29 Chapter 29 Kiss Her Peter

Peter: "Argh...my head."

Peter woke up still inside the crate.

Peter: "God my head is ringing, Varen would kill me if he found out I did such a rookie mistake."

{It appears that you have a mild concussion. I really hope Varen teaches you a lesson, it's like you never completed the training wheels protocol! It's so frustrating and not fun at all being partners with someone who does not know what they are doing!}

Karen sounded very dissatisfied as she chewed out Peter.

Peter: "Hey! Why do you sound so disappointed in being my partner?!"

Peter said this with a tinge of hurt.

{Obviously its because you had no idea what you were doing while you were fighting! You didn't even know your web combinations, then you even got mad at me even though YOU told ME to choose!}

Peter: "*sigh* I know, I'm sorry. To tell you the truth I never completed the training, Varen unlocked all of the suits protocols for me because he thought I was ready...I guess I'm not."

{He unlocked the suits protocols for you?!....If Varen unlocked them for you, then he clearly saw something in you that made him think you were ready. What he saw I dont know, but he clearly trusts you to make the right decisions.}

Peter: "Thanks Karen. Where are we by the way?"

{I dont know, the crate is messing with my sensors}

Peter: "Oh man, they probably brought me to their secret evil lair! Alright Karen, we're going to have to fight our way out of this one."

{Got it! Activating instant kill!}

Before Peter could say anything about the instant kill, he was already dashing to the container doors.

Peter broke through the doors finding himself in a giant warehouse.

Peter: "Karen, where are we?"

{We are at the most secure facility in the eastern seaboard, the damage control deep storage vault.}

Peter: "Nooo, seriously!?"

Peter went up to the ware house's giant doors and tried to pry it open, but was not able to do so do to their sheer size.

{I suggest that you get used to your webs Peter, we might be here for a while.}

Peter: "Oh that's a good Idea."

For a little more than half an hour, Peter was messing with his webs or playing around to pass the time. Now he was lying on a web hammock between two crates.

Peter: "Man Karen, I'm soooooo bored."

{Yeah, I'm not having such a good time either.}

Peter: "...Hey Karen, do you think I should tell Liz about me being Spider-Man?"

{Who's Liz?}

Peter: "Who's Liz? She is the most fun, lovable, kindest girl ever. She's also my girlfriend."

{Hmm, well what do you think you should do?}

Peter: "I dont know, I want to tell her. But at the same time I dont want to go telling everyone about our family secret, I mean, what if this whole thing with Liz doesn't work out?"

{That is a good point. Maybe telling her wouldn't be the best of Ideas, maybe if you two are a for sure thing you can tell her.}

Peter: "Yeah your right....Hey Karen how long have we been here anyway?"

{45 minutes.}

Peter: "What?! We have got to get out of here!"

Peter went back to the crate that he came from.

Peter: "Maybe there will be something in here we can use."

Peter started to look at all of the things that were inside the crate. There were all types of dangerous looking weapons in there. One thing that Peter noticed was that all of the weapons had F.I.S.K. on them.

Peter: "Fisk industries? Karen take a picture of this."

{I already did since everything you see is being recorded.}

Peter: "Everything?"

{Everything. It's called the baby monitor protocol.}

Peter: "*sigh* of course it is."

Peter went to a bag at the corner of the crate and looked through it. He found some random tech stuff that were not really useful to him, but then he saw a familiar purple glow.

Peter: "Hey it's the dangerous purple glowy thing."

{Peter, it seems that you have a voice message from Ned. He called while you were passed out.}

Peter: "Go ahead and play it."

{Ned: Hey Peter, where are you man! You said that you would be back before anyone woke up! Everyone is starting to get ready for the Decathlon, we should be leaving in like 30 minutes. In case your not back in time, I'm taking the glowy thing with me for safe keeping like you said."}

Peter: "What! I told him not to take it!"

{Well that's not good.}

Peter: "Karen, call Ned back!"

The phone dialed but he did not answer.

Peter: "Crap! We have to get out of here."

Peter went to the giant doors and saw a key pad on the wall.

Peter: "Karen, what's the code?"

{Give me a minute while I figure out the code.}

Peter could see a bunch of scrambled numbers on his bottom right. Slowly the numbers came to a stop as Karen figured them out.

{8...2...9...4...1...6...and 3}

Peter put the numbers in and the door started to open.

Peter: "Nice job Karen!"

Peter left the building and hitched a ride on a passing truck that was heading the direction he wanted to go.

On the way there Peter kept trying to call Ned.

(Ned): "Peter, where are you?! We already finished-...Monument...your...trouble."

Peter: "Ned your cutting off! You need to get rid of the glowy thing now it's a bomb!"

(Ned): "What? I couldn't hear you..."

(Liz): "Is that Peter?"

Liz could be heard in the background as she grabbed the phone.

(Liz): "Peter where are you?! You know, I would be really pissed that you ditched me at the pool and the Decathlon, but I'm more worried. What is going on with you?"

Peter: "Liz I'm sorry I know tha-"

Before Peter could finish his sentence he heard a man say to put the phone in the machine, then the call cut off.

Peter: "Damn it, we're almost there!"

Peter could see the Washington monument coming up in view. Peter jumped off the truck and started to run toward the monument. When he finally got there he heard a big explosion and some of the monument cracked.

Peter: "Oh god."

???: "My friends are up there!"

Peter looked at who shouted and saw a girl who also came to the field trip for the Decathlon. Her name was Michelle, who was a very beautiful girl (Zendaya) but no one really talked to her because she was a little weird. Peter doesn't really think that but he has never really had an opportunity to strike up a conversation with her.

Spider-Man: "Dont worry mam, I'm here to help!"

Peter said in a manly deep voice to hide his true voice, which was pretty high pitch and pretty recognizable.

Peter ran toward the monument and started to climb. He climbed fast and sometimes used his web to sling himself up.

Peter: "God this is so high up! Karen what's the situation in there?!"

{The elevator is stuck at the very top, but any sudden movement will start to endanger the people in there. You have 20 minutes before its collapse...wait, never mind. You have 5 minutes.}

Peter: "What why?!"

{Sudden movement started to deteriorate the hold on the elevator. God they are really stupid, dont they have a guard with them?}

Peter: "I dont know, but I have to get there quick! What's the best way in Karen?"

{Activating Spider drone.}

A small white spider drone came out of his white spider symbol on his chest.

Peter: "Cool."

{The top windows of the monument is the optimal entrance point.}

Peter: "Got it!"

Peter started to make his way to the top of the Monument.

Finally Peter made it to the top of the monument and saw the glass. He was about to break the glass but looked down.

Peter: "Oh man...so high up."

{What's wrong, hurry up!}

Peter: "I've just never been this high before."

{Yeah, you would die of you fell from here. Especially since you have not reinstalled your parachute }

Peter: "Gee, thanks."

Peter webed the monument for a support line and started to kick in the glass, but it did not break.

{Its ballistic glass, your going to need more force. I recomend you try an explosive web, it should be able to break the glass without causing unwanted damage.}

Peter: "I have explosive webs?!"

{Yes, Varen made it himself.}

Peter chose the explosive web and shot it at the window. Upon contact it blew up the window making an entrance.

Peter swung himself in just in time since the elevator gave in and started to fall. Peter used a ricochet web that bounced off a sheet of metal and webbed the elevator stopping its decent.

Peter gave a sigh of relief, but the doors holding his feet broke and pulled him along with the elevator.

He heard a bunch of screams coming from the elevator, one of which made his heart stop. It was Liz, Liz was in the elevator. Along with Ned. Peter landed inside the elevator when it got stuck, but Peter's landing made the Elevator start to fall again.

Peter webbed the top of the monument ceiling and put his feet and the ceiling of the elevator. He slowly started to pull them up.

Spider-Man: "Dont worry, I got you guys."

Ned: "Yes!! Haha-"

Ned started to cheer and jump around as he was happy to be alive.

Spider-Man: " Hey big guy quit moving around!"

Ned: "So sorry sir!"

They finally made it back to the top of the monument as the kids in the elevator quickly made their way out. Liz hesitated for a moment, and the web that was holding the elevator snapped.

Liz started to scream as she fell. Peter quickly shot a web to lizzie's hand stopping her from falling.

Peter: "Its ok, I got you. I got you."

Liz was now safe and no casualties happened.

{This is your moment Peter, Kiss your girlfriend. It would be so romantic!}

Before Peter could do anything, his webbing broke making Peter fall through the dark elevator shaft.
