Chapter 1 - Aria

"Why did you keep the b*tch alive? Let her die if she wants to." A woman in her forties curses her spouse.

"Mother, she was simply heartbroken. As a result, a young man in his twenties can move on.

Unfortunately, her husband was deafeningly silent and had no intention of responding.

It was unknown what the family's patriarch was thinking.

Because his daughter was in serious condition, he was staring at her through a small window.

"Does the mother have a cold heart?" One of the nurses made a remark

"Hss, don't let them hear you," warned another nurse.

"You guys might be new here. The girl was dubbed a suicide victim. This isn't the first time she's done anything like this. Normally, the mother wants to let her daughter receive what she wants," one of the senior nurses said.

"If you are too lazy to discuss our patient. I believe it is preferable to increase your burden.' The nurse said ahead of time.

He notices they are discussing poor ladies. He was aware that the woman was not horrible, but she was not spectacular.

They both attend the same university school. He only knows her, and they aren't buddies.

He can't help but recall that she had a crush on this stunned woman, but he doesn't stand a chance. At the time, she was in a relationship.

He was clumsy at the time and misplaced his report for a thesis assignment. He was in a state of complete terror at the time. He can afford to fail because he is only a scholar, and the relay subsides.

Then, out of nowhere, a lovely woman approached him and informed him that she had discovered his thesis project. However, there was no phone number or contact information on the report.

But the lovely lady simply knew his name and assumed he worked in the nursing department. Because the thesis was about medicine.

He can't believe a beautiful woman gets herself into difficulty only to return a thesis paper from a stranger.

He was taken aback at this point. What happened to the bright and lovely woman he once knew?

She was a typical beta female. She is uncomplicated and uninteresting. But she is not unattractive or has a horrible demeanor. This woman's main defect was her poor dress sense.

In terms of family, she comes from a wealthy and influential family. She is a self-sufficient woman who has built her own business. She was a caring and responsible lady.

She was, after all, stunning. Many people may mistake her for the alpha because of her business or academic abilities. Because of her beauty, she may be mistaken for an omega.

She always informed them that she was a beta. Others accuse her of posing as someone she is not.

This woman's main defect was her poor dress sense.

"You did an excellent job, son. So the b*tch committed suicide because her ex-fiancee stole company shares," said the middle-aged woman.

"Yes, mother, I don't understand why the father is so forgiving of that failure of a woman," her son remarks.

"Relax, my son; you must heed my advice. We can have that b*tch lose her inheritance rights, leaving only you and your older brother to inherit everything you deserve." Woman in her forties.

"Yes, ma'am. Her son responds, "The little miss beautiful mask that she continues wearing shall befall."

A young man was seeing the same woman in the hospital at the same time.

"Aria, I warned you not to trust that assh*le," the young man can't help but feel sad when he sees his sister.

He has a crush on his step-sister. When they were kids, Ryan and Aria were best friends.

However, Aria puts her care of him in jeopardy when his mother marries her father when they are both in high school.

He falls in love with her even before he understands what it means to be in love.

Unfortunately, he had already discovered his feelings for her. He was adopted as her brother. Worst of all, she grew colder and colder towards him.

So he fooled himself to be a good big brother to her. She will not accept him regardless.

"Brother, you've arrived. You're preoccupied. "There's no need to go see this b*tch," Ronald advises his older brother.

Ryan did not respond, instead of smiling at his younger brother and looking at her mother.

"Why do you despise Aria so much, Mother?" Ryan can't stop himself from wondering.

He is aware that his mother and younger brother despise Aria. But he is still hoping for the day when they will be a happy family.

He may not be Aria's spouse, but he can be her caring older brother, right?

"My beloved son, you have arrived to take us up. Allow yourself to go." The middle-aged mother noticed her eldest son was being considerate by picking her and her younger brother up.

"Yes, mum. Where is the father? Did he pay a visit to Aria?" Ryan inquired.

"Do you suppose he had time for this b*tch?" Karen asked.

Sadly Her son misinterpreted it.

"I don't understand why the father is so close and loving to us even though we are not blood relatives. And was so cold to his blood daughter," Ryan came to his conclusion.
