143 Afterword

Ay, we're done! I can't believe I finished a novel; its like super surreal. It was really fun to write and throughout the almost two month long journey I think I did alright for my first attempt at writing a novel. Here are some stats that I want to leave behind~

In these two months (At the time of me writing this) we got 1,826,000 views, almost 240,000 words in 142 chapters, and a total of 3,721 people liked the novel so much, they added it to their library. One my best week, this novel finished ranking 25th place with 2,384 spirit stones; which in my opinion is pretty insane, since I've never made the effort to hustle for spirit stones~

Anyways, aside from the stats, I want to thank everyone that stuck around till the end and watched this train wreck blaze through. Honestly, this novel only ever saw the light of day because of my impulsive decision to throw a fanfiction into the online world of Qidian; and it shows. The plot was pretty shallow and even in my opinion, the story only stayed as popular as it was because of the comments that helped guided how the story played out. Even though the story wasn't as good as it could have been, I learned a ton of things that will (hopefully) be implemented on the next novel I release.

About the next novel… I know most people picked for the first one and all… but, I've already started some small editing work on it and the damage is just too bad… Like, it's not as bad as Chojusen's novel plot-wise, but just the way I set it up was very amateurish for a cultivation novel, so I'll have to regretfully cast the novel aside. I know its a bad move to go back on a poll, but seriously, I'd be ashamed to used that novel as my entry into professional writing.

I know some of you won't stick around for the other novel which has a female lead and my reputation will take a sharp hit for backing down from a vote. But, I think the damage to my career by taking this path will be less than if I capitalize on publishing the 61 badly designed chapters of the first novel.

*Edit* Mhmm… I still don't feel right about duping you guys like this so.. Against my "better" judgement, and after rethinking things, lets do this. In this non polling chapter (lol) if you really want me to go use the first novel, I will comment down something for thumbs up; if I get IDK like 30 thumbs up or something. I will quickly edit for the first arc of that novel (45 chapters) and publish it to see if it's as bad as I think. And if the reception isn't too harsh by the time I return from my editing break of Chojusen's novel, I'll continue with it~

Well, to sign off, I'll leave by saying that I will take a couple days as a break and to also fix some of the plot holes and typos on this novel, before returning with the next novel. OH! AND ALSO, PLEASE REVIEW THE NOVEL IF YOU MADE IT THIS FAR. BYE BYE~
