Turning right at the crossroad, Keith was well underway, wondering what job they would hit.. he had seen some major banks in the area, but nothing to warrant it being called big by their standards..
If he had to guess then it would be the biggest in the area, that being the Union Depository.. but would they really… Keith stopped pondering, he knew that they were crazy enough to do something like that…
Turning the corner and looking for a place to park, Keith saw Lester getting out of a cab in front of the strip club. Roling down his window Keith yelled..
"Lester, wait up.." Lester turned around Looking at Keith who had parked his car immediately after shouting…
Getting out, he made a small sprint, catching up to Lester..
"So Lester.. how have you been.." They hadn't seen each other in some time, so Keith simply wanted to know how the big dealer in town was doing…
"Well the stock market is calming down a little, still have a construction guy I want gone, but depending on how it happens we can keep our business venture going." Lester clearly saw the underlying meaning with Keiths words, only talking about business while they entered the club..
"That's good to hear.. so what is left after this…" Music was playing in the backround drowning out their talk from outer people's ears..
"What do you mean.." Lester moved along not minding the exotic dancer that had just walked by him..
"Well. Michael is planning on calling it quits, and without him there is not really a crew…. I mean Franklin and Trevor make up a great team, but for most things three ain't enough." Keith looked into the girls eyes, as she gave him a wink.. moving along with Lester, while planning on visiting here again in his free time..
"You don't have to tell me.. After this kind of score we will keep low for a while.. you understand how it works right.." They entered the privet rooms immediately after entering the door to the back of the strip club..
Moving through the area with the locker rooms, Keith watched a girl who had just finished putting on her make up leave for the stage.. preparing herself mentally before striding to the pole..
"Yeah. I am not new.." They had arrived at the office in the back of the strip club, with Keith opening the door to allow Lester entry..
"So what is going on anyway?" Keith could hear Franklins voice coming from the room.. as he entered behind Lester..
"What's going on, is the big one.. A long, long time ago, there were three guys.. me Trevor and Michael.." Lester was interrupted by Trevor…
"and Brad." Michael and Lester let slip a awkward expression on their face, clearly showing that they knew something about Brad..
"Yes, he was there sometimes as well, not to mention others we have worked with… so eh.. anyway. We robbed and lied, we hurt people… pretty much a low life kind of existence.. But always dreaming of one thing and one thing only…" Lester stopped looking at the two who knew what was going on..
"..The big one." Trevor sounded exited even doing a dramatic overview of how big it was..
"The big one." Michael a bit less, but still being ten times his usual depressing self..
"The big one!" The three of them shouted with excitement
"What is the big one?" The only one that hadn't figured it out asked
"The union depository.." Michael explained.. as Lester continued..
"Around two hundred million in gold bricks, all taken from kindly uncle Sam, we will spend the rest of our lives being hunted down by government officials, if we life through the attempt.. But.." Keith knew what Lester, meant.. he wasn't save on the east side of America, just because a former friend had ratted him out
"But!" Trevor repeated..
"It will be my.. our masterpiece.." Lester looked a bit ashamed with his words choice.. clearly seeing it as his achievements more than a group effort.
"So what is the plan?" Keith asked, interrupting something Lester was about to say..
"Huh.." he was clearly thrown off, not expecting questions at the end of his speech
"You did already prepared something right?" Keith had high expectations of Lester, he was the main networker of the group, the fence.. if he didn't have at least part of a plan then he was wilfully unprepared..
"Well yes of course.. I and Trevor will be going to view everything from above while you go explore a construction site near the depository.. Michael and Franklin will watch the entrances from the ground formulate a plan.." Lester went over everything in quick succession, clearly wanting to move…
"Alrighty then.. lets go." He now knew at least where he was headed, knowing something like that was handy before getting into the driver seat..
"Yes, lets go find some gainful employment!." Lester let them to the exit, gleefully exited to start the operation..
Keith put a earpiece on, connecting to the rest of the crew as they walked..
["Alright people we are on a tight schedule here so lets get a move on.. me and Trevor will scout out the rout the security vans will be taking and looking for any possible hijack points, we are going to his airfield in Blaine County and coming back with his chopper to intercept.."] While Lester was talking Keith was looking at his map, looking for possible entry points with his car… the rout they had taken in the jewel store heist still existed, but that would be difficult with a car to pull of..
["Michael, Franklin all you got to do is measure the temperature, get a feel, see if anything stands out.. Now Keith.. like I said go to the construction site next to the depository.. I need some photo's taken and measurements made.."] Keith had finished planning his route.. he would park close to the entrance they had used in the jewel store job and walk the rest of the way..
He let the communication channel on as he drove, not hearing anything for a while as everyone seemed to be driving..
Parking the car and getting out Keith could hear Michaels voice coming over the channel..
["We are done here.. what about you T.."] Michael seemed to have quickly completed his task, with Keith only now getting his car parked..
["Well we getting there.."] Keith didn't mind the idle chatter on the channel, as long as he wasn't tasked with doing something more..
Compared to the other two team, Keith had it the easiest.. he didn't have a timer or have to be in plain sight, he just needed to capture some photo's from a construction sight.. that was for as far as he knew, mostly set on hold..
Walking down into the construction sight, Keith grabbed his phone and started taking pictures.. one from the entrance, one from the exit, and one from the hole in the roof.. he would need to do some measurements and get some other pictures, but he was already mostly done..
["I got a view on the convoy.."] Apparently time was passing rapidly, as Trevor reporting in meant that it was already five thirty.. the measurements he needed were done.. and Keith was planning to leave soon..
["Stay on them T, you don't want to lose sight of them.."] Michaels voice responded to Trevor, as Keith climbed back up to the entrance of the construction site..
"I am coming back up, got the photo's we need.. do we need anything else?" Keith hoped for a no.. but he wasn't a psychic…
["Could you look into pathing out a rout from the entrance of the Depository?"] Lester seemed to plan on going a aggressive rout.. something Keith didn't mind, but something he wanted to be as good of a plan as possible..
Failing in New York had caused him some bad memories with getting into a Depository, wilfully unprepared..
"Are we planning on going head on? Because that is suicide.."
["No, of course not we are looking in to creating a distraction from the response team.."] Keith couldn't believe Lesters words, they would still need to fight of the security forces even if there was a distraction..
"I can deal with the response team for a while.. but depends on how long it takes for us to get in.." Something shot to mind as he thought of fighting the security.. in his last bank job in NYC his crew had a signal jammer, that worked wonders, only problem they faced was getting into the bank.. with failed, resulting in the death of many friends and the loss of one due to betrayal.
["What do you got?"] Lester sounded intrigued by his proposition, likely realising that just sending in some guys to create a ruckus wasn't the smartest plan..
"The response team signal can be blocked by a transmitter.. we just need the right frequency and it can hold of the response team for a while.."
["Since when do you have such a thing?"] Franklin sounded surprised to hear that not only was he somewhat excluded from knowing what was going on between Micheal and Trevor, he was also excluded from knowing Keith's past..
"Well as you know I flet New York.. after a job busted.. we were using the signal to jam the response team from coming, but we couldn't enter the bank fault due to other problems.." Keith knew the device worked, it was probably the only reason why he and one other even managed to escape..
["That's news to me."] Franklin was clearly upset about being left in the dark about most things..
"I wasn't planning on spreading it.. you know a fresh start.. its not like I have been that secretive about it.. just not really open on it…" Keith just didn't like talking about it.. there were regrets in the life he left behind and he wasn't planning on talking them out any time soon..
The betrayal of his crew mate was understandable, but at the same time a blow in the gut.. Now he would be either in witness protection or at some government facility until they had caught him..
["What is it with you guys hiding your past and shit.. I thought there was trust between us?"] Keith understood how it must have felt for Franklin, he knew that there was something between Trevor and Michael, but he knew that their field of expertise caused them to naturally not discuss it…
To him, it was logical for criminals to hide their past, as to not be caught.. they were no captains of a ship.. and sinking wasn't something anyone wanted..
"Just come by if you want to talk about it… maybe we can even hear about Trevor's and Michaels history some more.." Keith was done talking about his past.. he was willing to share it, but thinking of the weasel that sold him out.. caused him to heat up and look for a way out..
["We will do it after the score.. Alright?"] Michael voiced his opinion, likely not wanting to cause tension in the crew before their big score..
His chose seemed to be that of least resistance.. with the tensions this high.. they could either talk it out of keep it boiling… until it would boil over.. Keith would manage, but he wasn't sure about the rest.. Trevor hadn't talked about his view point, but Keith was sure he still had some issues with Michael..
The communication channel seemed to have gone quite, as everything was still in progress.. they couldn't simply stop because of some minor dispute.. Keith had walked to his car, getting in and relaxing for a bit, until Michael began to talk..
["I am picking up the cars.. they are right on time… looks like we will need some kind of ID's.. you can handle that right Lest?"] Michael reported from within his car, as he looked over the two security trucks that came to the entrance..
["I can handle some ID's"] Lester seemed somewhat annoyed, maybe the flight with Trevor wasn't as convertible as he had hoped, or the discussion on the communication channel had been something he didn't want to be a part of..
With the trucks entering the building everyone was done.. Keith who had already finished his part was in his car.. deciding to not go to the race, because of his soured mood..
