7 Chapter 4.5 The Future

After being welcomed by the High ranking Military officer, we were instructed to follow behind him to the gathering area of all the high ranking members of both the factions.

As soon as we entered the princess was surrounded by many concerned eyes, till the king ordered everyone to move as soon as he saw his daughter he rushed down to her he spoke to her with a concerned and sorrow tone.

He asked all the basic question you'd suspect from a man who lost contact with his only daughter who was nearly in the enemies clutches after all.

After speaking for an awhile Alery's gave a bow and introduced himself as a Royal Guard, After official formalities, I was brought into the picture by Alery who introduced me as a wandering adventure they hired to guard Princess Jennifer.

I was warmly and comfortably welcomed by the King and the faction leaders.

We greeted and chatted and got to get know each other's personality, the King personality it wasn't so far as twisted but it was slightly decisive and schemey.

Tho he was a trustworthy person he wouldn't mind to stab you in the back. He was informed of my adventure status and asked me if I wanted some permanent employment but I said no do to it being time-consuming and a life long servitude.

We decided to discuss possible requesting me to employ to help out in the upcoming war, but it was more like forcing as they could attempt to capture me and arrest me because I knew of there plans.

Even tho I was forced who could complain when they threw the price of One Billion Kalibs on the table or (10 Million U.S.). They requested me to join a Special Elite Unit for the upcoming war with the Noble Faction or in short terms Civil War.

The plan for the war wasn't that special it was manly spearmen, knights, and cavalry in this war. I was placed in the Mage part of the unit and 'ordered' to get to know them to build connections so we won't falter in battle.

Personally, I did not give a single damn about the war or the unit but I was just so nervous about what gun I should use I couldn't decide or pick but I knew I needed something for long range, fast, and lots and lots of firepower.
