23 Indefinite Hiatus

Many years ago, I wrote this novel after reading Re:Monster and other similar novels. I ran out of that type of content and wanted to find a similar sort of vibe while fixing the issues that I found from reading those novels.

The idea of putting a normal person in a crazy world and making it so that they're willing to do anything to get stronger while having a system was fun since it's a harmless fantasy that you can live through vicariously. I also made main characters that would make you feel better about yourself since they were inherently flawed as human beings and would only grow over time. Although looking back now, I do wish that I made my main characters slightly more likeable from the start.

I finally re-read my novel and although I see some potential, there's just too many flaws in it to continue. I was a lot younger when I wrote this and I've since grown as a person. I feel like my ability to write stories is at a whole new level and my ability to create likeable and realistic characters is also on a completely different level.

Unfortunately, even though I might read novels once in a while, committing to writing a story takes a lot of time and real life is really busy. I don't see myself writing a new novel any time soon. I do have a second novel called "Wish-Fulfilling System" that I wrote a year after this novel but both are on Hiatus. If I were to ever write a novel in the future, I'd want you to learn something so that you could benefit from it in real life.

I just wanted to leave an update that this novel will be on an indefinite hiatus and I likely won't change my mind about it but still am leaving room for myself in case I want to ever improve previous chapter and or just want to write some more chapters on a whim.
