Chap. 12

"Key, we've been here for hours but none of them caught our attention..not one!"

Looking to your left, he seems to be in deep thought. Rolling your eyes, you shook his shoulders.

"Hello? Earth to Key?.. The almighty Key?"

His eyes blinking rapidly, means that he's back.

"Oh, what? Sorry. I was just thinking.."

"Someone?" You quickly cut him off, follow by a smirk.

"No silly. Since when do I have someone to think of?"

You grin, batting your eyelashes innocently.

"You wanna drink?"

He offers when a cafe come into view. You nod in response and both of you take a seat from one of the tables.

After putting the bags (sling bag), you about to go order, but Key hold you.

"Sit tight. My treat"

Your lips curved into a smile. He makes his way towards the counter and mumble something to the waiter.

Pulling your iPhone out, you decided to open your Instagram. While you scroll the feeds, you notice there's a guy in the corner of the cafe.

Apparently, he's actually a good looking guy. With that blonde hair of his which kinds of messy, but that's what making him look hot.

His eyes which like piercing through your soul, his jawline.. His sharp jawline made him look like a Greek god.

Trying not to be obvious, you stay in that position for a few minutes. But your eyes betray you. The balls in your eyes wandered where he sat.

And you caught him staring at you. You expect him to look away, instead his eyes just trained on you.

You felt blood rushing to your face which made your cheeks flushed into reds of tomato. Regaining your conscious, you look back to the screen.

"Berry juice, amor"

A drink was put in front of you.

"Thanks Key! Where did you know I love berry juice?"

After taking his seat beside you, he roll his eyes.

"Like seriously, _____? The moment I step inside your house, I can already see bottles of berry juice systemized on the table"

You giggled slightly hearing his statement. Sipping your drink, a pure bliss of pleasantness made you forget about everything.

The sweetness of the berry just...erh, wonderful.

Just as you enjoying the drink, Key poke you and made you shriek.

"Chill girl! What's wrong with you?"

"Sorry..I am ticklish" you said. He nod.

"Hey, see that guy over there?" He points where the guy whom stares at you sat. You follow where he's pointed.

"Yes. Why?"

He turned to you

"Why? Is that even a question? Seriously, _____. He is super hot and obviously staring at you and not me, and you ask me WHY?"

You chuckled the way he mentioned 'not me'.

"Yes, why? He's so not my type"

When you said that, Huggy Wind hugged your waist. You smiled.

"Ergh. What's with you, girl? If I were you, I would've snatch him first"

A laugh burst out of you.

"Oh look! He's coming here!"

You immediately look up. He make his way to your table.

"Is this seat taken?"

His husky voice made you somewhat chill. Made you feel...afraid in some way.

"No, not at all!"

Key happily replied. He sit in front, facing you both with his devilish smile.

"How're you?"

"Great"

The guy turn his gaze to Key.

"I asked her, not you. But thanks for the reply"

You could see Key clenched his jaw. Grasping his hand under the table, you can feel him relaxing.

"Fine" You said.

"Care to introduce?" Key snapped. He seems taken back with Key's attitude but he manage to keep smiling.

A low growl was heard, made you flinch, but then, you relaxed a bit when Huggy Wind comforts you.

"Sorry for my bad side"

He hold out his hand to Key which Key shakes them in return, then to you.

"Your name miss?"

You cleared your throat.

" _____ "

"Ahh, ____, Key. Apologize for me being rude just now"

Both you and Key look at each other.

"Apology accepted" you both say in unison.

"What's your name then?" You asked.

Instead of answering your question, he stare at you for the moment.

"Kris. Kris Wayland"
