1 Chapter One

She was nine again going back home by plane, sitting in the middle of her parents while holding her little brother.

BOOM

Screams were heared, her mother and father's face was agitated, ther covered her with their arms to protect them. While she did the same with her little bother Falcon.

BANG, CRASH

Screams still lingered in the area, while fire erupted. Her parents wasn't moving they were covered in blood, she soon realised they were dead. She didn't have anytime to cry or grieve, her brother was top priority. He was alive and still conscious, thank God. She was able to make out people in the distance but the fire was coming closer and closer. The heat felt like it was behind her back then.....

Veronica woke up her breathing was rough, she had that same nightmare again, she took out a picture of her mum and dad, her gaze was full of sorrow. She forced her self out of bed and to the bathroom.

In no time Veronica finished taking her bath, she looked at herself in the mirror. She was big and chubby to put it nicely but that wasn't enough to make her ashamed of herself. A smile formed on her face, but it soon disappeared at the thought of her aunt and cousins. She wasn't ashamed of herself but afraid to speak up for herself.

Making her way to the kitchen, she prepared breakfast for herself (23) and her brother(17). Falcon and Veronica ate different meals, because unlike her brother she want a fan of any thing too sugary. And with that reason their meals were different : if they did have the same meal her blood pressure will rise and her body widen.

It was time for university/college, she was getting nervous, well it was her third year there so there was no reason why. She stood idly at the entrance, suddenly she was knocked out of her trance by her friends. Big smiled warmed her up as she walked into the school gates.
