472 472. Emergency

Alexander was about to walk back to the buildings but suddenly Ragnarok appeared.

"Here you go. Finally caught this sneaky cat," Ragnarok said, in his hand was a defeated Hats. They had run around the whole soul society and were drenched in sweat. Hats looked like he even lost some weight.

Hats looked at Alexander with puppy eyes and thought they'd work on him. "Boss, I was drunk when I said those things. I didn't mean them,"

Alexander walked up to Hats and raised his hand. Hats closed his eyes and waited for the painful fist of love. But it never came.

*Pat Pat*

"If you did it while being drunk then it is fine. People say things they don't want to when drunk," Alexander said and let him go.

Hats stood on the ground with an unapologetic grin.

"Oh, what is this, you are smiling?" Alexander asked in suspicion.

Hats flustered, "What? haha... no no... my face has been like this since I was small. My mom used to say that smiling is good for your health."

"Is that so? Well, go have fun with Chomei and Saiken then. No messing around," he warned him and left, he wasn't petty enough to hurt Hats for such a small thing. Hats was already a family now, no matter how he was.

In just a day, the series of dramatic events quickly became the talk of the Soul Society and even reached Rukongai. The shinigami lost their respect this time. Many souls started questioning themselves about why they were even there and they only existed as cannon fodder for the Shinigami.

They were not too far in that guess but they didn't know the details. Dobby had to throw in a free one-time meal to lighten up the mood. The people of Rukongai had already fallen in love with the tea and Ramen broth of his shop.

At that moment, in Dobby's stall, Blue Fang and Sajin sat together. They were both wolfmen so the friendship was imminent.

"It was certainly a good surprise to meet someone like myself," Sajin said as he drank his tea.

Blue Fang nodded. He was the last of his species and really appreciated meeting Sajin.

"Same here, my friend. I am the last of my people so I never got to meet someone like me. Do you have a family?" Blue Fang intriguingly asked.

"Yes I do, but I am ashamed of going to them as I ran away from there a long time ago," Sajin answered.

"I advise you to go and meet them at least once. Old problems are better solved at the earliest or else they lead to other problems. There was a time when I used to not like humans much, except for Alexander of course. Then I adopted the sweetest child ever and he showed me what it means to be truly kind. Family brings warmth to the heart, Sajin. It is very helpful when dealing with tough situations," Blue Fang advised him.

"Spoken like a wise man, here, drink some more tea and warm your hearts," Iroh refilled their glasses.

"Would you like to come with me and meet my people? I am sure they'd be very surprised to see you." Sajin asked. This way at least he'd have a companion while meeting his family.

Blue Fang agreed, "Yeah, sure. I'd like that,"

Inside the main hall of the first division. Alexander and Ragnarok were present with many more captains and Yamamoto.

"So, you are letting Gin go and demoting him. Well, I won't argue with that. I have given him a small punishment too. Anyway, what are you going to do about your mismanagement of Rukongai? Have you even stepped into districts beyond 60? They are a mess. They are even worse than earth. What's the point of getting to live longer if you're going to be stuck at such a place." Alexander asked.

"They are necessary to keep a balance. If either side decreases or increases too much then the human words, Hueco Mundo and Soul society will fall apart." Yamamoto clarified.

"That still doesn't change the fact that Gotei 13 has done a very bad job at managing Rukongai. Anyway, I will be going to Hueco Mundo now. I will deal with whatever problem is there. Then I will see the Soul King." He announced.

"Let me accompany you," Kenpachi voiced.

"Sure, but you'll have to save yourself," Alexander said.

Kenpachi licked his lips, "I want to try my Bankai. Getting a few test subjects will be good."

"No senseless killing though, oh yes, from the senseless killing I remember. Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi is to stop all his experiments on living people. I will not tolerate such things anymore." He warned everyone. Sending a bit of his power out to drive the lesson to their minds.

"Ragnarok, are you coming or staying?" He asked.

"No, Alex, I will stay and have some tea with my friend Yamamoto. We need to talk about some business," Ragnarok greedily replied.

Alexander didn't ask much about what scheme he was cooking now. He looked at Kenpachi and Douglas, "Let's go."

A distance from him, Hats, Chomei, Saiken, and Yachiru were playing. Seeing them leave, they also ran up to them and jumped on their shoulders. Except, Hats, of course, he was just hovering in mid-air.

After going out, he took out his anywhere door and set the destination.

Once he left, all the captains looked at each other. Being in front of Alexander was so overbearing.

Somewhere in the multiverse,

Medusa and Loki went through dozens of worlds. They spent time with each other while working. To them, it was a neverending honeymoon.

Then, the good news came and they found out that they were going to become parents. They decided not to tell Alexander before birth so they could give him a surprise. The world the couple had come to was relatively modern. There wasn't much supernatural aspect to it except there being some dumb Shinigami who looked like creepy monsters.

Loki had to hypnotize a few humans to prepare them for the birth of his child. He had gone to the realm where Shinigami lived and had made a good friendship with them. Shinigami were a part of the natural order and were not evil beings so there was no reason for him to fight them.

The Shinigamis had sent a female one from among them to help deliver the baby. They worried that because of the different biology of Medusa, the normal doctors wouldn't be able to do it safely. Medusa was mostly a humanoid now but she still had some previous features inside her body.

Loki stood beside his screaming wife. She had held on to his hand tightly. He regretted giving her his arm at that moment. She had grabbed it too hard and he could feel his bone about to crack.

"Push... Medusa..." He cheered her on for the sake of his hand.

After half an hour of labor. The baby finally came into the world. The Shinigami lady held the baby in her arms.

"It's a girl, Medusa," Loki immediately announced.

"YES! I always wanted a daughter." Medusa cheered. But then she realized something.

"Wait, why isn't she crying?" She asked.

Shinigami's face looked saddened, "Forgive me lady Medusa, but... the child was stillborn."

It was like the sky shattered into a million pieces. The news shocked and saddened her immensely. Her eyes became watery and her body shivered. She was in so much shock that she passed out due to a lack of strength.

Loki came out of his stupor and checked Medusa, "Medusa, hey... are you okay?"

He checked her pulse and made sure that she was just unconscious.

He then held his daughter in his arms. Tears welled up in his green eyes. "You deserve to live, this shouldn't have happened..."

But he was helpless. He was not the god of life. He couldn't bring dead people to life. So, he didn't waste time and put his hand down in his pocket and pressed a button.

Bleach World, Hueco Mundo,

Alexander had just crossed the door when he felt the alarm. He took it out and saw it was from Medusa and Loki.

He became serious because out of all his children, he'd say that Medusa and Loki were the least powerful.

"I need to go somewhere. It's an emergency. Hats and Douglas, entertain Kenpachi till I am gone."

Out of nowhere, a white light fell on him and took him along.

Kenpachi checked the ground where Alexander was standing and asked in surprise. "Where did he go?"

"Oh, somewhere in the multiverse. Let's have a tea party," Hats proposed. This was his favorite activity in his original world after all. But then Zulrak came and he had to come to Alexander. Not that he hated it. All the people in Alexander's family were dear to him now. Especially his grandma dearest.
