11 Realisation

When they arrived at the base, just looking at it gave Hackerman a flashback. He and the mystery lady worked here. It was a laboratory, not a base of operations, and the two of them were both assigned to be the heads of the building. When they went inside, more memories. The front desk was A.I, which he was much more surprised about than he remembered being. In his memory, he called out "Graves", so he did so in real life. The A.I must've recognized his voice as it responded with "welcome back Dr. Graves" before the whole place lit up. Ben and Jeffery were surprised, so this must not have happened the first time, but they were now looking at him with suspicion as if to say what does this man have to do with a government lab. Hackerman couldn't not be curious. An A.I and a government lab were his belongings. "Lead us to the experimentation room," he said. The memories were returning faster now. The mystery lady was his wife, a transportation circle was what he saw in his memories. The people that were building something, were, in fact, building a weapon of mass destruction, and his powers over electricity are the result of a failed experiment. The A.I led them down numerous corridors until they ran into a dead end. Moments later, they could feel the whole passageway shaking. Then the wall in front of them sank into the floor, to reveal a large hall, and covering the floor of the hall, was the miyami crest. More memories. Miyami was the name of the darker science and experimentation division in the government. In the miyami division, unlike the public science division, more illegal and profitable experiments were conducted. Time travel, selling super powerful weapons to the highest bidder on the black market, and human experimentation. Following the A.I down more corridors, they arrived at the experimentation room. All of his memories returned. His full name was Bradley Graves. He was a scientist working in the miyami division. He always had an aptitude for science, and as a result of a failed experiment to create an unlimited supply of renewable energy, he created a device that could absorb objects and convert them into pure energy. The government found out about this soon enough and conducted tests with the machine. They realized that the rawest energy in the highest quantities was made when converting organisms, and at the top of the list were humans. Bradley found out about this and the cruel gruesomeness of what the government was doing with his accidental creation overwhelmed him. The guilt he felt as a scientist nearly killed him. His conscience wouldn't let him rest, so he planned on stealing the machine and destroying it. He couldn't access the machine because of the fact that it was guarded 24/7 and was on a level that he was restricted to, but his wife wasn't restricted to this level. He knew that he could trust her more than anyone in the world, so he asked her to help him destroy his creation. She then told him about and led him to the black division, the highest and most confidential sector of the miyami division. He didn't know about the existence of this sub-division but knew that this was something the government would do so he wasn't surprised, and he knew he probably wouldn't be if there was a sub-sub-division. When she opened the door to the black division, he expected to see his creation, but instead, he was greeted by a small room, the one they were standing in, and at its center, the transportation circle, the same one they were standing in front of.
