18 Heated Morning

Next day, Shen Wei wake up first with the early sunrise, finding himself back in the old temple and resting half his body over Yulan's chest, with his legs intertwined with his lover under the sleeping bag. Yunlan have one arm over his back and waist while the other was resting over his left arm, which was over his chest. His first instinct was to move his head up to kiss Yunlan's shin, but as he heard the steady beats of his heart, he closed his eyes again and just enjoyed having him close for one more minute.

He felt a little drained, but he was certainly in better shape than the previous day in which he fainted after overusing his energy. He guessed that the Lóng Hún brought them back after all demons were killed and perhaps heal him too, because he felt no more pain on his arm and the pain had been intense when he was ambush by several demons at the same time.

"Yunlan..." Shen Wei whisper after a few minutes of been lullaby by his heart, fearing he will fall asleep again and Yunlan moved under the cover to pull him closer, caressing his hair, making Wei smile, because even asleep Zhao was always sweet to him.

"Yunlan..." He repeated and this time, Zhao open his eyes to look at him.

"Mmm, Shen Wei... it's so good to wake up and see your lovely face by my side first thing in the morning, not to mention having you in my arms like this. I honestly hope that after we finish with this ordeal, we can still share our lives this way. I had done well with my company over the years, so I can buy a house for us near your University, if you so wish it. Will you come and live with me? I promise I will treat you like the warrior prince you are and of course, I will satisfy all your hot desires whatever in dreams or in reality." Zhao casually asked, making Shen Wei blush really hard in one go, as his heart raced like never before.

"Seriously... aren't you afraid that you will give me a heart attack with all this teasing? I wonder just how much more I can take, if all you will do is tease me like this. I feel like melting right now... and I doubt that you are even an inch sorry for it." Yunlan smiled, kissing the tip of his red nose.

"You know me so well already... but babe, I'm not teasing you. I truly mean for you to stay with me, for you to share your heart, body and soul with me, in whatever house you prefer, yours, mine or ours. We already know that we were lovers in who knows how many past lives, so why not in this one too? I promise you, I'm the faithful type, I don't cheat on my partners and I love you so dearly already, I can't imagine my life without you on it."

"Of course... if you are still unsure, I can peruse you like a foolish love sick kid for as long as you need me to convince you I'm your soulmate. Oh... I can even enroll in all your classes and wink at you every time you gaze my way and in your office hours, I can buy you lunch, bring it to your office and try my best to steal a very heated kiss from you and..." By then Shen Wei was simply too hot in the face to hear more.

"Please, enough... yes, you know the answer to that question will always be yes..." Shen said more embarrassed than never before, his heart already trying to escape his chest and more so when Yunlan kissed him in such passionate way. With all honesty, he wonder if he could survive even a month with someone that make his pulse rise faster that he could blink and with only a few teasing words. How did he manage in past lives was beyond his wildeset imagination.

"Yunlan... remember... we are not alone..." Shen Wei whisper.

"Yeah... I know..." He said, giving him another kiss, yet this time a quick one.

"Still, if he could, he will keep you there for an eternity..." Lóng Hún said from the hollow door, making Shen Wei even redder.

"That's why I have your team under induced sleep, otherwise Lord Shen would had meltdown already and he is needed back in Dragon City, as well to restore the seal. Today we deal with the tower, which will not be easy, so it will be best if Lord Shen had another infusion of energy in the healing waters... but Lord Kunlun, no more teasing or try to seduce him, because I will be there to stop you."

"Another infusion? Healing waters? Wasn't you the one who heal me after I fainted?" Shen Wei asked in confusion as he sat.

"Of course not babe... I have you on my lap for hours inside some kind of thermal bath." Shen remained red faced.

"However, not this time. He is fully conscious now, just wake up the others, they will need the extra energy too." And after a few minutes, they divided in three groups, males, females and past lovers. Apparently there were several healing baths in the temple, so it was no problems for the three groups to bathe in the waters at the same time.

"Ah, this is much better than the cold water he force us to bathe yesterday." Lin said as he relaxed, siting in one corner. It felt like heaven to his aching muscles.

"Yep... the damn dragon is quite mean. He could had thrown us in here instead and we had to swim such a distance too. Stupid dragon..." Chu said closing his eyes and submerging on the water, to clean his short hair. Gou, who sat close by, agree while nodding. He had blushed almost as bad as Shen Wei when Chu took off his shirt and turned when the rest of his clothes follow, but he blamed it on the heat from the warm water.

"So... the Chief and the professor are lovers now?" Da Qing asked as he played with the soothing water, which glowed and sparkle with the light of the torches. They all have some tingly sensations as the healing powers worked over their tired bodies.

"Why ask for what's obvious? You know his luck, I pity Shen Wei, he is in for eternal embarrassment." Chu said.

"Then what about you, are you and the kid an item too?" Da Qing asked, enraging the older man and almost giving Guo a heart attack.

"Watch your tongue you lazy cat." Chu warned him, but Guo was blushing more now. He couldn't deny he felt some kind of connection with him.

"But he is blushing as much as the professor. I pity you too kid... stay away from his grasp. He even called you little bunny... you will definitely become his prey." Lin said, just before Chu splashed him with some water, which he returned in full and soon, the bath turned into a splash tournament as Da Qing and Sang joined in, not even Guo escaping the tidal waves. Then, in another bath...

"Do you think this will end well? You have the six sense and all of this is so... unnatural. It's like we are inside a fantasy movie." Wang laughed.

"To be honest, I don't know how this will end, only that is necessary to happen, so the world can remain as it is. The times of the gods were hard ones, because many conflicts born at the beginning of times." She said as she combed her wet hair.

"So the Chief was truly a former god, as the dragon explained to us last night when we go exploring?" Zhu asked.

"It must be true... the beads he gave the professor held enormous power and we all know he make them when he was younger. Da Qing even watched him as he craft them and none of what is happening now comes from simple humans. None of us knew we were in fact legendries guardians." Zhu smiled.

"Yeah... and we even get paid for it in this era." Wang smiled.

"Indeed and quite well."

"It's such a shame the Chief likes men." Zhu said sighing.

"What are you sighing for? Don't think I didn't notice you and the idiot holding hands, just because you were mad at me. You and Lin Jing are more than what meets the eye." Zhu blushed unexpectedly.

"Yunlan!" Shen Wei said, as the energy he was gathering was released, causing a huge splash that pour more water over them, like a shower.

"Marriage between men had been forbidden by human laws in most countries, Zhao Yunlan. Please behave..." Long Hun said as he removed his long hair, which was now pasted to his face, thanks to the teasing fool.

"Unfair human laws... by the way, can you explain to me why Shen Wei is getting so strong while I remain more of less the same? I honestly wish I can help him more."

"You are helping me enough Yunlan, don't make yourself less than what you really are."

"Ah, he is so lovely, how can I behave when he is this perfect?" Shen try to concentrate again, although his face was still quite hot.

"Yes, after he fall in love with you at first sight, when he was only a kid, he help you hunting down his own kind which became too wicked to share the earth with the suffering humans, but he born in the darkest part of this country, many said he was the manifestation of rage itself, because all ghosts born from the gathering of humans emotions."

"However, he repressed and deny his own nature, as his heart grow to be a kind one. Because of what he was in the beginning of time, Shen Wei had always been able to see beyond and although his sense decreased with time, it did not disappear completely. That's why he can see better at night and was aware of the tower. Been surrounded by ghosts since childhood, only keep that awareness stronger, which make him wake his powers more easily than you to awake yours."

"So, will they wake up at some point?"

"That will depends. I dare to say that some of them will come back to you while we seal back the tower, of how strong, it will depends on your need. If Lord Shen's life is in danger, for example, you may wake up fully, if he remains safe, then you may wake up only partially."

"Alright, let's just hope there is no need for me to fully awake..." Zhao whisper, as he slightly moved his hand on Shen Wei's back, sending shivers down his spine.

"I agree, let's just pray you remain a fool..." And another wave of water pasted his long hair over his face, but this time it was Yunlan's doing.

"Yunlan!" ShenWei reproach him.

"My bad babe..."

"Like I said, a fool..." Lóng Hún whisper as the idiot laughed at him.
