Man that was stupid

I shoot the grappling hook to hook onto the roof and lower myself onto the floor, I land on the floor and retract the grappling hook and start running towards the slightly open door.

I look through the door and see that Gideon is still awake, 'Should I just wait until he is asleep?' I think to myself.

'Nah this is part of the trill anyway' I run into the room when I notice Gideon paying attention on his scale model of the mystery shack, 'Creepy, but he doesn't even know me or Mabel he only finds out about us in 'The hand that rocks the Mabel'"

I run up to the leg of the chair he is sitting on, I jump up and latch on one of the many intricate designs running all the to the top of the chair. I start climbing up and eventually reach the top.

I look over Gideon's shoulder and spot the amulet, I contemplate what to do now. I could just use my grappling hook to hook onto the roof and swing towards the amulet, hold it then use it to escape.

That's the fun way, the boring way is me just waiting for him to sleep. My more logical side is telling me not to risk it, but on the other hand if I do take it in front of him then he has more reasons to hate the Mystery Shack.

Which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you see it, this would be practically provoking him to actually summon Bill starting the event's of season 2 and consequently Weirdmageddon.

I steal my resolve and with a grin on my face, aim my grappling hook at the roof. 'This is so stupid' I muse then jump and fire the grappling hook.

I swing over Gideon's shoulder and I could see his look of surprise at a small human using a grappling hook to fly over him, I near the table and retract the hook and roll as I land on the table and start running towards the amulet that's less then 10 cm from me

"What in tarnation!" I hear Gideon shout, and see a shadow cover me which I'm assuming is his hand trying to grab me.

I grab the amulet and command it to float me into, I feel a something invading my body and the amulet starts glowing, the glowing aura surrounds my body and I shoot of the ground with the Amulet.

I attempt to fly towards the open window but instead fly straight into the light hanging from the ceiling, 'This is way harder then Gideon made it look guess he practiced."

"Get back down here you vermin!" I hear Gideon shot while jumping up and down on his chair, I ignore him since I am currently too busy tying to stabilize midair.

I finally make my self out of the window and shoot across the yard in front of the house and the street and crash into the bush I left the size crystal in. I get up and hear Gideon shout, "Mark my words you vermin I will find you and destroy you!"

'geez man why you so angry I only took your powers be grateful I didn't take your journal too' I muse to myself, I use the amulet to make my self and the size crystal to fly away at top speed.

I continue flying until I reach the forest and land on the ground, I then use the size crystal to return my self to normal size, "ugh I feel sick" I groan because turns out excessive use of the amulet has side effects and it certainly didn't help I was smaller then the amulet where as the amulet was meant to be used with bigger people.

I look at the amulet in my hands and smile, "that was fun... and stupid" I sigh and pocket the amulet and make my way back to the Mystery Shack.

I arrive back at the shack and pull the amulet out of my pocket and use it to float up onto the roof, I jump through the open window and change into my sleeping clothes, I sit on on bed and use some scissors and turn the tie into a simple armband that I will turn into something better later.

I tie it onto forearm and head to bed.

For the past week I have been practicing using the amulet by the gravity falls lake, it's not fishing season anymore so there is barely anyone here and when there are we just go to scuttlebutt island.

Yes we, I told Mabel I found this amulet that let me use telekinesis and let her use it a few times, I also showed her the size crystals and gave her the size torch.

I am currently sitting in the cave behind the waterfall that has become my man cave, that no one comes to since I don't need Soos' boat to get here anymore, I am working on Mabel's own amulet to let her change her own size easier since its kinda inconvenient to point a torch at herself.

After a couple of hours it was done, it pretty much just Gideon's amulet just a pinkish purple but she can rotate the crystal in its socket to change it from increase to decrease it also uses a really small light to activate it which could be charged.

I also made myself a single fingerless black glove and socketed the crystal that makes the amulet on the inside of it so I just have to close my hand to access its powers. I didn't trust that the crystal would still work when broken apart since Mabel just shattered it in canon so I just did this.

I stand up and use the amulet to part the waterfall and fly back towards shore, alot of the things that happened in canon haven't happened like "The Inconveniencing" because I don't like Wendy so I never went out of my way to get her attention, well it did happen I just wasn't there but Wendy and her friends survived.

The "Dipper vs. Manliness" plot never happened because I could care less about that stuff but Gideon does still hate the mystery shack and his tourist trap still exists he just isn't a real psychic anymore. I will probably still look for the minotaur's just to ask them to teach me to use a spear but that's for later.

I also found the photocopier Dipper used to make clones of himself but I didn't even touch that thing.

I arrive at the shore and start walking back home, I head inside and up to our room and see her sitting on her bed playing with that goat I never bothered to remember the name of.

"Mabel I finished your amulet" I say and Mabel turns around to look at me.
