5 Autumn Breeze Dancing in the Shadows (1/2)

In the jade pure realm palace, a majestic and powerful figure, with a halo of light around him, adorned with divine symbols, appeared to be perhaps standing on a cloud. He looked down with compassion and understanding and was portrayed with a strong and commanding attitude, radiating strength and power.

While lightning incense a scroll on the table accidentally fell. Picking the scroll, he walked near a window and opened it.

''After a serious investigation, the murder mystery of the master of Jiang's family has been solved. Lord Jiang Xicheng, a powerful figure in the Jiang family, has been held accountable for the death of the master and the missing important scrolls and treasure. However, Lord Xicheng mysteriously disappeared after the news of the investigation has spread. Unanswered questions remain as to why he decided to flee, and what consequences this will bring to Jiang's family''.

He quickly closed the scroll and placed it back.

Standing atop a balcony in the heavens palace, one could witness a majestic view of the universe stretching out into the horizon. The limitless array of stars twinkles in the night sky, illuminated by a brilliant harvest moon.

Below, the gentle waves of a sunlit ocean sparkle like molten gold. Far beyond the water, lush mountains stretch like a jigsaw puzzle, their peaks hidden by an endless blanket of clouds. The air was as sweet as honey, scented with the floral bouquet of blooming flowers scattered across the land. It was a near-perfect sight, a serene panorama to take in and cherish.

The middle and lower court gods were hurriedly leaving for their work while the upper court guards leisurely strolled around the heavens.

The greetings between the heavens were glorified with divine peace and joy as the gods smiled in a brilliant display of celestial harmony.

An exchange of warm greetings filled the sky with blissful sunshine. Bright rays of happiness and contentment emanating from beams of blissful rays, embraced the gods. A chorus of a divine song of love, joy, and peacefulness reverberated throughout the heavens.

Two newly appointed middle court twin gods were following their Martial arts general Huo Guang, behind when one of them asked, ''General, what happened to Lord Jiang Xicheng?''

The martial arts General Huo Guang stopped and turned around to look at his twin subordinates. He was a towering figure, with bold features and an air of utmost authority. He wore a shining suit of armour that gleamed like starlight, and a long cloak of feathers that shimmered in blues and golds. He had a noble bearing and a noble heart that could be seen in the warmth of his eyes. His gaze penetrated those around him.

His words rang out with the clarity of thunder, ''Mind your work''. Flipping his sleeves, General Huo Guang walked away.

The two twin subordinates followed him behind slowly. The twins Mingtao and Junjun used to work under General Huo Guang before his ascension.

One of the twins, Mingtao said, ''Before coming here, I heard lord Jiang Liwei was very influential in the upper court. But he took his leave from the heavenly Emporer and went to Earth to meet his family but..''

''Hn..'' Junjun was going through some scrolls while listening to his brother speaking nonstop.

Mingtao continued, ''When he reached Earth and successfully found his household, he discovered that his biological father was one of the four Dukes of the newly established Northern Wei Dynasty. It was a joyous event for the notable Jiang family when the Dao child returned. Two weeks later, on an auspicious night, a large banquet was arranged and the Duke announced his younger son's engagement with his niece but something unfortunate happened''.

''What happened?'' Junjun calmly asked, his eyes still focused on the scrolls.

''The elder brother and his seven months pregnant wife were murdered brutally by Lord Jiang Liwei's Glaive. And what's more horrifying, the poor young lady, Master Jiang's niece was also found dead in a pool of her blood. Her body was covered in deep cuts and gashes, made from a sharp Glaive. It was a very horrifying night, it said that all of the Netherworld fell into shock because they never expected such a thing to happen from a mortal and it was almost as if their stability was threatened''.

Mingtao was about to continue when the twin brothers came to a halt. General Huo Guang was standing in front of them, looking irritated.

''If our master Kou feng jin is done shedding light on other's matter then proceed to your real work,' he gruffly said as they both stepped back, acknowledging his authority.

Gulping in nervousness, Mingtao and Junjun bowed simultaneously, ''Yes, my lord.'' They quickly followed the General's order and vanished.

General Huo Guang was left there alone, staring off into the bright sky. Most of these events, he hadn't personally witnessed, however, he could imagine the grief Jiang Liwei had gone through.

Unhappiness filled his heart as he could sympathize with the little mortal. Leaving the broad fountain road, General Huo Guang began to walk back to the middle court main hall. One thing was for sure, though. He had a feeling that Jiang Liwei's journey was only just starting. He wondered what path the young mortal would take and how he'd been dealing with it all.

He sighed, shook his head, and continued on his way. The heavens court was meeting soon, as a decision would have to be made on Jiang Liwei's trial. On his way, he met the middle court God, Fang Bi who was playing a core role in Lord Jiang Liwei's case.
