Everyone Has Their Purpose

"" - dialogue

There were two monsters in the darkness. One was sitting on a large stone and the other was standing in front of it. A faint orange light illuminated them, driving away the impenetrable darkness of the ocean floor. From the cracks in the ground, steam appeared, formed by the collision of water with lava. Silence filled everything around. It felt as if the ocean itself was watching these monsters, waiting for their battle.

None of them moved. They looked into each other's eyes, waiting for the opponent to make his first move. It was clear to each of them what would happen next. The only thing was that their first steps were different from each other.

Kaiju felt that he could not defeat the beast in front of him and therefore he wanted to escape from him at a favorable opportunity. It had a long tail and a smooth flowing body. His speed underwater was many times higher than that of his opponent. Despite this, he (or the aliens who controlled him) were not afraid to fight back. He had something to surprise his opponent.

Torterra, for his part, sat with a scowl on his face, staring at the ugly monster in front of him. He mentally reached for his ax and prepared to grab it at any second. His eyes looked at the Kaiju, and he received the gaze of dozens of monster eyes in return. What happens next will be swift and brutal, and at the end of this fight one will die and the other will continue to stand with his head held high.

Torterra's muscles tensed little by little, and his expression grew increasingly angry. From the look on his enemy's face, the Kaiju subconsciously knew when it would all begin. And a second before Torterra started to move, he quickly jumped to the side, his tail moving wildly. He was like a snake swimming swiftly in the water.

The titan didn't sleep. As soon as the Kaiju moved, he quickly reached for his ax and grabbed it with one hand, leaping forward himself to intercept the Kaiju. He moved forward, his hand dragging the ax behind him, raising it above his head. When the ax was already above his head, he grabbed it with both hands and with all his strength began to bring it down on the Kaiju who was just swimming in front of him.

AAARRRR

The titan shouted as he used all of his strength for this strike. But do not underestimate the speed of Kaiju underwater. Seeing the enemy's weapons hanging above him, ready to fall upon him, he used all his strength to escape.

Torterra held the ax with both hands as it fell on the enemy. The handle of the ax creaked in pain as it was squeezed, but it moved quickly, slicing through the water. At some point the water changed to flesh and blood, but after the flesh and blood there was solid stone.

BOOOM

There was an explosion and the rock at the bottom of the ocean split open and exploded. The ax went into the ground, sinking its blade completely into the ground.

Blue blood filled the ocean, and a long, worm-like thing floated aimlessly in the water, continuing to move from side to side, seemingly oblivious to the fact that it had lost its owner.

SSKKREEEE

A cry of pain echoed through the water, but the Kaiju didn't stop, continuing to move hysterically forward, even without its tail, leaving a blue streak of blood behind. He headed forward without looking back because he also had eyes on his back. He could see everything that was happening behind him, so he swam as if his life depended on it.

In front of him was a wall of stone that had to be climbed to get out of this gorge with the portal. So, swimming up to the wall, he stretched out his hands and grabbed hold of the stones and began to climb to the top, redoubled his speed.

Torterra also wasted no time and pulled the ax out of the ground. He held the ax in both hands and raised it above his head again, but this time not to strike with it, but to throw the axe.

ARRR

With a scream, he threw the ax forward. It was difficult to throw anything underwater, but his strength and the weight of the ax was able to overcome the resistance of the water. The ax headed towards the Kaiju, constantly spinning and slicing through the water.

BOOOM

The ax did not hit the Kaiju, because he saw everything and was able to dodge this attack, but the ax hit the rock completely breaking it. The rock split and began to crumble, throwing huge blocks of stone at the Kaiju.

SKKREEEE

The monster let out a disgruntled cry as it began to be pelted with stones. As he screamed in anger, his lower jaw split into many pieces, revealing his hideous mouth filled with small and sharp teeth. It looked like an insect with many extra pincers near its mouth.

The Titan wasted no time and swam to the Kaiju. This second was enough for him to catch up with him. But the Kaiju didn't even turn in his direction. The spikes on his back straightened and began to glow with a neon blue light.

In the next moment, these spikes shot out at Torterra with extreme speed. The titan reacted in time and covered his face with his hand just before the spikes hit him.

AARRHHHH

He cried out in pain as some of the spikes pierced his skin and went deep into his arm. The rest of the spikes that hit his armor stuck only half a meter without causing any discomfort.

The Kaiju threw off the stones and continued to climb to the top of the cliff. Just when he thought he was out of here at the top, he felt something grab his leg and pull him back sharply.

GRREEE

He screamed with anger because he understood that everything was over for him. He could not escape. But he had no intention of giving up. Turning around, he hit at his enemy's face. This punch was not strong enough because his leg continued to be held and he did not have a good footing to hit with his full weight.

This blow was not strong enough to stop Torterra from his actions. Lowering the Kaiju to the bottom, he reached with his left hand for the ax that was falling with the stones. Catching the ax before it hit the ground, he immediately swung it back at the monster lying at his feet. Swinging his ax, he swung it at the head of the Kaiju in a swift motion, who was scratching his body with his claws, trying to break free.

GGGREEEEE

KRREEKK

After a short cry of despair, everything fell silent. Silence returned to the bottom of the ocean, and it seemed that those dramatic seconds of battle had never happened. The only evidence of the crime that took place here was the corpse of a Kaiju with an ax sticking out of his head. Blue blood slowly filled the watery space, giving this scene an even more terrifying appearance.

The titan standing over the corpse didn't move either. After a few seconds of silence, he stepped on the Kaiju's body and pulled the ax out of his head. After waving it several times to wash the blue blood from her, he slammed it down on the ground.

BOOM

The ax stuck in the ground. Letting go of the ax handle, Torterra began to shed the spikes that protruded from his chest armor. Dropping them, he pulled out the spikes that were in his arm.

AARRH

A short cry of annoyance and pain escaped his lips as he pulled out the spikes. The tips of these spikes were like harpoons, so it was very difficult to pull them out. His blood began to flow from the wound, so he fired some fire at the wound to cauterize the blood.

That fight was over, and that fight was his statement. Torterra raised his ax and pointed it in the direction of the portal.

'Show me what you are capable of!' With that phrase in his mind, he lowered his ax and went to pick up the Kaiju's corpse. If the aliens could send someone strong, they would have done it already. As long as they were limited by something, they were no longer to be feared. Even if they sent a Category 5 Kaiju to earth, Torterra was confident that he would be able to handle him.

The power of the Kaiju was no longer a threat to Torterra. He became bigger and heavier than them. The only problem might be their weapons. But not all of them had effective weapons. The acid kaiju was something to watch out for, but the rest aren't that scary...

He took the Kaiju's corpse and his tail. As he was about to take the ax in his teeth to sail to the island, he looked at it and noticed that the handle of the ax was bent. He hit this ax only a few times, and it was already bent. Despite its weight, there were air bubbles inside the ax. This was to be expected because he worked with metal with his bare hands.

If he had a hammer and an anvil, he could do his work much better. By hitting the metal with a hammer, it was possible to squeeze out all the air and impurities from it. It should also not be forgotten that ships are not made of only one type of metal. Therefore, his ax was not strong enough, it contained both aluminum and steel.

'I will have to buy normal metal and rework the axe.' Thinking this, he swam to the island. He had to hold the Kaiju in one hand and his tail in the other. He held the ax in his teeth, so his swimming speed was very slow.
