G Y M is the word written on the big, humongous double door. The door is around 15 foot tall and 12 foot wide. It is made of the current strongest metal 'dynamium' which is almost impervious to any impact. I had the opportunity to attend the prototype testing which was half a year ago.

A 2 inches thick dynamium steel plate wall was erected in Testing Field 04. This is the place where we did all kind of ballistic test, sometimes even a bomb is drop by airship if necessary. In the viewing stand located about 250 meters away from the wall and protected by the always improved Lux's Shield is where most of the important people stand. Even if the nuclear from old days were to hit this stand, there would be absolutely no harm to us. Such is the confidence placed upon our shield. It is the same shield which protected all the major cities now though I am not aware of all the improvement made to them.

*Souuuu!* *boom!* *Krush!!*

The wall remains standing without even a dent.

"Impressive!" I exclaimed.

"Congratulations!" "A new height in metals." "Lux is the greatest!"

Young people these days, they got excited way too easily but I must admit this dynomium is truly impressive. Being able to withstand a shot of this electromagnetic railgun is an achievement you can be proud of. It fires a projectile which goes at a speed of around 3400 meter per second. Even a tank would be destroyed. Now this very steel stood in front of me as a mere door. My cute humans work so hard and efficient, I should increase their live quality.

I placed my palm on the door and then the double door slides apart revealing a very bright scene as if it was on another dimension. Taking a step forward into the white light I feel so light as if I'm floating before all the weight suddenly came back. Disoriented, I nearly made a scene of the world's greatest inventor falling to the ground. Luckily I managed to find my footing or else... my reputation.

The first thing that I can think of is

that this place is vast. What gym, this place could rival the main hall with its size and not to mention there are at least 3 floor here with the big spiral staircase going up and down. It seems they are around hundreds of people here. Now then what exercise shall I do?

As usual let's just observe the surrounding first. There are a big counter right in front and guards could be seen patrolling all over the place. I walked to the counter to see what it really is. Taking out my pocket watch, the time reads 5.15. It should be evening. Dinner is at 8 so i have about 2 hours in here.

"A very good morning isn't it?" I said to the people at the counter.

"What morning? Isn't it ev-" her mouth was closed by the person beside her. She hurriedly said "Yes. It is a fine morning Mr Lux."

Confused by her friend's weird behavior, she raised her face to get a good look at me and trembling was what she did when she realized who I was. Am I a scary person? However I look at, it doesn't appear to be a trembling caused by excitement to meet me. She bowed to me.

"I apologies for the mistake Mr Lux. It is indeed a very good morning."

My character is a mess. Damn that Soul for messing me up. I bowed a little and said to her. "Please don't get too worked up like that. I was too focussed reading some document and didn't aware the passage of time. So is it morning or evening?"

The two of them looked troubled over this simple question. Ah they are too afraid to tell me I'm wrong. Is this the kind of person I am?

"It is 20 past 5 mister and yes it is evening." A young man in his twenties answered.

"Usually these pretty sister are too noisy gossiping around it's weird that they are quiet. I am in charge of this Help Desk today. If you have any trouble or in need of someone to talk to, we are always here. You can call me Zach." He extends his hand to me and gave me the brightest smile I've seen today. I did the same in return. "Lux. Mr Lux will do."

"You mean that Gray Lux?! Woah I've always looked up to you. These sisters must be too shocked too say anything. They are the one who told me all about you. Is it true that you are the one who saved us all with the Lux's Shield? How..."

I am bombarded with questions so much that I hardly have a time to even answer it.

"Well what are you doing here anyway? Aren't you supposed to be super busy doing research to beat up all those nasty looking beast?"

"Did you know about the rules i made mandatory? It is supposed to be mandatory but all I see from the report it seems those upperclassmen doesn't have the slightest intention to enter. Perhaps if they see me here they too would come."

"Yup, these noisy sisters wouldn't stop talking about it saying that it was only for the good of everyone if calamity ever descended upon us again. At least the people here would have a better survival chance with the experience gained here at the academy. Still you are a weird one. I mean coming to the gym wearing a luxury suit with a book in hand people would think you are heading to a library."

"You wouldn't understand, I can only wear these kind of clothing. Aside from being a classy suit it also serve as a defensive purpose. This is made of the third generation Hope material. Anyway do you have a chair that can go in the pool upstair?" I said while pointing at the visible glass pool above. There are even some people lookin here from above.

"Kyaa! Hope metal? The one that is used on the spaceship? Can i touch them? pretty please." Said the previously trembling girl in a high pitched voice. Is she seriously doing that puppy eyed look?

"Hey Karen are you seriously touching the suit? No fair i want to touch them too. Can we get an autograph Mr Lux? Oh wait may we have a selfie?" I was worried about nothing. It seems they are just too shocked to see me here just now. Wait it's rare for me to be wrong.

"Maybe later. I want to have a good read first. Could you pretty girls bring me a chair by the pool? I'll be upstairs."

"Oh my god! Did he just call us pretty?" Those girls now are over reacting over the word pretty. Is it real or just a pretend. I can't tell with how bad my head are right now. I need to relax first.
