33 Chapter 33 My Name Is Varen Parker

​The limo pulled up to the entrance of Orion. The entrance looked like some sort of celebrity walkway, since there was a red carpet leading inside and News reporters everywhere.

May was the first to step out, following her was Peter, Liz, Ned, Varen, MJ, Gwen, and lastly Felicia. The news was focusing on the limo, and were curious as to who these people were. People even started to speculate that May was the Boss of Orion since she looked so glamorous, which technically they are not wrong since she does run it for Varen. There reactions were different for each person that came out. There were some curiosity as to who the first couple that came out was, weird faces to the boy with the cowboy hat, and down right praises toward Varen and the three girls. Those four looked like they came out of a fairy tail.

They walked up to the red carpet and started to walk inside where the actual press conference was being held. They walked in a group with May in the front and Varen behind her. Although Varen wanted to escort the girls, there were three of them and he only had two arms, so to be fair he walked by himself while the three girls linked arms and walked with each other. They did not seem to mind and looked to actually be enjoying themselves, basking in all of the attention as best friends and sisters.

The security guards opened the doors for them revealing the beautifully decorated interior. What used to be a giant reception hall for the company, was now decorated like a ball room. In the middle of the ball room was a podium where Varen will be giving his speech.

The guests were already inside and were chatting amongst themselves as they waited for the event to start.

May told the group that she was going to go check on something's and will inform Varen when it was time for him to introduce himself.

May left to do whatever she needed to check on, as the group split up. Peter and Liz went off on their own, Ned went to the food bar, and the three girls were chatting with people who instantly surrounded them when they had the chance. Most of them were guys, which Varen raised an eyebrow to. Although Varen did not like it, he was not going to go over their and shoo the men away, after all he was not in a relationship with any of them. He has merely shared a kiss with the three of them, although he is not going to lie he has grown feelings for the three 'sisters.'

Varen saw two men that he recognized in the group of people waiting. They were Tony Stark and Danny Rand. The two were talking with each other and seemed to be talking about business. Varen decided to go and introduce himself.

Varen walked up to the two and extended his hand. They seemed to notice and turned toward him.

Varen: "I saw you two from the other side of the room and thought you looked like interesting people, unlike the rest of the boring looking folk here. I'm Varen Parker."

Tony shook his hand and replied.

Tony: "Tony Stark, Haha it's funny since I think everyone here looks boring too. Honestly I'm starting to get bored myself waiting for this mysterious president. Honestly how cocky does he have to be to keep all of us waiting like this, to keep ME waiting like this."

Varen just merely smiled and did not reply to his complaints.

Tony: "How old are you? 15?"

Varen: "I'm 16."

Tony: "So what are you doing here Varen? Shouldn't you be In school?"

Varen: "For someone so smart, I would assume better Mr. Stark. Its Saturday, so that means there is no school. Also, my role here is very important."

Danny snorted at the side trying to hold in his laughter. Tony got a little mad at the kid, who just insulted him?

Who was this arrogant kid anyway? Does he think this event was for him or something? Tony sighed to himself.Honestly, kids these days are just so arrogant. Was I like this when I was younger?

Varen turned toward Danny who was still holding in his laughter.

Varen: "Mr. Rand. I've heard a lot about you."

Danny: "Oh? All good things I hope?"

Varen: "Some news make it sound terrible, but then there are some who dont. I would assume that helping out the citizens for free does not sit well with some of your board members?"

Danny: "Ahahaha...yeah, some dont take it so well."

Varen: "I could see why. Most business men are all about making money and not helping those in need of it. I wish you to know that I for one find it admirable."

Tony: "Again who are you? You dont seem to be just some average kid from highschool."

Varen was going to reply when he saw a familiar figure from the corner of his eye. He was dressed in black and was wearing an eyepatch.

Well if it isn't my old friend Nick Fury. I guess even S.H.I.E.L.D was curious as to who the mysterious president was.

Varen was going to introduce himself to Nick, but was stopped short by a hand on his shoulder. May grabbed his shoulder to let him know that it was time. Varen nodded as May walked away and Varen turned to the duo.

Varen: "I'm sorry gentlemen, but I have to excuse myself as I have some things to do."

Danny: "It was nice meeting you."

Varen: "The pleasure was all mine Mr. Rand, Mr. Stark."

Varen nodded toward Tony, who barely nodded back.

Varen made his way up to the podium and tapped the microphone a bit to get everyone's attention. Everyone in the ball room quieted down as they stared at the young man in curiosity.

Varen: "Hello everyone, I hope that all of you are enjoying your afternoon here in this beautifully decorated ball room. I would like to thank you for taking time out of your day to come and support Orion and its mysterious president. I am sure the whole world is wondering as to who this person is, and today I am here to enlighten the whole world. Let me Introduce myself. My name is Varen Parker, and I am the president of Orion."

A huge uproar occurred throughout the people witnessing the shocking announcement. The news reporters who were not really paying attention as to what the youth was saying, furiously started to write down everything the kid has said before. Luckily there was a reporter who recorded everything, since he never slacked off when it came to reporting the news for his Daily Bugle.

Varen looked around the room and saw the shocked faces of the crowd that included Stark, Rand, and Fury. Varen had a small smile of satisfaction in being able to trigger a reaction on the big shots faces.
