Chapter 2 Bears will be Bears

"She looked in the window and then peeped through the keyhole; seeing nobody in the house, she lifted the latch."

A boy and a girl can be seen breaking and entering a mansion. They raid the freezer, eat the food and drink the expensive wines. They try on the clothes of the owner of the mansion. Finally, they go to the bedroom and have sex in it.

Girl "why were we not born rich?"

Boy "because our parents did not have money."

Boy "shall we go on our yacht darling?"

Girl "which one heheheh."

Just as they were getting out of the bed, they heard a car pull over. Scared they began to frantically wear there clothes to get out of the house.

The girl jumps down the window and as she turns around she sees her boyfriend get dragged inside and she hears screams.

She gets scared and runs away from there.

Scene change

Inside the Precinct 

Random office "I got a D.U.I out on highway 2 about an hour ago. Drivers got some crazy story about her boyfriend being attacked. Names Gilda Darner."

Nick and Hank roll their chair to see the girl.

Hank "What do you think?"

Nick "Ah, grown up way too fast Single parent, if she has any. Takes way too many chances and looks for excitement in all the wrong places."

Hank "sounds like me"

Nick "look where that go you."

Scene change

Outside the mansion

Just as Nick and Hank pulled outside the mansion they see the mansion crawling with cops.

Hank "somebody got here before us."

Wu "what are you doing here? I haven't in called it in yet."

Hank "what happen here?"

Wu "breaking and entering."

Just as Hank and Nick were entering the mansion they found lots of artefacts on the display.

As they finish there routine questioning they go back to the precinct to question Guilda.

Scene change

Inside the precinct 

Nick "Gilda do you have any idea what was chasing you?"

Gilda "I don't know. I was so scared I just kept running. It is my fault I should have stayed there and wait for Rocky."

As Gilda begins crying Nick gives her his handkerchief and gets out.

Just then his phone began to rang.

Nick "hello"

Marie "I want you to come to the hospital."

Nick "okay"

Scene change

Inside the hospital

Marie "I know this is too much for you Nicky but you need to be strong. You need to hunt down the bad once just as your ancestor did."

Nick "Okay I will."

Marie "you should talk with Victor. He can help you with everything. I met him when I was just 15. He helped me a lot when I was starting into all of this."

Nick "I will Aunt Marie. Now why don't you rest."

Scene change

Outside the mansion

As Nick and Hank were driving to the mansion they are overtaken by 3 boys in motorcycle.

Nick and Hank pull outside the mansion and do their regular questioning. While doing the questioning Nick sees the son of the mansion owner woge into a bear-like being which makes him nervous.

After finishing all the questioning as they were about to leave Nick sees a totem pole, gets in the car and leave.

Scene change

Inside Nick's house

As Nick was researching the totem poles Juliete came in with donuts for desert.

Just as Nick was about to reach for the donut.

Juliete lightly slaps his hands and says, "Don't be such a cop."

Then they began to talk about Aunt Marie and how Nick is handling all the stress.

All the talk ends with them making out in the bed.

Late at night

Just as Nick was drawing the pictures of the totem pole, Aunt Marie comes in.

Nick "Aunt Marie what are you doing here?"

Marie "Do you remember what I told you?"

Nick "yeah."

Marie then reaches into the cabinet and stabs Nicks hand which wakes him up gasping for breath.

Juliete "What happened?"

Nick "just a nightmare nothing else."

Scene change

Inside the trailer.

Nick is seen looking through the cabinet where he finds a claw shaped dagger like object and he instantly recognizes it as the one he saw in the mansion.

Scene change

Inside Monroe's house

Just as Monroe was doing some pilates he hears a knock on the door.

He looks towards the watch sees that it is 6:30 in the morning and decides to ignore the knock.

There is a second knock.

Monroe sighs and goes to open the door and finds Nick outside.

Nick "We need to talk."

Monroe "No we don't. Not in 6'30 in the morning"

Nick "It is important."

Nick then comes inside the house.

Monroe rolls his eyes and says, "well then come on in. What would you like some tea?bagel? I am right in the middle of my Pilates."

Nick takes the claw like dagger out and shows Monroe.

Nick "have you seen one of these?"

Monroe "Not one up close. And thank God. I think Jagerbars use these for disemboweling. Now I am hungry."

Nick "What do you know about Jagerbars."

Monroe "Is it about a case."

Nick "yes."

Monroe "then can you please ask Victor for help."

Nick "I can't. Aunt Marie wants to talk with him about something and he is over there."

Monroe "So are they together or something."

Nick "oh God no….. I hope not."

Monroe "okay so how can I help."

Nick "can you tell me about this claw?"

Monroe "They use those claws for Roh-hatz."

Nick "Roh-hatz?"

Monroe "yeah, they pound there chest and wail to connect to the primitive beast in them. They drink beer and do stupid things."

Nick "I need to go."

Nick just walks away.

Monroe "ohh, thank you would be much appreciated."

Scene change 

Inside the hospital

Marie "can you help Nick please? Just as you helped me once."

Victor "I can do that if that's what you want. You were my most prized pupil after all."

Marie "hehehe Good old days."

Victor "That they were."

Nick walks in them and says, "Have any of you heard of Roh-Hatz?

Victor "yes, it is a rite of passage for the jagerbar to become a man. It happens at the sunset with blood in the hand."

Nick listening to this just starts running while calling Hank.

Seeing him run Marie holds Victors hand and tells him to go and help.

Victor goes out and then calls Monroe.

Victor "Monroe, my friend I need a favor. An unusual favor."

Monroe "go on I am listening."

Victor "I need you to guard Marie for me."

Monroe "Marie the Grimm??"

Victor "yes"

Monroe "You know I am only doing this because it's you."

Victor "I know."

Monroe "I am on my way."

Victor "Thanks man."

Scene change

Outside the mansion

Nick got to know from Hank that Gilda got out on bail took a gun from her father and is headed towards the mansion.

As Nick and Hank get out of the car they see the owner of the mansion outside.

Man "What do you want?"

Nick "The woman who broke into your house. Is on your way here with a gun."

Man "What?"

Hank "I am goanna check the perimeter."

Just as hank leaves a black car pulls over and Victor gets out of the car.

Victor "well well what have we got here a jagerbar."

Man, woges and sees Victor and exclaims "Grimm. Don't hurt me I have done nothing."

Victor "I know. But your sons not so much."

Man "what?"

Nick "It's the Roh-hatz."

Man "that's an old tradition no one follows it."

Nick "I think somebody is following those traditions again."

Man looks towards his wife then says, "You did this?"

Woman "It is their right."

Saying this the woman runs into the house.

Man sighs and says, "Follow me I know where they can be."

Nick "Okay"

Inside the forest

As the man, Victor and Nick were going through the forest they hear someone screams and as they run towards the screams they run into Gilda and Rocky.

They were covered in bruises and cuts.

Just the 3 boys came fully woged looking like a bear.

Gilda and Rocky run and hide behind Victor when the man says, "Enough boys. This is a bad and old tradition that we no longer follow."

Just then the woman came charging towards Victor full woged.

But victor with his superior strength just stops her and slams her to the ground which caused her to pass out.

Seeing as Victor was powerful the boys quickly surrendered.

Nick looks at Victor and says "Wow you are powerful."

Victor smiles and says, "That I am."

As hank returns and everything is being processed Victor suddenly had a bad feeling that something is about to happen at the hospital.

He quickly gets in his car and goes to the hospital.

Scene change

Inside the hospital

Monroe can be seen casually pacing outside Marie's room when suddenly 5 guys wearing all black came toward the room.

Monroe tries to stop them, but they suddenly took out some sword and attack him.

Monroe woges and tries to defend but they also woge and try to attack him.

Monroe, seeing that he is at a disadvantage leads them outside towards the basement.

Monroe was at a disadvantage, but he was still defending properly.

But one of the guys seeing the chance goes back to Marie's room.

Just as he was about to enter the room a handheld his shoulder just as he turns around he sees a pissed off Victor.

Without saying anything victor just knocks the man out cold then focuses on his hearing. Then he hears some fighting going on in the basement.

Monroe fully woged was fighting 4 scalengar with the help of a pipe that he found but he was terribly losing. Just then Victor comes in rushing and charges towards the scalengar. Victor with his superior strength and martial prowess defeats them.

Just as he was about to relax, one of the guys suddenly jumps up to attack him but Monroe just bites off the neck of the scalengar.

Victor "I had that."

Monroe pouts and says, "Yeah yeah a thank you would be nice you know. Do all the grimms have a pact about no saying thanks you."

Victor just sepishly laughs and says, "heheheh, thank you Monroe."

Monroe smiles and says, "hehe, my pleasure."

Just then Nick walks in, seeing all the body he says, "what happen here?"

Then Monroe explains everything that happen then Nick says, "Thank you"

Monroe just smiles and says, "Can't believe got 2 grimms to thank me in one day."

Victor and Nick just laugh at the antics of Monroe.

Nick," You guys get out of here I will handle everything."

Nick goes back to Marie's room.

Marie call Nick closer and says, "Trust your Instinct and Victor. He will help you."

Then Marie just smiles at Nick and says "I love you my sweaty."

Then she dies smiling in the arms of Nick.

Nick cries and just whispers, "I love you too Aunt Marie."

Scene change 

In a Graveyard

Victor, Nick, Juliete, and Monroe can be seen over the grave of Marie Kessler. They put some flowers in the grave and say their goodbyes.

Victor "This never gets easier. You were my best pupil, and I will always remember you."

Scene change

Outside Victor's house

Nick "I think it is better keeping the trailer at yours it is much safer."

Victor "I have no problem with that, but can you please let Monroe look around the trailer I owe him for making him protect your aunt and he would love to look at those books."

Nick "I have no problem with that."

Victor "call me if you need help with anything and come to my restaurant with Juliete sometime."

Nick "that I will. Monroe has been praising your cooking since I met him."

Victor "hehehe come anytime."
