For the person that doesn't want to read this fanfic anymore, I understand. I have been rewriting this story too many times. It's have been 2 years I think if I'm not mistaken.

So go ahead and leave, I'm still doing this because of myself not because of other people but because you guys are the people at the sideline. Your guy's cheers and comments did help me a lot with my writing journey.

But just like I said before and after I won't quit until I am satisfied. So, bye to the people who have stayed long for my story. See you guys in the future I guess when I began writing new fanfic.

For the new readers it is up to you if you want to keep reading or stop please go ahead but please don't announce you are leaving.

Thank you for all of you

"I'm tired," I said, as I walked back home due to the unavailability of a train. Additionally, I have a lot of paperwork to do since I am an accountant. I wish I hadn't pursued this job.

*Sigh*

My life can't get any harder than this. Not only has my brother gone missing, but now my friends have gone missing too. What in the world happened to them?

The police have stated that they are still investigating, but I still don't trust them. They are likely just putting the case on hold like every other missing persons case.

"Dammit," I exclaimed.

I already miss them. Usually, we talk and watch Anime together on Discord.

*Ring, Ring, Ring*

I answered the call and saw that it was my mom.

"Hey, Mom. Is there something you need?" I asked.

"Nothing in particular, I just wanted to check if you're okay," my mom replied with a sad tone.

"I'm perfectly fine, Mom. Don't worry, I won't die," I said cheerfully, hoping to lift her spirits.

Ever since my little brother went missing, she has been feeling down. I also share her sadness, but I can't do much except pray to God.

My mom chuckled upon hearing my response. "I'm glad you're still yourself, Jack. You remind me a lot of your late father. Take care on your way back home, Jack."

"Sure thing, Mom. See you soon," I said before ending the call.

But as I put my phone back in my pocket, I was startled by the blaring horn of a truck speeding towards me.

"Looks like I'll be getting Ise-"

.....

What the hell is happening? Why am I in this white void that feels infinite for some reason?

How the hell am I still alive? This doesn't make any sense. I touch my body and I can feel it. Hold on, I still have my body.

This is bizarre. How is it possible that my body, which should have been crushed by the truck, is intact?

Wait, could I be in the midst of reincarnation or transmigration?

"Yes, you are. You are being transmigrated into the body of a fictional character," a voice said to me. I couldn't discern whether it belonged to a man or a woman, considering the times in my world where there were ongoing struggles with minority groups seeking acceptance while struggling to accept their own original selves. It was quite pathetic, to be honest.

"Are you done talking to yourself?" the person suddenly materialized in front of me, their face completely absent except for a pair of glowing blue eyes. It was both cool and strange, reminiscent of anime, which doesn't always translate well unless you're skilled in editing, like Jalex Rosa.

"Thank you for the compliment, Jack Wright."

How are you able to read my mind? Actually, never mind that. You must be some omnipotent being with a lot of free time.

"Yeah, that's kinda true. But here, I'll give you a choice. Will you be transmigrated or go to the Afterlife and face judgment from the fairest Judge who will likely send you to Hell?"

"The Afterlife. No doubt about it. I'm not risking my life for some temporary pleasure or power. If you offer this choice to my little brother or my friends, they would probably accept it," I replied.

"They did accept the choice, but unfortunately, they died during the process due to their own mistakes," the person said, bowing to me. "I am deeply sorry, but there is nothing I can do."

"W-what do you mean by that?" I asked, feeling a mix of confusion and concern.

"Their souls have been erased as a consequence of their mistakes. However, it is my own fault for not guiding them on what to do upon arrival," the person explained.

"They are dead, right? Please tell me," I asked urgently, needing confirmation about the fate of those closest to me.

"They have been completely erased from existence. All of them. I am truly sorry, Jack," the person replied solemnly.

My entire world is crumbling, one piece at a time. My friends James, William, Alexander, Henry, Samuel, Matthew, Christopher, and my beloved little brother Benjamin. They are all gone.

Out of pure anger, I swiftly threw a punch at the man's face with all my strength, but he remained unfazed, not even flinching.

"Why didn't you do anything to save them?!" I shouted, consumed by frustration.

"I am unable to intervene. I deeply apologize," the man offered his apology once again.

Filled with rage, I landed another punch on his face and snapped, "Apologize sincerely if you truly mean it. You can't even make a difference."

"But I can bring them back," the man uttered.

"How? There's always a catch, what is it?" I asked through gritted teeth.

"Transmigrate into the body of Yuuto Kiba and survive in the DxD world without triggering the destruction caused by an omnipotent being. This world has become insanely difficult. Are you willing to accept it?"

"I will do it. Send me now," I demanded, urging to be sent immediately.

"Wait, before I do that, I will provide a briefing on what you should and shouldn't do in DxD to prevent any world-ending consequences."

"Tell me then," I demanded, eager to know the details.

"Alright, here we go," he faceless dude summoned a large holographic screen.

.....

I couldn't believe what I had just witnessed. All of them had died due to their interference in Issei's life.

"Do you understand now? The Boob Goddess has already chosen Issei as her avatar. Please refrain from making the same mistake as your friends and brother did," the faceless dud explained.

"But Henry didn't interfere with Issei's life like that. He merely took over Kiba's body and eliminated the original Kiba, yet the world still started collapsing on its own. It doesn't make any sense," I questioned, puzzled by the inconsistency.

"Well, let's just say I don't have the answers. But now, you must not kill or harm Issei in any way, and you mustn't take away his Longinus. That is the only way to ensure the world won't be destroyed," the faceless dude stated.

"I understand, and I also need to become strong enough to kill that bitch, right?" I said with a grin.

"Yeah, are you ready, Jack? Or should I say, Kiba now?" the faceless dude said.

"Of course, I will make sure that bitch pays for what she did to my friends and my little brother," I said confidently.

"You will receive all of Yuuto Kiba's memories, and I have enhanced the Sacred Gear that you will be using," the faceless dude explained before sending me into the new Yuuto Kiba's body.
