Luosang and Nian Junting were arguing over the phone.

"Did I?"

"Yeah, you used to so often attack me with your words."

"I never meant to hurt you," Nian Junting replied meaningfully, "I just let out the truth by mistake."

Can you please not blurt out the truth so frequently? Luosang thought.

"But… if you don't like that way I spoke to you in the past, then I will change. I will only shower you with words of affirmation from now on," he said.

Luosang felt a gush of warmth wash over her heart as she mulled over what he had just promised. Her cheeks were hot and red. Did he have to be so cheesy?

She had classes later. How was she supposed to concentrate now?

"I know you're going to stay at the library til 4:20pm today. I'll come to pick you up. Don't reject me again. I'll leave you alone for now. Have a good time at your lessons, bye."
