37 Chapter 37 Interrogation

Varen was sitting on a ledge that was in a parking garage. He was already in his Nightwing suit and was waiting for Peter to start with his Interrogation.

Varen: "Goodluck."

Varen whispered to Peter.

Peter: "Thanks. Karen activate inhanced interrogation mode!"

Varen was laughing inwardly. This should be good.

Peter shot a web at the unsuspecting man who was putting away his groceries in the trunk, and stuck his hand on the trunk.

Spiderman: "Remember me?!"

Peter said in a very deep voice that sounded a little scary and was hard to understand.

Spiderman: "You got information and your going to give it to me now!"

The poor guy did not know what was going on.

Davis: "Woah hey."

He was extending his arm in front of him to protect himself if necessary. But he stopped since he thought something was off.

Davis: "What happened to your voice?"

Spiderman: "What do you mean what happened to my voice?"

Davis: "I heard you by the bridge, I know what a girl sound like."

Peter seemed to get a little triggered by this.

Spiderman: "I'm not a girl! I'm a boy!! I mean, I'm a man!"

Davis: "I dont care what you are, boy, girl..."

Spiderman: "I'm not a girl! Im a man! Come on man, I know Fisk is selling these weapons."

Varen raised an eyebrow to this. Fisk is still selling his weapons? How? I thought I destroyed the facility. Does he have another one? Or is this a shipment that I overlooked?

Spiderman: "Who is the vulture man, I need to know, give me names or ELSE-"

Davis seemed to have enough of his shit and slammed the trunk shut, scaring Peter.

Davis: "You ain't never done this before huh?"

I could almost see Peter's solemn face through the mask.

Spiderman: "Deactivate interrogation mode."

I stifled a laugh, even Davis chuckled to himself.

Spiderman: "Look man, these guys are selling weapons that are crazy dangerous. They cant just be out on the streets-look if one of them can just cut down Delmars Boldega in half then-"

Davis: "You know Delmars?"

Spiderman: "Yeah, the best sandwich in Queens."

Davis: "Subhaven is pretty good."

Spiderman: "Ehh, it's too much bread."

Davis: "I like bread."

Spiderman: "Come on man, please."

Davis did not say anything and just looked at Peter. Peter took that as an answer and started to walk away dejected.

Spiderman: "Stupid interrogation mode, Karen dont ever do that again."

Davis: "The other night you told that dude if your gonna shoot somebody, shoot me. That's pretty ballsy. I dont want those weapons in this neighborhood, I got a nephew who live here."

Spiderman: "Who are these guys. What can you tell me about the vulture?"

Davis: "Vulture?"

Spiderman: "The man with the wings."

Davis: "Other than the fact that he's a psychopath dressed like a damon, nothing. I dont know who he is or where he is..."

Peter sighed in defeat.

Davis: "I do know where he's gonna be."

Peter seemed to literally brighten up.

Spiderman: "Really?"

Davis: "Yeah, this crazy dude I used to work with is supposed to be doing a deal with him."

Spiderman: "Yes! Haha"

Peter seemed happy and started to walk away.

Davis: "Aye, hey, aye!"

Peter turned around and looked at Davis.

Davis: "I didn't tell you where, you dont have a location."

Spiderman: "Oh right of course, my bad, silly yeah. Where is it?"

Davis: "Can I give you some advice?"

Spiderman: "Hmm?"

Davis: "You got to get better at this part of the job."

Spiderman: "I dont understand. I'm intimidating."

Peter leaned on the car, crossed his arms, and narrowed his eye lenses.

Davis: "Staten Island Ferry. 11:00."

Spiderman: "Oh that's soon. Hey thats going to dissolve in 2 hours!"

Peter started to walk away.

Davis: "No No No No...come fix this."

Spiderman: "2 hours! You deserve that."

Davis: "I got Ice cream in here!"

Spiderman: "You deserve that! Your a criminal, Bye mister criminal!"

Peter already jumped out of the parking garage.

Varen sighed and floated toward Davis.

Davis seemed startled to see me here.

Davis: "Your Nightwing. Were you here the whole time?"

Nightwing: "Yeah. I was watching Spidermans first ever Interrogation. How did it go?"

Davis: "He needs practice. Are you his mentor or something?"

Nightwing: "Or something. Need some help?"

Varen pulled on Peter's web and ripped it off with ease.

Davis: "Thanks. I really was looking forward to eating my ice cream."

Nightwing: "No problem. I hope you dont mind me asking, but what's your nephews name?"

Davis: "Miles."

Nightwing: "Sounds like a smart kid. Anyway I should go before Spiderman does something dumb. Stay clean Davis."

Varen flew out the parking garage and followed after Peter.

At the ferry, Peter and Varen can be seen sticking to the side and looking through the window.

Varen knew what was going to happen, so he just let Peter do all the work to let him gain experience.

Peter: "Karen, activate inhanced reconnaissance mode."

After Peter said this he can hear what they were saying inside, as well as scan their faces.

Peter: "Who is he talking too?"

There was one guy who had his back toward him, so he could not see his face.

{Incoming call from May Parker, should I answer her to your heads up display?}

Peter: "I cant talk to her right now, call her back."

Varen: "Actuall Karen, I'll take the call in his stead. Transfer her over to me."

{Of course Varen!}

That was something Varen added. Whenever Varen was close to Peter, he could talk to Karen. Peter could do the same with Morgan, and Morgana and Karen could talk to each other at anytime.

Varen took the call to his mask and can see his mom like if he was face timing her.

Varen: "Hey mom what's up?"

(May): "Nothing, just wanted to check up on you since you left the moment you got home. Your father is still at the company handling the aftermath of the Press Conference."

Varen: "Oh, me and Pete are on a little recon mission right now."

(May): "Oh, did I catch you in a bad time?"

Varen: "Sort of yeah. Do you think you can call back later?"

(May): "Sure honey. You two be safe!"

May hung up and the two proceeded with their mission.

Varen: "Peter, why dont you run a scan on that guy leaning on the wall?"

Peter: "Oh yeah... on it."

Varen: "Alright Peter. I think it's time you interrupted their little party."

Peter: "What? No I'm not ready!"

It was too late as Varen already pushed Peter down.

Peter landed on his feat and everyone stared at him.

Spiderman: "Hey guys...wanna see a party trick?"

Peter thwiped a web at a guys face, pulled him toward him and punched him hard enough to knock him out. The guys with guns started to shoot at Peter, who the latter just dodged by flipping around.

Spiderman: "No fair that's cheating!"

Peter shot webs at the guns and pulled them out of their hands.

Spiderman: "Now it's a fair fight!"

Varen wanted to laugh. Fair? You have super powers.

Peter webbed one of the men and started to spin him around knocking out the surrounding men. He then threw the guy he was spinning off the boat but webbed him to the side.

Spiderman: "Wow, I thought you guys would have put up a tougher fight. Honestly, I'm shocked."

Peter said this while reloading his web shooters. He then shot a web grenade at a guy trying to get into his car.

Spiderman: "Alright, it looks like I'm done here. What should we do now Nightwing?"

Peter looked toward Varen to see what they should do next.

Varen flew down toward Peter and stood next to him.

Varen: "So how was it?"

Peter: "Not that bad actually, although it would have been nice if you helped."

Varen: "But it's a lot more fun watching you!"

Just then, they both started to feel their Spider sense tingle.

They both did a back flip to get out of the way from whatever the danger was.

As soon as they dodged, Vulture came swooping in through the spot they were standing on.

Vulture: "You again?! You are really starting to get on my nerves Spiderman!"

Vulture then looked toward Varen.

Vulture: "Nightwing? Shit!"

Spiderman: "Its nice to see you again Vulture!"

Vulture: "Why is Nightwing here?!"

Spiderman: "He volunteered to offer some help. You dont mind if he plays with us right? The more the merrier."

Vulture: "God damn it! Just my luck."

Vulture turned around and tried to flee, but Peter webbed his foot and attached it to a nearby car.

Spiderman: "Why are you leaving so soon?"

Vulture: "God damn it! Get this off me!"

Vulture started to fly with more power dragging the car off the ferry.

Varen seemed to have enough of this little exchange and went up to the web dragging the car, grabbed it, and pulled Vulture toward him.

Vulture was surprised that he was being pulled down from the sky by someone with his bear hands. He made his suit go to full power but it did not change anything, he started to panic and began to shoot his laser gun randomly.

Peter shot a web to the gun, pulled it down, and webed it up in a cocoon to prevent it from shooting anymore.

This in turn caused a reaction with the laser and the web.

{M: Varen, you need to get rid of that gun quickly or it will cause a reflective reaction with the web. This could split the entire ship in half!}

Varen registered this in his head and quickly tugged Vulture down and punching him in the face. He knocked him out and yelled at Peter to watch him, he wanted to ask him a few questions later.

Varen quickly grabbed the gun and flew up straight into the sky. He flew so quickly that he was 264,000 ft (50 miles) up in 2 minutes. Although that is fast, Varen wanted to be faster. He has been testing his speed while flying and currently this was his limit, and he is extremely exhausted. Luckily the gun still has not gone off, but it looked like it would any second now. At this height, just a little more and he would reach space. Varen chucked the gun as hard as he could into space, and after a few seconds of the gun leaving his hand it exploded. The explosion was so big that people from the ground can even see it.

Peter was extremely worried for Varen. He stared at the sky for signs of Varen flying down but he did not see any.

After a few minutes, one can see something falling from the sky.

Peter wanted to help but he did not know how, all he could do was stand there as he watched Varen fall from the sky.

Varen fell very quickly and landed into the ocean surface making a huge splash.
