14 Gray Lux

In the Central Continent there are 5 major cities. Located on the north east of the continent is one of the major city called The Mystic Serpent. Currently in one of the highest building inside the city there are a meeting of the world most influential man.

"This is day 2 of our meeting. Let us discuss the matter of Gray Lux. What do we know about him?"

The meeting takes place inside a dark room, so dark that most of the people in the meeting couldn't be fully seen.

"There are 8 major cities in the world. 5 in central continent. East, south west and north west each have one. A major city is so big it can be called a country in the past and Gray Lux is a dictator in one of the major cities."

"Gray Lux is a mad genius. At the age of 15 he have already passed Mechanical Engineering at Oxford, one of the best university in the olden age. His thesis about Faster Than Light received many praise and was used as many space ship design. It is still being used as a base line model today."

"Yes he is mad. My report states clearly he talks to himself often. It even mention of Puppets and Soul. Clearly a crazy man."

"Which genius isn't mad? You are a normal person so of course you wouldn't understand the thought of a genius."

"He said he 'created' a new kind of metal. Hope is the metal that make it possible for space exploration while also brought calamities on our world."

"He also saved us by developing the energy shield technology brought to us by The Frontiers."

"Isn't that the same as making a virus and antivirus by those tech company?"

"No it's not. If it weren't for the Frontiers repelling the Farmers, we would all have died."

"Those Frontiers are not one bit trustworthy. Remember that they said it would take about 10 years for those beast to start rampaging around. A year later, beast tide wipe most of the countries. We suffered huge setback after that. If it weren't for Lux Corporation going all out in researching those technology and make it usable for us, I doubt we would be here talking."

"They also said it should take around 10 years before the technology could be used if we all cooperated. But it only take Lux Corporation alone researching it for just a month short of 2 years."

*Tink Tink* The man who started this discussion knocks the table with his ring slowly.

"Enough about his achievement. Even those Frontiers people which to take him in. They have specified it would be before the 10th year mark from the Farmers incident. That could mean they speculated our world is doomed and they wish to get out a gem like Gray Lux out of danger and maybe contribute to their fight against the Farmers. Can anyone here tell me the flaws he have?"

"What do you mean by that? If a calamity is truly descending, we have less than a year to prepare. All the reason we need Gray Lux. He is our hope to survive this hell."

"I asked for his flaw and for your information, I don't agree to hand him over just like that. I would make him disabled first before doing that."

And just like that the 4 people at the table disappeared like they didn't exist.

"Out of 8 Major cities, 1 is the 'Savior', 4 is retarded fool who depends on others. 3 is what remains. Now that those fools who can't think for themselves have gone, why don't we start the real discussion."

"Yes, it is the only reason I refuse to believe in the Frontiers. At that time we were all blinded by fear and luckily Gray Lux was there to brighten things. I remember his exact word. 'My heart offers you the most sincere thanks for repelling those sentient robotic lifeforms but my brain screams Get The F*ck out of our world and don't come back.' At first we don't understand why would he tried to chase them away and he didn't even attend physically. At that time we wished to gain more technology from the far advanced civilization and we all scorned him for that. But after we got our satellites back online, I imagine everyone cursing those Frontiers. They destroyed the very world we have been standing on."

"Sir there is urgent news i need to be delivered. Gray Lux officially enrolled in White Tortoise Academy."

"He's reading books underwater sir. It's been 10 minute and I'm afraid he will drown soon."
