859 It Tastes Better When You Feed Me

Jiang Yuning looked elated. He pulled aside a chair by the dining table and looked at Nian Xi expectantly. 

Nian Xi was flattered. He knew how to be polite.

After she took her seat, Jiang Yuning sat down beside her. 

They barely had to wait before the kitchen staff served their food. It was a plate of vegetables and green beans. The chef then brought them two bowls of rice.

Jiang Yuning handed her a pair of chopsticks. Nian Xi was a little surprised as he quickly dug into the food. 

She waited a while for the chef to leave them, wondering if he was going back to the kitchen to get more food.

Nian Xi was still stunned when she asked Uncle Han, "That's all he eats?"

"Our mister doesn't like meat," Uncle Han said helplessly. "Madam Jiang is vegetarian as well. He's been used to this diet since he was young."
