193 Broken girls…. – Chapter 193

Once all of the girls woke up after being teleported away, they all stood emotionless hoping that everything that happened a few moments ago was nothing else but another long nightmare.

But the fact that their hands were still trembling while looking at each other in horror, made them realize that it was all real.

The feelings they had! The moment when Hatsuko was cut in half. It was all real!

"NOOO!!!!! We have to go baaack!!!!" Ichika pleaded as she held Akemi's tired arm.

Both of their eyes were tired from crying, but Ichika still didn't want to accept such fate to the person she loved.

"We can't…" Akemi's tired voice responded back to the crying girl begging for her help.

"Why not?! You're the strongest dragon, aren't you?! Why can't we go back and help him!? He's still there waiting for us!" Ichika cried with all of her might as her voice was beginning to break apart from screaming. "H-he's still waiting for us!"

The rest of the girls were also blankly watching with bated breaths and widened eyes between the broken girl and the soundless dragon.

But Akemi knew that the truth had to be told…

"He's already dead…" Her voice, broken and destroyed, responded back to Ichika as both of their eyes dimed.

Ichika let go of Akemi's arm as she stared at her in disbelief at the words she just said.

"W-what are you saying Akemi? Y-you can't be joking… right?" Ichika stuttered as her eyes dried up by the shocking words that Akemi just stated.

Even Hina and Chloe forgot how to breathe as they looked at Akemi saying the words they never wanted to hear.

"He's dead…?" Hina questioned herself, her eyes filled with sorrow.

He's dead? How could Hatsuko be dead? There's no way that such an amazing hero would be dead. That's what Hina continued saying in her head as her legs no longer had any strength to keep standing anymore.

"Akemi!! PLEASE TELL ME THAT YOU'RE JOKING!!" Ichika yelled as her whole body was burning up from all of the forgotten memories that were locked up within her.

Her family, dying… once again?

She couldn't understand, nor did she want to believe that Hatsuko no longer lived in this world.

"IM NOT LYING YOU DUMB HUMAN!" The once proud dragon snapped back at the broken girl in front of her as she couldn't hold back her tears any longer. "I can't feel his presence anymore… and our contract… disappeared…" Tears continued to fall from the so-called proud dragon who had fallen so low.

The last part of what she loved so much… was already dead just like the rest of her dragons.

"No way… w-why?" Ichika leaned her head to the crying dragon, not being able to see her anymore in the eyes anymore.

The twin sisters were standing still with their emotionless expression on her fa–

No… even though they were standing without a sound, a long trail of tears could be seen sliding their way out of their eyes, making dripping sounds each time they fell into the ground.

When they were an angel and a demon, they never felt any fear or love. But they still relied on each other as sisters under any kind of circumstances, because that's all they had… each other.

But after forming a contract with a person they saw the kind of soul he held… they decided to give him everything they had, including their own powers.

And now that they were humans, they learned many different emotions that they had never felt before… The feelings of losing someone that you love so much.

A kind of love that could never be erased even in thousands of years.

But the one who was suffering the most, was a certain white haired cat laying on the ground as tears were gently sliding on her cheeks.

Shiro knew that her connection with her master was gone, and she couldn't even feel his presence anymore…

It was gone… and Shiro couldn't be with him anymore…

"Ma…ster…" The white haired cat struggled to call out for her master as she did not move nor flinch from her position.

The cat which had learned how to become and speak like a human, was abandoned once again.

She was left all alone… just like the previous family who abandoned her instead of taking her with them.

But when she found her master… it was different…

She felt an attachment to him like she had never felt before. The instinct of love that could make her do anything that her master would ask her for.

But in the end… she was laying down once again, broken at her unfulfilled heart as a cat who wished nothing else but her master's love.

Everyone had broken and destroyed looks on their face as they still haven't accepted the fact that Hatsuko was gone…

There was no way of bringing him back to life… and there was no point of looking for him any longer.

Akemi was exhausted after using her powers in order to teleport everyone away from the angel.

The twin sisters had formed a barrier around the whole group as everyone was laying down, uncertain of what they were going to do next.

And that's how they spent an entire day, waiting for something to happen… something for their broken hearts…

That was until they heard the vibration sounds of a helicopter which landed some meters away from them.

They all stared at the heavily armed helicopter as it was cooling off with their emotionless and broken eyes.

They weren't scared or afraid at what was coming down. The fact that Hatsuko was gone from their lives was something that kept their minds distracted from anything else.

But as a certain young girl with a lab coat got out of the helicopter, she called out to everyone.

"Is everyone alright?"

No response…

Everyone looked at the young girl who seemed to have similar resemblance to someone they knew… To someone they loved and cherished.

Who could this young girl be that made their eyes tear up?
