'It's dark again. How did I manage to get myself killed twice in one week..? Even though it hurts it kind of feels warm too, like being embraced in someone's arms.. It's been a while since I felt like this, I could get used to this. Last time I felt this was with her, maybe I'll meet her again — the light.' reaching for what looks like a shimmer of light from the top of the endless abyss then suddenly getting pulled forward.

Opening eyes slowly.

"Everything is blurry."

"Leni? Your ok!" Vaun yelled with his voice broken down and tears running down his cheek with Leni in his arms.

"Shh, don't talk now. You'll be fine, the medics are back at the estate don't worry we just have to get there" still broken voice and non stop tears.

"what.. happene..?" Leni said before falling backwards

"Sir, all she needs is simply some time to rest. Luckily, her commander print already treated most of the blown chunks"

'who is that?' looking around with blurry eyes 'am I in someone's bedroom? I can't see the two figures clearly'

"Leni? Here here don't move, your still recovering." he states as rushing to catch Leni's falling hand.

"What happened?"

"Apparently the leader used his rank in the army to get to one of our facilities with still in testing bomb straps and tried to take you out with him after his plan didn't work out" grabs a chair " That bomb kills every one in a hundred foot radius. Unfortunately, killing all in his group and 15 harpies that were passing through the area"

"what about me?"

"You didn't get too hurt because of your defensive and regenerative prints... Lenigeaer you were right on top of the explosion and you didnt wake up for a while, are you sure your okay?" his voice broken a little bit.

"I'll be taking my leave now" said the doc packing his equipment.

"Don't worry about it. I'm here now, right?" as Leni get up from the oddly shaped bed "are you good though?"

"why of course. I didn't get hurt too bad"

"You should go to sleep. It's getting quite late" Vaun says as wiping what appears to be sweat and getting up from the chair.

'I'm going all the way through!'

"why not?" Going further into the blanket until only his eyes could be seen.
