4 Chapter 4: Family

I don't know if I really fucked up the timeline on this chapter but I'm guessing I did fuck it up sooooo... deal with it.

A few months had passed ever since Sister Lily started working in the church.

Sister Lily got closed to everyone at the church especially Titus who was very sweet and kind to her.

Currently, Sister Lily and the others along with Titus are currently in a Hill resting under a tree, Recca was sleeping, Titus, Yuno, Asta was currently eating 'Sister Lily's' Tatoes. Though it may look like it's good, it's...

"It's hard..." Yuno muttered under his breath while trying to bite into the Tatoes.

Asta, however, was... "That's our Sister Lily. You're such an amazing cook!" trying to flatter her.

It was clear from his expression that he can't even take a bite from that rock hard food. Asta then looked at Sister Lily and continued. "When I grow up, will you marry me and cook for me?"

"Hmm... It's hard, and it's not even good. So stop your flattery. It's creeping me out." Titus said while looking disdainfully at Asta.

When Asta heard Titus he was angry as Titus insulted his love's cooking."Titus! You bastard! Take it back!" Asta roared at Titus.

However, Titus didn't even glance at Asta as he looked at Sister Lily and said while smiling cutely. "Well, I prefer your cooking better, Sister Lily."

Sister Lily who heard Titus' words was immediately moved and said. "Ara! Titus-kun you're such a sweet boy!" she said while hugging Titus.

Titus who was being hugged by Sister Lily glanced at Asta who was dumbfounded and smirked.

Sister Lily who noticed Asta's expression looked at him and said while smiling after letting go of Titus. "It was Father who baked those Tatoes. Would you like to marry him?"

Asta who heard her words finally snapped back to reality and began to throw tantrum. "No! You're the one I wanna marry! Sister! Marry me! Marry me! Marry me! Marry me! Marry me! Marry me! Marry me! Marry me!"

Sister Lily who was looking at Asta throwing a fit brought out her Grimoire which made him behave himself.

Seeing this scene Titus and Yuno looked at each other and started to giggle.

Soon they all started to laugh and time passes until Sister Lily notices that the sun was starting to set and decided to head back to the church first along with Recca and Nash, not before warning Titus, Asta, Yuno to go back home before it gets too late.

After Sister Lily left Titus watched Asta and Yuno playing with each other as he couldn't help to smile seeing them so happy.

After a while, Yuno and Asta decided to go home and they asked Titus to go home with them. But, Titus answered that he still has something to do... He forgot to train. He promised to go back before it gets too dark though.

After seeing them leaving Titus ran to the woods and started training.

Leaving Titus, Yuno and Asta started running back to the church. It was clear that Asta is better than Yuno in this kind of things as Yuno tripped and almost started crying. However, Asta helped him get back up and started running back to the church.

After reaching the church they saw Sister Lily waiting for them.

"Sister Lily!" Asta called out Lily.

Lily who was starting to get worried about them took a breath of relief as she glared at them and reprimanded them.

"Mou! Why did the two of you to take so long? And where is Titus?"

Recca who was on her side just smiled wryly while looking at the two of them.

"Hehehe. Sorry, Sister Lily, We didn't notice the time. And about Titus, he said that he will be back a little later!" Yuno said while laughing wryly.

Just when Sister Lily was about to think of Titus' punishment when he goes home, they noticed Father walking towards them.

Father saw them and called them. "Hi there. I was wondering if one of you would run an errand for me."

Asta who heard his words was immediate. "Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me!" like that...

The Father ignored as he continued to walk to them when he suddenly asked. "Hmmm? Where is Titus?"

He wanted Titus to run the errand for him but that isn't possible if he wasn't here...

Sister Lily who heard the Father answered his question with a worried tone. " *sigh* We are still currently waiting for him, Father. I hope he's doing fine..."

"He better be..." Asta muttered under his breath while gritting his teeth, he still hasn't forgotten what happened earlier.

"Now that's a problem... I would be in peace if Titus were the one to do it... but it seems like he's not here yet." Father said, then he looked at Yuno and continued. "Oh! Yuno! why don't you deliver this letter for me? It's for the mayor!"

Yuno who heard him, looked at him with his eyes shining brightly, as he hopefully looled at Father and asked.

"Do you think that I would be able to do it?"

"Hahaha!!! Of course you can! you are just as outstanding as Titus, after all!" The father answered while tapping Yuno's shoulder.

Hearing that he is just as amazing as Titus, Yuno, being the timid one of the three 'brothers', became very spirited and took the letter from the father and ran while a smiling widely at the thought that he was just as good as his 'elder brother'.

Asta looked at the gradually fading back of Yuno as he looked at the Father and asked with a pout.

"What about me? aren't I just as good as the two of them? You make it sound like I'm worse than them."

Father and Sister Lily who heard him just laughed wryly, then he explained. "It's not like that! you are just as good as the both of them! you three are brothers after all!"

Asto who heard his explanation, immediately became very spirited as he ran inside the church as he shouted; "Last to get inside is a loser!"

"H-hey wait for me!" Recca yelled as she ran after him.

"Hahaha! don't forget about me!" Father said as he childishly ran after them, while Sister Lily who was holding Nash in her arms just smiled warmly at them as she took a final glance at the distance, as if she was looking at both Yuno and Titus running towards them, after looking at the distance, she then turned around and walked inside...

This time she truly felt that this Church was becoming more and more like a normal home and that the people in it was becoming more and more like a lovely family...
