

Few hours later after a little preparation they left. On reaching there her heart started pounding heavily. Doris noticed her friend isn't in the good mood to make the phone call she said" allow me to make the call". It rang for few seconds and a hoarse voice answered from the background, Linda's heart skipped "Hello sir,this is Linda Peters,Betty's friend am sure she has mentioned you to me few times". Mr Johnson replied" oh Linda my daughter how are you doing ". Linda ignored the question " sir I called you because of your daughter ". Mr Johnson's heart skipped a bit" my daughter Betty,hope she is good?".
