867 Sweet Quibble between Lovebirds

Nian Xi was cursing Xiao Si in her mind.

He didn't need to drag her down just to mediate the situation.

But she smiled and added, "Su does look nicer than me. I might look nicer in the dress if I was less tan. Thanks for the compliment Liuxi. I know you didn't want me to feel uncomfortable."

Mo Liuxi replied, "No, I was telling the truth."

Nian Xi, "…"

Xiao Si, "…"

They both didn't know what to say. 

They wondered what grievances Yan Su and Mo Liuxi had with each other. 

Yan Su smiled gently. "It's okay. Everyone has a different standard of beauty."

She was insinuating that Mo Liuxi didn't have a high standard for beauty. 

Mo Liuxi read in between the lines. He could have ignored her comment but instead added, "Some people can only take compliments. It's not a desirable trait to have."

Yan Su blushed and glared at him.
