1 Prologue

Min Haerin, a 17 year old girl with, what seemed like, a normal life. She had good grades and lots of friends. But behind all this happiness and love, she had a secret. When Hearin was a little girl, she was put in the hospital due to irregular heart beats. The doctors found out more behind her health and gave her parents the news of how long she had left with them. Note that this was when she was 5. Haerin is 17 years old now. She has surprised doctors with how long she has lived.

There is an answer as to why she has live for so long.

Since she was 7 years of age, Haerin has been seeing this man standing in the corner of her room. The man was tall and looked like to be holding a book in his hands. Every time he tried to get close to her, he would always trip or drop something on the ground. He would disappear when he did this. But the next night he would be back.

Hearin never tried talking to the mysterious man in the corner, for she was too scared to do so. She would tell her parents the next day about the Man in The Corner, but they would never believe her and would say it was a delusion from her illness.

Still to this day, she sees the Man in The Corner.
