122 Meanwhile Part 1

Mini POV - Days Ago June/22/2009

A day...it's been only a day since he left...Lea my lover.

I know he promised he'll come back but...still he has responsibility here like for example raising a daughter with me and helping me run a country.

Still he said he is a Guardian of Light so maybe he went to find a way to unlock his power...maybe I'm being selfish.

It only been a day I should trust him more than any normal person wouldn't do and yet he did that.

Mini: "Lea...wherever you are I know you're thinking of us I do too and you don't have to worry because this place will always welcome you back."

I mutter that I do trust him.

I mean he even brought me back from the dead if I stay dead...I don't think he'll still be himself even though our Wina-chan will always help him.

I couldn't bear thinking of a life without him...I love him dearly.

I checked my status screen to see if he was okay as I saw his HP was still full and his level was still the same.

Ever since I got this ability from Lea it has been helpful for me and everyone.

It helps us win a war that brings peace here.

Lea is truly amazing no...ultimate.

???: "Mommy?"

I snapped out of my thoughts as I saw my daughter.

She looked so precious just seeing her always reminded me of how me and Lea first met here and how she is a Holy Hero wielding the Legendary Fishing Rod.

Since she got that it helped her become stronger, possibly stronger than her own father but I think Lea is stronger than her given the fact how many times he surprised us of his power.

Mini: "Yes Wina-chan?"

I asked her as I saw how down she was.

Wina: "I know this is selfish to ask but when is daddy going to be back?"

She asked me very shamefully.

I know it has only been a day but Lea was truly someone we deeply love.

I know how she feels.

Mini: "Come here."

I open my arms as she walks and hug me as I comfort her.

I can hear her sniff of missing him.

Mini: "Wina you heard what daddy said right? He'll come back, remember when you thought he and I died? We both came back. He even faced death too. He'll always come back to us okay?"

I remember when he told me that I just really didn't think we both died then come back to life just like that.

Wina: "You're right mommy, daddy will come back, we just have to wait."

I smile.

Mini: "That's my girl...so how is your curse holding up?"

She took a look at her fishing rod then looked back at me.

Wina: "Good I can feel the curse slowly but almost gone and I better be careful not to use that death skill again or I will have to deal with the effects again for another month."

Hehe...like father and daughter.

Wina: "Hey can we go outside, you have been here for a while."

Mini: "Sure I need a break anyway."

We stood up as we exited the throne room.

I was glad to see Bella and David guarding the entrance as I tapped on their shoulder.

They both turned and saw me.

Bella: "Mini! I mean your highness!"

David: "Is something the matter? Something you need?"

They need to stop calling me 'her highness'.

It feels wrong when my friends say it.

Mini: "I wanted to go on a walk with my daughter if that's alright?"

They looked at Wina and they nodded.

Bella: "Sure you can do that, would you like to have us accompany you?"

Like always they are worried about me since becoming the emperor I had been made a target to any of the corruption that are left who are loyal to the previous minister so far I hadn't made anyone minister yet but I'm waiting at the right time to do that.

Even though we haven't seen them, most likely they are still in hiding even though this country is at peace it still has evil lurking.

Mini: "I would like to be happier with all my friends so please accompany me."

They smile as they see how happy she is in truth the both of them miss Lea even though he hadn't been gone for like a week it just wasn't the same without him.

Bella: "Do you think we should check the capital if anyone is causing problems? I mean we did active peace here but it's like Lea said nothing is really gone."

That right weeks before he left he said that to us the way he thought of it was when he lost people he loved since he told us the people helped him win the war he felt that they were still with him and that was true.

I checked the menu as I thought Lea did tell me that the general had a status screen but didn't have the ability to let others have it.

I mean her and Lea are in the same family though not blood type but as family but neither had power the other have.

Mini: "What a world we live in."

I mutter.

Wina: "Mommy you said something?"

I shook my head.

Mini: "Just thinking of something, don't worry about it."

Lea...If only we know how you're doing.

We exited the palace as the four of us took a walk.

I was thinking of visiting the orphanage.

It's been a while since I've been there.

Lea has been there a few times but I haven't.

We soon reach the orphanage god...it brought back so much memories the first time I show Lea to the kids and immediately they all hated him I kinda found it funny to see him trying to gain their trust but he gotten the kids trust plus it where he met his chibis Anna, Lucy, Drake and Evan I really miss them.

Wina opened the door as we all entered and like always the moment they saw us it became a gathering for the kids.

Everyone: "Big brother/sisters!"

Man I forgot how this feels.

Without Lea it would take only me to help him get out of the kids' graphs.

We spent half the day just getting to see how everyone feels as the chibis were doing fine.

They now do their own thing without being together which still frightens me of how this works.

Just seeing them made me think of Maci.

must be with Jaco and Lena back in the village.

They volunteer to stay there to watch over the place which we agree wonder how they are doing right now.

Seeing them really reminds me of when I used to take care of them but now I'm an emperor to think my life went here plus having to deal with the Waves which the next one in the capital will be in a week while the others are like two or three weeks away.

It got me thinking that Lea will have to fight all of these Waves.

It really shows me why he left to just deal with Waves all over the world.

He really got more responsibility than us going around the world to just fight the Waves.

Wait a minute to remind me if Wine is a Holy Hero then does that mean she has the same responsibility?

Mini: "Wina-chan."

She looked at me with a questionable look.

Mini: "Does your help menu say anything about fighting in the Waves?"

She looks at her Legendary Weapon as she opens the help menu to see as she looks at it as her eyes widen.

Wina: "It says that I'm one of the three Holy Heroes to save the world but...I'm part of three Heroes. I don't know who the other two are or that I shouldn't be here."

Mini: "Wina-chan what are you saying about you not being here."

Wina: "This Fishing Rod is not from this world but in another world that means I should have been there when I first got this weapon but for some reason I'm still here."

I was confused as I looked at Bella and David who were also confused.

Lea did say he didn't know much about being a Guardian of Light or a Holy Hero.

Bella: "So there are three Holy Heroes but was meant to be in another world?"

Wina: "Yes I'm just lucky to still be here."

David: "Maybe Lea might know something about your role. I mean his aunt Arya did know Lea's father was once the Katana Hero, maybe he was part of your team or something."

Wina: "Yeah they did tell me about that but she didn't say much so I don't think daddy knows and possibly I think they are only Guardians in his world so knowing Holy Heroes from him won't matter if it doesn't exist there."

Mini: "Yeah you have a point...if Lea was here he'll try to figure this out...and maybe...wait...what!?"

I was checking through the party menu of Lea's status as something changed.

His level was reset again!

It shocked me but at the same time confused because he told me that his Devil Mode II got everything reset and- wait, is that a fire icon next to his name?

I checked to see if I saw something that shocked me.

His title said he was a Guardian which meant he unlocked his power as a Guardian of Light.

Wina: "Mommy something is wrong?"

I'm somewhat smiling at this.

Mini: "Everyone Lea became Warrior he now an official Guardian of Light look at his status."

Everyone opened their menus to see as they saw it too.

They were shocked but at the same time happy that Lea is now a Guardian.

Wina: "Daddy is now a Guardian yay!"

Bella: "Huh guess he is something."

Then the kids started to ask us questions as we answered them.

It was when Lea is coming back as we said he'll come back someday but now that he is a Guardian he must have some way to come back well he did say the Guardians of Light are a mystery.

I just kept looking as I wondered what kind of weapon Lea has, like Wina, she has a Fishing Rod but for Lea I don't even know what kind of weapon he got now.

Mini: "Hey let's go to the village I want to see everyone today."

I really do want to be like we used to be during the corruption just being together seeing what our next mission will be working together.

I just think that I want to do that again but for the Waves but not all of us are here.

Lola went somewhere out of the country but she still sent letters she left a few hours after Lea left so we haven't heard anything about her but I guess that she must be following Lea.

What was surprising was that she just left with a note without even telling us and went on a boat ride that was sailing to the direction where Lea is heading.

Mini: "Hey do you think Lola might be looking after Lea."

I can only hear Bella sigh as we walk out the village with everyone including the chibis who wanted to come with us.

Bella: "She better or else why would she just leave all of a sudden I mean I can get Lea why but Lola there are reasons why she left other than looking after Lea."

Before she could say anything, something popped up on my screen as I looked at it.

Bella stopped talking as she looked at my screen as we both saw something.

Lea name...it is no longer there...just a shadow covering his name.

I try to see his status but nothing happens.

I see Bella trying to do the same as she couldn't as we both look at each other horrified.

David: "Something happened? Did something wro-"

David didn't finish his sentence as he saw Bella's status screen as his eyes widened.

Mini: "David...go tell Jaco that we need assistants, also take the chibis with you, Bella...come with me and Wina-chan stay close to me."

The two nodded as David ran to the village with the chibis as I, Bella and Wina ran back to the palace as Wina kept trying to ask me what was happening but I just told her to just stay close to me as we made it back.

The reason why is because Jaco gave me the hologram to contact Awin in case they wanted to make deals or something so getting a contact to him is a good time especially for something this important Lea status is not even there.

Wina: "Mommy! What's happening!?"

I let out a deep sigh as I looked at her.

Mini: "Lea...daddy status he is not there...it could mean...he is missing."

The moment I said that I can already see Wina is not even like herself because her eyes are blank.

Like if she lost him again.

I then saw the gem on her Fishing Rod glow.

I knew what that meant her Greed Series is acting up like Lea said it is dangerous I need to calm her down.

Mini: "Wina-chan don't lose control daddy don't want you to use your curse you think he'll allow you to?"

That seemed to work as her gem didn't glow anymore as she took a deep breath.

Wina: "Your right mommy, daddy wouldn't want me to lose control thanks for calming me down."

Mini: "You're my daughter, I have to look after you, it's my duty to do that."

I said as I hugged her as we comforted each other we knew Lea didn't want us to worry.

Mini: "We'll find him and we know he'll come back like he did last time. If he can do it, why can't he do it again."

She nodded knowing it was true as Bella tapped my shoulder as it got my attention.

Bella: "We need to contact him now the sooner we do that the faster we can find Lea's location."

I nodded as we reached the meeting room as the hologram was there.

I used it to contact Awin and after a few minutes he answered as she smiled to see me, Bella and Wina.

Awin: "Hey it's good to see everyone how you- wait your faces did something happen?"

He asks while in hologram form as I explain the situation as he was in shock and at the same time confused when I finish explaining he was in deep thought.

Awin: "Hmm Lea did tell me about this when he came here that he couldn't see his family or his friends names like if they are out of reach which was proof for him that he was in another world so he is definitely in another world right now but out of our reach."

So Lea did know this?

But why didn't he...wait he mentioned about the hourglass timer in his world it must have meant he can't use the Waves in this world here to come back!

Mini: "Damn!"

Bella: "Mini something happened?"

Mini: "Lea he told us the Waves in his world that the timer on his status screen wasn't there that he couldn't get teleported to the Waves back in his world not to mention...he stop the Waves there temporarily so...which means he needs to find another way to get back here or we have to find something that allows us to travel through worlds."

Bella: "But...! We don't know if we have anything here that can do that. The only teleportation we got is the hourglass but that can only teleport us to where the Waves are taking place at."

Suddenly Wina had an idea she didn't know if it would work but it was worth a shot.

Wina: "But if I can absorb the sand of the hourglass maybe I can unlock something there. Maybe a Fishing Rod that can allow me to travel anywhere is just a solution but it's something I haven't absorbed yet."

Right since the hourglass appeared I kept wondering why there's sand in the hourglass but since Wina can unlock different kinds of Fishing Rod with any type of materials maybe absorbing some of the sand might unlock a Fishing Rod that might be helpful.

Well she is a level 50 fishing woman so I guess she might have the level requirement to unlock something with the hourglass sand.

Mini: "Wina-chan go to the hourglass and...here take this it will inform the people there that you have permission to use the hourglass."

I said as I wrote down a royal degree that allows Wina to use the hourglass as she pleases.

Mini: "But remember daddy told you, do you remember the abilities of the hourglass?"

She nodded.

Wina: "Yes it can class-up anyone who is level 40, it can reset a person's level back to 1 and that it can teleport you to the area where the Waves are."

I smiled as I nodded.

She knew what the hourglass is capital of.

I don't want her to accidentally reset her level.

Mini: "Go see if you can find or unlock anything from the hourglass."

She nodded as she left the meeting room as I looked back at the hologram.

Awin: "Are you sure sending her to the hourglass is a good idea? Not that I'm complaining, it's just that she is an 11 year old child."

Mini: "I know what you mean Awin but she is the Legendary Fishing Rod Hero so I'm trusting her to see what she can find and to be honest she would rather do whatever it takes to find him."

Bella: "But won't she just leave without telling us?"

Since Wina heard about Lola left I had not doubt that she would do the same and that is why...

As if on cue Dada in her panda form came inside as she hopped on my shoulder I knew that I felt someone was eavesdropping on us.

Dada: "Sorry Mini it just I couldn't help but hear Lea is missing."

She told me as I heard her voice in worry and seriousness.

Mini: "It alright Dada as in matter of fact I'm glad you did, can you make sure Wina-chan doesn't use her Fishing Rod of Greed in case she found nothing I don't want her to go on another rampage plus I'm speaking with Awin right now."

Dada saluted as she hopped off my shoulder.

Lea did ask her to watch over her so she had no objection to not watching her.

As she did, I looked at Bella.

Mini: "Go check to see if everyone else is here. I want to make sure we all have eyes."

She nodded as she too left with only me and Awin.

Mini: "Awin can you help to see if anything happened because the boat he was on was heading to your country."

Awin: "I can help you Lea is my friend plus the boat that was supposed to be here for a few days had somehow been delayed for unknown reason. Maybe whatever happens out there might be connected to Lea's disappearance."

Wait the boat he was on delay but Awin doesn't know why there are reasons but we need to find the boat to confirm the reasons.

Mini: "Do you think we should use the boats to see what happens to the boat?"

Awin: "No you stay Mini I will gather my group to find the ship. I don't think letting you come to find any clues about this besides you got a country to look after and that you and I both know we can't let corruption happen again."

I really wanted to argue but he did have a point.

This country had suffered from corruption for a few years and it took a few abilities just to overrun the minister who was the root of all of this.

Mini: "Lea..."

I started to lose my cool as Awin took notice of this.

Awin: "Everything is going to be okay Mini this is Lea we are talking about I'm sure he is looking for anyway just to come back to us so it is not surprising if he is in another world that he was already in this world."

I smiled as I remember the first time I met him and that I really didn't know much about him then now we are in a relationship as well having a daughter.

Mini: "Yeah he first traveled to this world, we just have to believe in him just to come back. He made a promise after all and he never broke his promise."

The number of promises he made is the interesting fact that he never breaks them.

He really cares for everyone even though on the inside he is like a monster but not truly one.

It is just that he has a curse that stuck with him.

I know he is the same boy I fell in love with.

Mini: "I'll leave you to it then Awin make sure to call me back when you find anything."

He nodded.

Awin: "I'll make sure that we won't miss anything, we'll find out why he went missing and I hope your daughter will find anything."

I nodded as he ended the call as I looked at the door as I knew he was out there somewhere as I started to pray hoping that he was alright and that he had help on his side.

Mini: "Please stay safe Lea...I don't know how me or everyone would do if you won't come back."

I tear came out of her eye as she wiped it off as she waited for everyone else.
