35 The juice may have been dangerous for my health

I thought I had become a god after the injection, but I was simply hallucinating as I was being revived by the doctors.

Who could have thought that apple juice was not very good for your health if injected into your bloodstream? Not me fore sure.

Enjoy the chapter.

"Let's see what's in today's program..." Aizawa said to himself, looking at his notebook.

He surprisingly enough for everyone, did not appear as tired and lethargic as he usually is.

Today was the second day since the students from the heroic branch of Yuei came back to class after their internship.

"Right. Summer break is fast approaching but of course, it is not a reason to be slacking because of it, just because some of you have some leeway to relax."

He said that part seems to everyone, but his eyes were focusing on one student in particular. The latter had his eyes closed and everyone with good senses could feel the slight weight of their body shifting to heavier or lighter according to his breathing pattern.

It surely was not the first time that he slept in class, surely interested in whatever they were saying since his grades were clearing way above the class's second who should be Momo.

Even though he wants to wake him up himself, he knows that there is no use since he seems conscious even while sleeping.

It was as if he wasn't sleeping in the first place, and clearly, Aizawa couldn't care less about his attitude as long as he was not causing any sort of trouble.

"We'll be going to a summer break forest lodge." Aizawa announced.

At his words, the rowdiest students became loudly cheering at the prospect of going on vacation with their fellow schoolmates.

"Let's give each other dares!" "The baths!" "The fireworks." "We will eat curry since it is summer break right?"

"However..." Once again, Aizawa opened his mouth to speak, however, it clearly announced bad for them since it obligatory means that there's something fishy.

"... Should any of you fall short of a passing grade for the end-of-therm test... Then you are stuck in school, in remedial hell." He finished.

The atmosphere was dead silent but one certain loud red-haired guy quickly immediately encouraged the whole class, and surely himself in the same process. "Let's do our best everybody!"

One week later, it was finally the final week of June. Meaning that there was only one week left for the students to prepare before the end-of-term test.

Some of them were distressed because they did not study at all, and because they were at the very bottom of the class in terms of grade.

While Kaminari and Mina were panicking each one showing their stress differently, one continuously laughing as if she was unconcerned but she was obviously sweating inside. The other one loudly shouting and trying to search for excuses for his failure.

"Let's all do our best! I want to go alongside everybody after all right?" Midoriya said, encouraging the two dunces.

"If you just attend classes normally then you won't get any failing grades." Shoto added, metaphorically stomping on their open wound.

"Hey, you two!" Momo called at the side, gaining their attention.

"I might be able to assist you with classroom lecture stuff." She proposed generously.

Three other students came, asking to tag alongside since they were lacking in some classes.

Obviously, Momo happily agreed since she rarely had any friends at her home.

"Absolutely! I will give you my address later!"

At this moment, Kotei reentered the classroom, a more than magnificent apple juice in his hand.

Walking back to his chair, his eyes went upon Momo since she visibly had something to say to him.

"Say Kotei..."

"Yeah?" He answered, crushing the now empty juice packaging with his quirk to the point where it looked like a really small marble.

"I organize a little studying lesson tomorrow at my house, I know that you don't need it but do you mind coming? You know just to... chill together?"

The whole time she was whispering to him, hoping for the class to not heard their conversation, but some of the girls heard her proposal and shared looks, silently agreeing to pester her with her obvious crush on Kotei.

"Yeah, why not." Kotei replied without many thoughts, throwing the marble to the trash can with perfect accuracy.

In the background, you could have heard someone shouting "Kobe!"

In her mind, Momo was ecstatic about it. She mentally made a note to ask advice from her mother this night.

The next day, the students who wanted Momo to teach them were being led to her house by Kotei.

They were all in their casual clothes.

Kotei was assuredly standing out with his shirt not doing any effort to hide his adonis body.

On their way, they were stopped by a lot of girls of all ages, all wanting Kotei's autograph. Some even proposed more 'services' which were obviously casually ignored by Kotei, much to the jealousy of Kaminari.

"Are we there yet? I don't see a single house here." Mina asked, impatiently.

The road in which they were was certainly devoid of any house.

"Yeah, it seems just like we are in a park or something." Kyoka added.

"It's just here." Kotei said, stopping in front of a gate. It clearly was something that showcased Momo's family wealth.

"I knew she was rich, but this rich?" Sero said, clearly flabbergasted.

Using the intercom, Momo quickly replied and opened the gate, allowing them to enter effortlessly.

A few minutes later, they were doing their homework while Momo was occasionally helping them there and there.

She hoped to be able to spend a little time with him, but her mother almost immediately snatched him away, coming with a bullshit excuse related to his family.

In what could appear to be a living room, Kotei was silently drinking his cup of tea while the middle-aged woman in front of him was narrowing her eyes at him as if trying to decipher some hidden information.

"Are you courting my daughter, young man?" She finally asked, breaking the silence.

Kotei clearly anticipated her question since there was no change in his stoic expression.

"No." He replied almost instantly, making her frown.

"This is not good at all." She said, putting down her empty cup of tea.

This intrigued our main character as he obviously believed that she would have been relieved that no one was trying to 'take away' her offspring.

He lifted one eyebrow, silently asking for an explanation.

"I won't lie to you Kotei, you seem to be the perfect husband and perfect son-in-law. At least, you seem to be the best. Not only are you intelligent, but you also have a bright future in front of you. Your looks are also top-notch so our genes would surely not be wasted." She said the last part with a small chuckle.

Kotei just continued to observe her. His thoughts were simply unreadable as his face did not betray any emotions.

"Are you... encouraging me to seduce and marry your daughter?" He asked after a while, not sure how to reply to this type of direct proposal.

It was not the first time of course, but it was the first that someone with such a high standing asked him directly, with no money involved.

"In short, yes. As you could expect, a lot of people are bothering us to engage their sons to our daughter, eying closely at our fortune and her quirk. I and her father obviously only want her happiness, thus since she seems to have a little interest in you, I wanted to see if you had the same interest in her."

"So, you want me to know that I have your support if I were to pursue her?" Kotei asked once again, wanting to clarify all things.

It was not something that he even considered since he defines himself as a 'Nejiresexual', only attired by Nejire basically.

"Yes. Don't worry, we would understand I would understand if you decide not to. I just want you to know that we are greatly encouraging the relationship you two would have if you ever decide to date." She finally added, taking a sip of tea which was refilled by a nearby maid.

"... I will keep it in mind. I don't promise anything though." Kotei said, shrugging his shoulders.

With this conversation topic, they switched to another one.

One week later, the fateful day arrived.

It was the day of the exam!

After the written exam which was basically a walk in a park for Kotei, they went to one of the test zones to pass the heroic exercise.

The whole class was gathered in front of several teachers, all in their hero uniforms.

"Right, the test exercise will begin shortly." Aizawa announced to the class."

"If you want to head to the forest lodge then we'd better not see any pitiful blunders from you."

At the end of his sentence, a certain mutant animal showed from his scarf.

"Due to various reasons, we're changing the contents of the test starting today!" Nezu announced as he jumped down.

"From now on, we'll focus our tests more on person-on-person battle activities and emphasizing a teaching environment closer to that of real battle!

This means that today will have pairs to engage in combat with one of these educators here!" Nezu finally announced, making some students grow either eager to test themselves or some very worried.

"We will fight against our senpais...?" Ochako asked, visibly being one of the worried students.

"Who you are fighting with and against who has already been decided. The way you tend to move to the quality of your cooperation would be judged by the teacher you have to fight against."

Aizawa then proceeded to announce the teams and their opponent.

"First, we have Midoriya and Juryoku against..."

As if on cue, the bulked-up hero almost appear behind the two students as they turned to look at him.

"I'm here to oblige!"

Midoriya was scared shitless at the prospect of going against the strongest hero in the world, but Kotei was just looking at him, a smirk on his face before his voice could be heard.

"This sounds fun for sure."
