38 Priceless

Now back inside of the pool, Julong was once more sitting at the bottom, momentarily watching Tuntun drag Zhou Yuan down toward the bottom toward the Saint Tablet before he closed his eyes.

According to what Lu Luo had said, the real competition for the greatest blessing wasn't for another 2 or 3 weeks, giving them all plenty of time to further cultivate int eh Golden Pools.

In his battle against Wu Huang, Zhou Yuan would surely find both the Saint Rune on the Saint Tablet and the power of the Golden Pool truly incomparable to anything else he had been able to Cultivate with up until this point. Such a thing would also hold true for both Lu Luo and Zhen Xu, as they were on the verge of breaking through into the Alpha-Origin Realm, something this pool would likely allow them to achieve.

Thinking this, Julong couldn't help but feel even more motivated. He sat down at the bottom and began to draw Genesis Qi into his body at an even more rapid pace than what he had before when Cultivating at the bottom of the pool.

It was like a river before, but now it was something akin to a waterfall, allowing it to run off into him at an unrivalled pace.

Three weeks quickly passed with him sitting down in the depths of the legendary pools. In this time he had made significant progress, achieving a high mastery over the Advanced Stage, allowing him to be qualified as a Quasi-Alpha-Origin Expert.

Just thinking back on the extreme amounts of progress he had made by spending nearly 2 months inside of the Domain, had him shaking with excitement for his future. No one else except for another Super Genius would be able to Cultivate to such a level so quickly, even with the unrivalled enhancements that the Domain provided him. It was a shame though since he was sure there was never going to be anything else like it after he left. All the other Realms were much more difficult, and with that, powerful.

Swimming up to the surface of the pool and poking his head out, the first thing that caught his eye was the now much more extravagant Tablet in the sky. It had gone from a rather bland, blank slate with a few glowing names on it, to a Tablet filled with the names of the Geniuses who had either made astounding battle achievements or after reading a few of the achievements, had stepped into the Alpha-Origin Realm.

He trained his gaze onto the 3 individuals that were standing on the side of the pool and began swimming toward them. They soon noticed the splashes he was making in the water, fronting their attention toward him.

"Wan Julong, you're awake!"

Lu Luo was as per usual quite energetic.

He merely nodded his head after getting to his feet, flushing himself with Qi to dry himself, before getting dressed in his usual attire.

"So what has happened in the time I was Cultivating at the bottom of the Golden Pools?"

Zhou Yuan was the first to answer.

"Overall 38 people have gotten their names engraved onto the Tablet. I'm sure you have already figured it out, but it can be either from combat or reaching the Alpha-Origin Realm."

"I noticed. Some of the names have such things written underneath them. Speaking of, congratulations on reaching the Alpha-Origin Realm, Zhen Xu, Lu Luo."

Both the aforementioned smiled at him, gratefully giving him their thanks.

"I am surprised at how discerning your gaze is, Wan Julong. It is in all honesty, rather terrifying."

Zhen Xu couldn't help but shake the danger he felt from someone being able to read him so easily.

"Haha... Don't worry, I may be able to tell some more intricate things, but I cannot see everything."

Zhen Xu laughed nervously, he was sure what Julong had said was the truth, but it didn't make him feel any better.

"Either way, my main concern is that Wu Huang, Ye Ming and his entourage have also made substantial progress. While I also got stronger, the match between me and Wu Huang will still be very tough."

Zhou Yuan showed his concern openly, there was no point in hiding it, after all, many people were not rooting for him in the slightest. He would just have to prove them wrong.

"Do not worry, I'm sure there is a little more time before the battle for the Greatest Blessing occurs."

Lu Luo hearing this only scratched the back of her head nervously.

"About that... I'm not so sure. While the Domain changes every time it closes, the Greatest Blessing on average is supposed to appear around now. It might even be late in comparison to prior ventures into the Domain."

"So, the Blessing should appear any day now or even today?

"Yes."

Julong didn't have a problem with the timing of such an event being so soon, but admittedly he did want to at least test out some of his power before it took place.

That would prove to be nothing but hope, however, as the Tablet in the sky began to glow once more. It shone an incredible gold, as the foundation of a tower slowly came into existence. All the names faded and were replaced by large words, able to be read no matter your location in the Domain.

"All 38 people with their names engraved on the Tablet may enter the Saint Tower. The one who ascends to the top may obtain the Greatest Blessing."

As if the gold aura that had priorly made the names glow had gone towards the people with the same namesake, their bodies began to be overtaken by a golden pillar of Genesis Qi.

All of those at the Golden Pool were glowing gold, all except for Tuntun, who seemed to be excluded since he was a Genesis Beast.

"What timing... Just as we were talking about it."

Julong could only shake his head at the almost comedically timed event. Zhen Xu also saw the humour in it, making his own remark, a small snicker off the back end.

"Perhaps it was waiting for you to finish Cultivating."

Before anything else could be said, their figures were completely overtaken, just like how they would be when using a teleport array, and were transported away in a stream of light, taking them to a platform of light at the bottom of the newly formed tower.
