22 Steel Puppet

There is slimy liquid all over me. It wasn't pure water when Soul was doing whatever he is inside the water tank. Jack has done a great job.

All this mess... I'd feel better after a cold shower. Feeling somewhat unfamiliar with the room, I noticed this isn't the room assigned to me. No windows and the door is at the side wall, everything seemed different aside from the same size of the room.

There is a shower here, a water tank decorated with four mythical beast and a hot tub.

A low buzzing sound seems to come from the bubbling water in the hot tub. A mild citrus smell make its way towards my nose. The smell alone makes the small hair on my neck stand straight. A hot bath wouldn't hurt, citrus would make the bad smells go away.

I've decided to just soak in the hot tub for a while. Laying down inside the hot tub I let down a deep sigh. The warm water is just at the right temperature making me feels like my body melted down and mixed together with this warm and tangy water. Closed my eye to enjoy this moment.

When I came back down to my body, there, in front of me stood my loyal butler, Jack. I smiled and greet him.

"A very good morning Jack."

"Very good morning indeed Mister Lux." He swiftly replied with his right hand crossed and slightly bowed.

"How are you feeling master? Are you hungry? I've brought three sets of lunch for you in the dining room."

"Dining room?" I wondered when did I have a dining room and a bathroom.

"I've taken a liberty to remodel the rooms adjacent to your's master. Since you will be here for some time, I would like to ease your everyday activities and most importantly, having no one disturb you. This bathroom is to the left of your study room while to the right is the dining room. Should i remodel more rooms Mister Lux?"

At a loss of word due to my butler's efficiency at tending to my needs, I lay motionlessly thinking of how much time would be needed to remodel the two new room of mine.

"Say Jack, How long was I in that tank again?"

"Five days have passed since you entered the pool. Today is the sixth day of registration period master. Tomorrow would be the last day and there will be an opening event the next day."

The butler continued. "Regarding those two girls master, the blond is from the Leo family. The petite one is Nina Raven. I don't think anything could happen to the Raven City master but i had this strange feeling..."

"It's been quite a while since we've heard anything from that city. Since there is two days free time, Let's visit them. Jack, change the dining room to the gym and live exercise room. It's time to let Steel Puppet Number 1 have some action. Send code orange to the second vanguard platoon, Bell. Order them to move near the Raven City, use a monster disguise and they are to remain absolutely hidden from others. Secondary objective is to support Steel Puppet."

"It will be done within an hour. Please enjoy the food first, master."

I reluctantly left the warm embrace of the hot tub. Though the citrus smell still lingers, the warm feeling was gone. I stood for a while.

Auto dry function on this suit is the best not to mention I grow stronger just by wearing it. I walked slowly to the door and entered the my original room. *Sigh* People avoid me like a plague. I wonder just how many room were emptied and avoided because I stayed here. Still, I couldn't say no to the privacy.

Oooh this aroma of spice. *Haaa cthoom!*

Is it curry again? Potato and chicken. Always loved this but isn't three set too much? I don't feel hungry at all but I'll just devour it all.

*Burrb* That was delish, I said while rubbing my tummy. Let's see if the room is ready, I just need my top hat though... and a chair.

Walking in, I saw a large empty space... Did that old man get three empty room for this gym? He is efficient...

Walking on the gold carpet, I only focussed my gazed to the throne on the far end. I'm worried about vomiting blood if I look around. I'll just reprimand him when I finish walking the puppet.

My back full of cold sweat, I reached the soft and comfy fur throne. I quickly put my top hat and sat down. I noticed someone saying something to me but I don't want to hear it. Please don't make me suffer a heart attack, Jack. I closed my eyes and at that instant I could feel my consciousness moving somewhere else to a foreign body.

I opened my eyes, almost blinded by the bright light. *Curses* Who sets this thing to gaze at the sun. Lowering my head I opened my eyes again. Feeling numb all over my body I cursed again. These thousands of people, why can't they come even close to my butler. I asked for receptors of touch, smell, taste and pain to be added. It's been a month and no improvement could be felt other than that troll making me gaze directly at the sun.

Let's get this done and over with. A translucent blue map appeared on my view along with a huge arrow pointing at the direction to Raven City.

"Seriously are they saying I'm that much direction challenged? I know which way to go... Should I fire a few peoplr from the R and D team?"

"Oh I don't remember this tree being this tall, did they grow so much during a month. Wait how come there is a hill here. A desert? In the middle of a forest... I'm lost? Nope, there is it, Raven City."
