1 Prologue

"I want him here" the boss, fuming in anger, shouted at his subordinate, "right now!!"

"Yes Sir!" the subordinate hurried out of the room.

The man unaware of all this, sat on a bench in a park, enjoying the cool breeze.

It's Sunday and many families were out on a picnic. It seemed like they were enjoying their time with their partners and children.

A kid, around the age of eight, came running towards this man sitting on the bench, wearing a brown coat, with an iced Americano in his hand.

"Hi!" he greeted enthusiastically, "what is your name?"

"You are asking me?" the man asked looking around.

"Yes," he nodded with a smile.

"My name is Zhang Lei. But you can call he Levi" He said pinching his cheek.

He sat beside him on the bench and smiled at him. He seemed to like this stranger.

"What is your name?" Levi asked the little boy.

He answered with a giggle, "I'm Zhang Lei too"

"We both have the same name?? What a coincidence!" He shook his hand and said, "Nice to meet you, Small Lei"

"I'm not small! I'm this big" he jumped off the bench and showed off his height.

Levi lift his eyebrows and said, "woah you are so tall!"

The kid proudly sat back on the bench.

"By the way, that man over there wants to talk to you. He asked me to send you to him," he laughed, "but I forgot to tell you"

Levi lifted his head to see the man who wanted to meet him. His smile immediately wore off and he waved at the kid, "Bye small Zhang Lei"

"What brings you here?" Levi asked the man in the black suit.

"Levi," the man said, agitated, "Boss wants to see you"

Levi pushed him away, "I'm not going anywhere," he said, "I'm trying to enjoy my vacation"

"Oh come on Levi" the man walked beside him, "it's not like I enjoy doing this, but Boss is really angry. He wants you in front of him immediately"

"I don't care! I'm not going there until my two-day vacation ends. Go and tell him that Mark" Levi sipped his drink.

"Two-day vacation?? That's all?" Mark sighed, "it doesn't matter if I go back or not, he's going to throw me out anyway, that is if I don't bring you back with me," he said, "but I can't force you to come back"

Levi halted and turned around, "let's go," he said and started walking in the opposite direction, towards his car.

Mark followed behind.

"Here you are, Levi!" The Boss stood up from his chair and walked towards him, "I thought I'd never see you again"

Levi gritted his teeth in anger, "why bother? It's not like I can run away from this place"

"You ignorant brat!" Shouted the Boss.

"Why did you ask for me?"

"Here" The Boss handed him a glass of alcohol, "you think you are smart enough to get away with everything? Is that what you think?"

Levi didn't say anything.

"You see I've got my men everywhere" The Boss continued, "if there is a breach of the contract, I am the first one to be informed"

"I know" Levi answered immediately.

"Of course you do" the boss closed in, "and you still dare to betray me?"

Levi looked at him in confusion, "I'm sorry, what!?"

Mark joined in, "Sir I think there is a misunderstanding. Levi could never-

"I want him dead" The Boss ordered, "Mark, you carry out the execution"
