27 Start of Nion
Nion watched in concentration as the Dyson sphere was completed after a few weeks. The once bright star was fully covered not even a ray of light escaped the sphere. The Dyson Sphere absorbed the entire energy that the star produced.
Nion took a deep breath and said, "Initiate the ultimate phase.". He inwardly prayed, 'Work, Work, Work…'
The Dyson Sphere began shrinking, it grew smaller and smaller… A minute later, the star had completely vanished. An orb the size of a Ping pong ball in its place.
Nion teleported in front of it and gulped as he took the orb in his hand nervously.
The Dyson Sphere had surpassed the Kryptonian science by a lot. Nion himself had already gone way beyond the Krptonains and other civilizations of DC in his own understanding of the universe and the sphere was his Magnum opus.
The Dyson Sphere was not just an energy maker, his design was in a way that would separate the space-time inside from the outside world completely creating a miniature universe within the sphere. He could squeeze the star into this universe and shrink the sphere to a small size.
In this way, he could hold a star in his hand, no weight no heat no gravity to be concerned about. All of that in the miniature universe. It was the perfect energy core for his suit. The inside of the sphere was similar to his ship, very big. 10 times bigger than the star.
Even when the star were to get close to its death, Nion could always add more hydrogen and prolong its life.
The sphere used 1% of the Star's outcome to maintain itself, the rest ready for his harvest.
He held the orb with sparkling eyes.
The orb had become see-through after shrinking, he could make out the star and the solar storms within. It was breathtakingly beautiful. He named it Ether Core.
He had achieved something extraordinary, holding a universe in the palm of his hands; A great star in his fist. His smile was truly brilliant.
The orb had 8 circles on the 8 sides of it symmetrically. From each one leaked a very strange looking liquid that glowed radiantly like a rainbow.
This liquid was pure energy.
Nion had discovered what people called Dark matter was actually the highest and purest form of energy, he named it Ether. It was such a high level of energy that it didn't interact with reality and yet the entirety of reality was like a wooden branch moving in a river of Ether.
Ether was the source energy of everything.
Nion knew he couldn't channel so much energy with Matter and similar things at all so the only way was to access Ether. He had theorized that if enough pure energy was condensed into a point, it would revert back to its origin. And with enough reverting, he could create a constant flow and make it a liquid.
The entire energy that star created was being focused into 8 infinitely small points equally and thus it reverted back into Ether and liquified. In other words, it was Dark Matter in a liquefied state.
He tried touching it but his hand went through it. It existed on a higher dimension and was only visible due to the unique circumstances. It vanished into space and ceased being visible after a second of leaving the orb.
He smirked and teleported inside Dimension. There he put the Orb in the 3D Creator. "Ava, complete the suit."
He held his breath in anticipation. The suit was slowly finished… It took 10 minutes. The suit inner circuits were 9 dimensional made of 6 Dimensional Nanobots looking like 3 Dimensional pieces. This was how it managed to make use of Ether. This suit was truly something else…
It was pitch black. It looked like his previous prototype which was similar to superman's suit.
That was not important though, this was the default look but it could morph into any shape since the look was a 3D illusion projected from the 6 Dimensional Nanobots.
He could wear this suit forever.
He snapped his fingers and the suit turned into a cloud of black dust that moved and made a flying cube the size of a soccer ball, it moved around his head. The cube was pitch black.
He snapped his fingers again and the suit became a black cloud again and moved around his body. A moment later it transformed into its default form on Nion's body.
On the place where the bulge of the belt was supposed to be, below the stomach and above the crotch area, a faintly blue glowing circle was visible. Glowing thin lines extending from it to cover various parts of the suit in a unique design.
"Ava, upload all the costumes and outfits I uploaded on the database that day to this suit."
The Suit had a quantum computer. It wasn't as strong as the mega one on Dimension but it was millions of times faster than any on earth. It could easily sustain a clone of Ava perfectly.
"Done."
Nion said calmly, "Transform to number 2.". The suit transformed again, it was the outfit he wore to the cocktail party that day. He looked especially charming and attractive in it with a rebellious but luxurious and elegant look.
"Now this is how you travel the multiverse. Let's make the VNS and we are good to go"
He named the suit, "Void Traverser.".
'To make the navigation system, I need to study the quantum realm of the atoms making up my body first. Let's begin.'
He used a laser to cut a single strand of his hair and put it in the particle accelerator.
"Ava, take apart the atoms and beam them in opposite directions. Make them collide and scan the Quantum aftershocks, I need a 100% scan of the Quantum properties."
"Initiated… Collison in 10, 9, 8, 7."
Nion watched in concentration as the results came. "Scanning complete."
"Irregularity at the Quantum level detected. Counting… 18 billion."
'What?! So many!'
"Show me everything…"
He began studying the irregularities and spent a few days researching and performing a few other tries.
He concluded an answer.
'Despite perfectly living here, I am a foreign entity to this universe. The Quantum realm of the atoms making my body is weird as fuck… It's like it's adapting to the basic universal laws despite following other ones.'
To better understand, imagine it this way. A complex-looking container that can be filled with milk or water and still retain a certain amount of weight and from outside, it wouldn't be much different what liquid filled it. However, inside the two different liquids are very different even if it looks the same outside and interact with the world similarly. The container's shape is universal laws.
Nion's subatomic particles were the container and the quantum field was the liquid. It is different from this universe but it can adapt and take a similar form like flowing into the container. It is fundamentally different but appears the same on the atomic scale. Thus on a macroscopic scale, there is no difference between him and other beings of this universe.
In a way, Nion's Quantum field had flowed from a different shape to this one after entering this universe like liquid from one container to another.
This meant that he didn't have to worry about traveling to other universes since his Quantum field would similarly adapt and no problems would arise.
It also meant by studying the Quantum field, there was a possibility of making the VNS.
'If I can track the laws and Quantum fields of different universes in the absolute void… I can track universes with those laws and I have the first sample here. That's it!'
Thousands of different ideas flashed through his head. A design began taking shape…
"Ava, begin Real-time simulating..."
He made the VNS after a few days and uploaded it on his Entry Watch. The watch had fused with the suit. The simulation of VNS had gone perfect after several tries. The reason it went so smoothly was because of Ava.
He designed a gateway to the absolute void and a gateway out of it based on the theories he had created and proven in simulation over the years. Ava also sped up everything.
Without Ava, it would have taken a few years��� She did the simulations and all the calculations and creation. Nion just had to give the idea and design with the working mechanics of the inventions.
He made three pieces that would open a door to a Space similar to the phantom zone and break it there to make way into the void. This void would be the edge of Versal Void and from there he could easily enter the absolute void.
It worked in reverse when entering a universe. They would make a door to the Versal void of the universe and then enter a special spatial zone and from there create the portal to the universe itself. All universes had such dimensions and spatial zones.
The three pieces were 10-dimensional machines that freely manipulated space-time. He could open portals whenever and wherever he wanted in a universe by using them.
They looked like three glowing pyramids the size of a baby's fist when put together. The portal's they made would be triangle-shaped. They were dark purple and glowed with a black light.
He made a special shield for them. The shield would make the three ethereal and invisible. No one could interact with them. They would always orbit the crown of his head when on stand by unless deactivated and stored within the ship.
Dimension had also become a warehouse of sorts to put things in since it was big. It had fused into the suit and located near the Ether core.
Nion was ready!
The only problem was unless he got close nough to a universe with a predetermined Quantum field, such as DCEU which he had saved in case he wanted to come back, he couldn't find it. This meant that the VNS couldn't directly guide him to Dragon ball verse but it could navigate him through the void and search nearby universes based on their quantum diffrences.
The next universe he would go to would most likely be random and be part of DC since DC was a multiverse of sorts...
'The only thing I need is this suit and I can go wherever I want. The VNS needs a little working since it will be random at the moment but it still something.'
"Ava before we begin make sure to make a Versal Map of the Void and the universes we explore."
"I am already on it. I will record everything."
He took a deep breath and prepeared mentally, He didn't want to leave so suddenly but he didn't want to slack off and delay it. He knew that if he stayed longer, eventually, his problem would end him.
He went to Antarctica, the same place he had appeared first, and saw a few military bases there… He sighed and flew somewhere close and sat down in thought looking at the scenery.
'I don't know what will happen but I must take this step, the simulations are perfect but there might be complications. I just hope I don't encounter bullshit things like old ones or whatever messed with my head…'
He could have created a supernova or entered a black hole to enter the absolute void but he made a stable way to travel whenever he wanted. He didn't like limiting himself.
"Open the Gateway to the Void. Let's hope for the best."
Three pyramids became visible as they made a formation as tips of a triangle and sliced space and made a portal. The other side was pitch black, like the maw of a demon.
"Goodbye, Earth... It was fun while it lasted. Thanks... for everything." he said with the emotions of a person who was embarking on a great adventure, leaving behind his home; even if it was his temporary home.
He entered it without hesitation.
The justice league was formed and Invincible also known as Otherworlder was recognized as one of the founders. His name, eternally engraved into human history.
In the future, Steppenwolf would come and get defeated. So will Darkseid due to Batman's preperations. Humanity's future forever changed because of this traveler; Nion, also known as Invincible the hero, Otherworlder the Mysterious. Zod's slayer. Doom of Doomsday.
The Hero who vanished into thin air one day, only Batman aware that he left the world. Bruce Wayne made sure that Ion Grimm's wealth went to the people who worked for him since he had no one else to inherit it.
Nion transformed from a normal man to a super genius, Saiyan with great knowledge and technology at his disposal. A scientist, A Warrior, A Dimension Traveler. A Universe traveler.
This universe was like a womb that made him grow so that he could be born into the world at a greater stage.
And Thus his story began...

What you all read till now was a prologue... That's why I rushed it a bit. I was getting tired of it.
There won't be much information dump like the two previous chaps in chapters from now on. Maybe a little here and there but the main focus is the story from now on. Character interactions etc.
I am taking a break for a few days then I will begin writing the next volume.
