5 A big hall

It didn't take long, at most only 15 minute have passed since that baldy took off with my I.D card. I'm not worried about being confined here. I'm curious at his action. What went through his head, did he even consider what are the consequences of his action? Still right as I had felt full from eating the admiration of these young people, the bald guy and a bearded guy came into view.

Ah that bearded guy is Dominic. Charles Dominic. I still remembered making him a principle of this academy. He used to be a manager at a renowned human resource company. He didn't fail my expectation all these years. The report were always what I expected.. It's just that I wanted more.

Their expression were too obvious as if they were intentionally screaming to grab my attention. They needed more practice. Emotions is a double edged sword, you can stronger with it and your opponents are able to manipulate you. That bald guy is obviously anxious.. frightened i might say and the look in his eye is that of a man who lost his way of life. Dominic on the other hand had a frown on his face, possibly thinking too much how to sail through this situation. With a bow he greeted me.

"Good day Director Lux. Forgive me for my teacher's rash action. To what do i owe a visit from you?"

Ah I truly have a well discerning eye, able to spot a talent like this.

"Isn't it obvious Principal Dominic. What else could it be other than to register in your academy."

"Surely you have a reason to register right? I'm very sure that someone of your caliber would no longer need to attend this insignificant survival camp."

"Are you saying all those sacrifice, all those death and those warrior trainings to be our savior as insignificant?"

Straightening my back to fully exert my presence on him I said again.

"And did I not tell everyone. Every citizen is required to enter the academy. It is a mandatory rule. As a citizen of this city how could I not enroll here?Nobody is above the law. It took me 4 years to relegate task to my trusted officers. Even then I still have to read each and every report made to me. I apologize for taking a long time to be able to register. So, What exactly is a problem for me to enroll in the academy?"

The principal stepped back a bit and looked to be struggling to make a choice. Finally he grunted and make a decision.

"Sure then. There is no problem at all and as we all know it, Everyone is allowed to enter the academy. Wait that sounded wrong. Everyone is Required to enter the academy and you will be payed allowances if you did. Mr Alex, please register our Mr Lux here. He's been waiting a long time."

"It wasn't just me. Everyone here wished to wait for me being registered first and they all waited for me. Thank you everyone for keeping me company."

After waving to everyone behind me, shaking the hands of those who are close and hugged some of them I was overwhelmed with shouts from everyone. It was a cheer though not a shout. Bowing a little towards the crowd I proceeded to register.

Sitting down in the chair bt the table, placing down my ID cards again and placed my right palm towards a strange device. Labeled on the machine was Blood Extractor 06 and a few caution of dos and don'ts. Guiding my hand while occasionally shivering a bit, Mr Alex did a good job as I didn't feel any pain, only a slight discomfort. Once again the technology improvement sure does feel good. In the old days you would suffer through a needle insertion for blood extraction. Now you would just place your arm inside a tube like machine and it will be over soon depending on the amount of blood anyway.

Then I was guided by the principal towards the large hall located inside while once again received a loud cheer. A couple of odds cheer entered my head though. Like 'We will always vote for Mr Lux.' 'Lux Corporation is our savior.' 'Mr Lux the people's leader.'

I chuckled. There was never any vote. Savior? I started all this calamities. People's leader? Yes I am a leader. Just don't ask me where I lead you though. People is easily mislead. Emotion is a very terrifying thing.

Our steps stopped. While lost in my own thought I have arrived to this large hall. Jade Hall is the name I've given it. It have a very large size. Probably bigger than the biggest stadium of old age. The architecture is very nice, there are 8 main pillars supporting this octagon hall. Every pillar is carved with mythical beast which belong to the 8 major cities in the world and of course in the middle is a platform depicting a Silver Turtle's Shell. This whole academy is above a Silver Turtle's shell infact. Ah what a brilliant design I have made.

Anyway this hall is designed in a way resembling those theaters old the olden age with the stage being the platform in the middle but with a massive size difference. It is built to acomodate around 100 000 people at a time. The farthest seats platform can hold a maximum of 64 000 seating capacity. The middle seating platform have a capacity of 32 000 people and the nearest to the center would have 16 000 people capacity. Of course the center platform would be able to hold 15 000 people. Just imagine the size it would take. Very suitable to be a main hall right? Of course we consider those in the farthest not being able to see a thing and thus we placed a gigantic screen just above the center platform for everyone's viewing satisfaction.

Currently I am sitting at the third platform so I can personally tell you I can barely see a human standing at the center platform. You can't tell the head apart from the shoulder and I have pride in my vision at this age. Yeah I can't tell the colour of his hand or face and he looks tapered at the head and legs. This hall is really big. Luckily there's a big screen up above clearly focusing on her.. I can't tell a man and a woman with my bare eyes at that distance.
