1 1 | King's Landing

One ship was closing in on the shores of King's Landing, as it was at least league away from the shore the man standing on the helm yelled out "Halt!"

As the men heard that they did everything they could by dropping the anchor and rowing backwards to stop the ship.

"Commander! Are you sure about this?" One of the men asked the man who ordered them to halt the ship.

Looking back at the man he said "Menesthius, have you ever seen my plan fail?"

"No commander," Menesthius replied.

"Then this will not fail either. Ready the men when I give the signal." Saying that the commander dived into the water without waiting for the reply from his subordinate.

Menesthius, just looked at the figure that jumped into the water. As the commander was at least a mile away from the ship Menesthius turned around and said "You heard the commander, we will set sail to the shores when he give us the signal."

The soldier's nodded, then one of the soldiers asked "Why is the commander so enraged this time?"

Looking at the soldier Menesthius asked "You don't know what's happening in Westeros right now?"

"All we know is that currently there is a war going on." Another soldier said.

"Well, the commander's father and half brother were killed by someone." Menesthius said.

Hearing that all the soldiers looked at Menesthius and their jaws dropped.

The soldier who asked the question mumbled out loud "May the Gods have mercy on that fool, because I'm sure that our commander won't."

Every soldier in the ship nodded, hearing that Menesthius said "From what I know, the commander's little sister is also in danger so I believe that he will be finishing off the killer as fast as possible."

The soldier's nodded in understanding as they heard their commander telling them stories about his siblings when he was young.

"So who's the one killed both of them?" One of the soldiers asked.

"Who do you think?" Menesthius asked the soldier.

"I have no idea about the commander's family, other than his siblings. So I don't know." The soldier replied.

Nodding at the man, Menesthius said "Understandable, as far as I know only the squad leaders know the true identity of our commander. But, the commander has given me permission to inform you all why we're attacking Westeros."

Hearing that, all the men on deck stopped what they were doing and patiently waited for the explanation from their squad leader.

Looking at the enthusiasm of the men to know more about their commander, Menesthius chuckled and said "Do you know who rules the North of Westeros?"

"The Starks right?" One of the men said.

"Yes, now what are the most striking characteristics of a Stark Family member that is known throughout the Known World?" Menesthius asked, he did want to inform them directly but the commander had ordered him to inform them by asking them questions. And as a loyal follower of the commander Menesthius followed the order to the tee.

"Courage, loyalty, and wildness?" A man asked, unsure of himself.

"Right. Now, how do you describe our commander?" Menesthius asked, and he could see that most of the men figured it out but was waiting for Menesthius to confirm.

One of the slow-witted men said "Strong, courageous and loyal, sometimes pretty wild."

Nodding at the man, Menesthius said "That's right. Our commander has the same characteristics of the Stark family all because he is one of them. He has the blood of the Wolf in him."

All of them nodded in understanding and then they had a confused look. Seeing that, Menesthius said "I know what you're thinking. 'Who would have the guts to kill Starks who rule the vast North?' right?"

They immediately nodded at him.

With a heavy look he said "Our commander's father, who has died, was the Lord Paramount of The North. The one who has the guts to kill that man is the King only."

At that everyone's eyes went wide and one of the men asked "So commander is going to kill the King first then save his sister?"

"Yes, that's what he will be doing. And our job is to be ready to receive our commander." Menesthius said. After that there was a pin drop silence on the deck as they all waited for the signal.

A couple of minutes later, from the top of a tower at the edge of the castle, they saw fire. Seeing that Menesthius said "All hands on the deck, and forward!"

The men quickly went on to their assigned position and the ship started to move forward towards shore near the castle.

As they neared there they saw their commander with a woman who was holding a bundle of clothes and a little girl around four name days of age.

At a considerable distance they stopped their ship and sent a rowboat towards the shore to pick up the three people.

As the row boat returned, as soon as he got onto the ship he ordered "Set sail to the sea of Dorne."

"Yes sir." Was the collective reply of the soldiers, hearing the loud voice of theirs a cry was heard from the bundle of clothes that was held by the women.

Without any word he picked up the four year old and told the women "Let's go to the cabin. You can tell me what happened in Westeros when I was away."

"Yes, cousin." Was all the women said as she followed him towards the cabin of the commander.
