Saintly Life Repleneshing Qi

The hooded figure stared quietly at Julong's terrifying Genesis Qi, almost in what seemed to be a mix of both shock and fear. In reality, under the hood, escaping the eyes of those watching, he was smiling.

It wasn't a smile of arrogance, but a sincere smile, one with an ulterior motive, one which no one had any clue of.

His own Genesis Qi burst forth. It rose like the wind, brushing the whole top of the mountain forming into a green Phoenix that took over the sky.

"Wan Julong, I would like to introduce you to my Grade-5 Genesis Qi. It is known as the Saintly Life Replenishing Qi. It is a Qi generated from the life force of everything around it, in other words, it is sheer vitality."

"Interesting. I'm sure my Genesis Qi requires no introduction, seeing how you froze up when laying eyes upon it."

"You are not mistaken. The Scripture is quite legendary to the trained eye, only yours is a little different, the only reason I was a little taken aback was because your Dragon looks a lot like something very ancient."

Julong didn't reply. Instead, he waved his hand, sending his Dragon toward his opponent. In a burst of extravagant gold, it appeared in front of the hooded figure, ready to devour him. It didn't get much further, however, as the Phoenix made from Saintly Life Replenishing Qi appeared in front of him.

The Phoenix attempted to strike the Dragon, but with unrivaled power, the Phoenix was immediately swallowed whole, akin to being killed.

The Dragon no longer having an obstacle in its wake, continued on its original path. Though, surprisingly a small grunt of amusement was heard from the hooded figure.

All of a sudden, the Dragon ceased moving, almost like it was held in place.

"I told you, my Genesis Qi was sheer vitality. As such, it cannot die, and in fact, can control the vitality inside of other beings. In other words..."

The Dragon spontaneously exploded. It was such a powerful explosion, it would have caused damage to Julong had he not regained control over the berserk Qi before it was able to strike him.

Just like before, above his opponent sat the Phoenix. It made sense why, the creature was able to revive itself from nothing, so of course it would be alive. Even so, it didn't deter Julong. A Phoenix was nothing compared to a Dragon.

His Genesis Qi burst outward once more, creating a silhouette of his figure. Around the flames gold multicolored Genesis Stars appeared, beginning to form a small galaxy around him. The Technique he was casting was nowhere near being complete, but even so, anyone watching would be able to tell just how powerful this Technique was. It was a Mid-Grade Heaven Genesis Technique, and negligent to the audience, Julong's Ancestral Super Nova.

"A Mid-Grade Heaven Genesis Technique!?"

"What a domineering aura!"

"Is he really a Quasi-Alpha-Origin Expert!?"

The crowd at the bottom of the mountain roared in excitement seeing such a Technique begin its deployment. It was truly something unheard of for someone Julongs level to wield such a technique.

The hooded figure was the only one not excited. He made a hand signal, sending the Phoenix toward Julong in an attempt to stop him. Julong let it come, it was clear the Qi was not offensive and was something that penetrated the body. It was something that he would have no issue with thanks to the Primordial Divinity his Ancestral Dragon Spirit bestowed upon him. Such a Genesis Qi. while able to disrupt Julongs Qi, could not make a being like the Ancestral Dragon even turn its head.

"Why can I not disrupt your vitality?"

Julong didn't respond as the galaxy grew larger. The stars were soon overtaken by a heavenly golden array of light, signaling the Technique had been fully formed.

Small pulses of sheer destruction came off of Julong's body every few seconds. Even for the one in front of him, who was many thousands of years older than him, and in a much higher Realm of Cultivation - the power was terrifying.

Once again, he merely smiled at the power Julong exuded. The Phoenix appeared once more overhead, exploding into a beautiful array of green Genesis Qi. It was at that point that an extremely domineering pressure pressed down upon all living things on top of the mountain. In the wake of the now diminished Phoenix, a horrifyingly large sun appeared.

The stone bricks underneath the two began cracking and smashing into nothing under the unbearable pressure it presented them with.

"Heavenly Sun, Solar Flare!"

From the sun, an explosion of magma burst from its surface, heading toward Julong. It was almost like a meteor with its speed, but the power that everyone could feel made it very clear that the two were very different.

Julong smirked at the Technique. While he was impressed, he wasn't expecting anything less.

"Ancestral Super Nova!"

It was like the world froze for a moment. It was like space and time had stopped. Then almost like a wave, up the mountain burst an undulation of power, destroying everything in its wake as it shot forth, meeting the Solar Flare.

The two Techniques clashed, making the complete evisceration of the mountain top ensue. It was such a grand explosion that despite how bright it was, it was impossible for the people watching to look away or close their eyes.

Even the other battles had stopped for a moment to look.

"Such terrifying power!"

"This is the power of a Mid-Grade Heaven Genesis Technique!?"

Uproar was increasingly present in the hyperactive crowd who were only seeing such powerful Techniques for the first time. They quite simply couldn't believe their eyes, little did they know, such power was not typical of a Heaven Genesis Technique, this was something only the Envoys knew.

"This kid's a monster!"

Mu Wuji couldn't contain his outburst. He was extremely taken aback by the power displayed. The Mid-Grade Heaven Genesis Techniques displayed must have been very high tier because the amount of destruction they could feel from the collision was not normal, and unusually high.

"Such powerful Techniques. I have never seen Techniques of that level with such destructive power. Surely these have to be comparable to some lower tier High-Grade Heaven Genesis Techniques."

The one who spoke was a beautiful girl with long brown hair, dressed in yellow and green robes. She was the Envoy of Hundred Flowers Fairy Palace. A bizarre Sect that only accepted female disciples.

"I must agree. Such Techniques, however, will have adverse effects on that Wan Julong who is only a Quasi-Alpha-Origin Expert."

Even the Sacred Palace Envoy set aside his pride and had to agree, though not without taking a chance to add in a small insult to Wan Julong.

"That still remains to be seen. We will see when they come out from the explosion. But what you say does have a point, unfortunately. I don't know how a Fourth Layer Alpha-Origin Practioner got into the Saint Remains Domain, forcing them to use such Techniques, but there is not much we can do about it now. All we can do is watch."

Mu Wuji could only agree with what the Sacred Palace's Envoy had said. Even if it wasn't the cost of casting the Technique, the Explosion would surely do some damage to the boy.
