377 377. Alexander's Security Detail

"Hey, kid. Remember me?" Alexander asked.

Naruto and Jiraiya stopped fighting and looked towards him. Naruto's face was a lot more confused.

"Who are you, old man? Are you a partner of this pervy sage? Another pervy sage?" Naruto voiced his concern.

"Hahaha, no, Naruto. That is the Hokage of this village. He just returned from a war with Iwagakure." Jiraiya told him.

"War? I never heard of any war. Otherwise, my dad would have been sent on it." Naruto confusedly asked.

"He went alone, and also won. Now, Iwa, Suna, and Kirigakure are our friends and will never make war." Jiraiya explained.

Alexander saw the bond between the two and asked, "Is he your new student?"

"No, at least not yet. I am his godfather, according to Minato. I will train him in the future but he keeps pestering me." Jiraiya replied.

Naruto snickered and complained. "Only if you would just teach me I'd let you peek wherever you want. But you use me to watch over your back while you do the bad things."

"Hahaha, okay okay, don't fight now. I can already see that you two will have a perfect teacher-student bond. Anyway, I have to go to my office and check things out." Alexander started walking away.

Just as he was leaving, he noticed Kurama stepping down from his shoulder and going to little Naruto.

"Hoh, so this is the little pup of Kushina? Well, he seems to have good potential but too bad he also inherited the stupidity of that woman." Kurama mocked.

Naruto got angry, "Hey, don't say a bad thing about my mom."

"Yes, Kurama, don't be mean. You know Kushina is a good-hearted girl. And if you had just talked to her once she would have even befriended you. Hate will not take you very far, little one." Alexander lectured Kurama.

Kurama, like an obedient kid, nodded at his words and jumped back on his shoulder.

Once Alexander left, Jiraiya looked back at Naruto, "Okay kid, before I retire from this work, there is still one bathhouse left, you stay on guard while I do my research."

Naruto made an ugly face, "Ehhh... I don't wanna, I'm going home."

"Huh, kids, you will understand my art once you grow up," Jiraiya sighed.

Alexander's journey had taken him longer than he had planned due to having to organize Wind and Earth Country.

He arrived inside his office. It had been renovated and extended now. Now there were five more floors to it. This was done to create more office space for new departments like Infrastructure Development, Social Welfare, Health, Education, and General Administration.

"Dobby, how are you, my friend." He gave him a brotherly hug.

"Good, boss. Things have been going smoothly. I have expanded the village beyond the Hokage Rock and established a new modern city there. I am officially calling it Konoha city and this part will remain as simple Konoha. I don't want to change this place too much as it would lose its charm then," Dobby reported.

"Nice, what about troubles? I am sure someone must have tried to mess around because I wasn't here." Alexander asked.

Dobby smirked and took out a file from his drawer. "Yes, there are some troubling things."

"The first one, Nara clan. They are too lazy for some reason. However, their loyalty to the village is top-notch. I've been trying to get them to use their heads more with their body." Dobby said.

"Haha, well, as long as they're not causing economic damage, being lazy is okay." Alexander laughed it off.

"Then there is the Hyuga clan. They haven't done anything to directly cause a problem but I found a problem inside their clan. I found out about the curse seal that is used by the Hyuga clan in order to protect their kekkei genkai, the Byakugan.

"Members of the clan's main house brand members of the clan's branch houses with the cursed seal so that, when they die, their Byakugan will be sealed away, preventing its secrets from being learned by enemies.

"The cursed seal can also be used by the main house to discipline branch house members, if the main house member uses a special hand seal, the branch house member will experience intense pain, discouraging them from disobeying the main house again. If the pain is great enough, it can even kill the branch house member, destroying their brain cells.

"Members of the branch house are branded with the cursed seal on the third birthday of the clan's next heir or heiress, regardless of their own age at the time. Cursed seals are placed on the recipient's forehead, for which reason they tend to keep it covered, such as with their forehead protector." Dobby intoned.

"Goddamn, this is pure slavery. Did you contact their clan head about this?" Alexander asked.

Dobby nodded, "Yes, but Hiashi got angry and told me that I have no right to meddle in their clan's matters."

"Hmm, well, he is wrong there. If you live in a country you live by their rules. Did you publish the constitution?" He asked.

"No, I was waiting for you. Something this significant should be done by you." Dobby informed him.

"Hmm, let's do it tomorrow. What about the Uchiha clan?"

*Sigh*

Dobby sighed and relaxed back, "What can I say except that their clan head is a power-hungry cruel man. I received reports that he wants the next Hokage to be from his clan. But, now because you are here and you are an immortal being. He thought of creating a civil war and dividing Konoha in two and setting up a new village."

"And what gives him confidence?" Alexander asked.

"Well, he's been trying to get close to Shisui and Obito for a while now. He even put little Itachi in a powerful Genjutsu to give him trauma to wake up his Mangekyo.

"In the end, Itachi did awaken Mangekyo but also nearly killed his father in anger," Dobby told him.

Alexander got angry, "Who does he think he is? I will punish him for child abuse soon. Itachi is just a child. And please tell me you helped Itachi."

"Yes, I did. After this event, Shisui and Obito got very angry at Fugaku and left the Clan's district with Itachi. They now live in your house." Dobby answered.

"So, Fugaku's plan backfired. He probably thinks that all Uchiha are like him. Cruel and overly ambitious." Alexander commented.

Alexander got up and started to leave, "Okay, let's crash at Senju's home for lunch before doing other things,"

Alexander and Dobby walked out of the office. But then Alexander saw a kid following them in an Anbu mask.

"What's his deal?" Alexander asked.

Dobby looked back, "Ah, Yamato, you can take off that mask. Boss, this kid is Tenzo, though that was a codename. He chose the name Yamato now.

"He was one of the experiments of Orochimaru. As a child, the boy was abducted by Orochimaru and became one of sixty children that were his test subjects. They were injected with First Hokage's DNA in the hopes that they could replicate First's ability to use Wood Release.

"Orochimaru later abandoned the experiment, believing that none of them had survived. In actuality, this boy was the lone survivor and found himself endowed with an unquantified Wood Release. Later he was found by Danzo and was made a Root ninja.

"But then you punished Danzo and he joined Anbu. He's a good lad. Kakashi is his friend."

"Hmm, I am sorry I couldn't come and save you early on, child," Alexander spoke to Yamato.

Yamato shook his head and said, "It was not your fault, Lord Hokage. Those responsible for it have already been punished and are still facing punishment. I was selected for your security detail but you weren't here. Now that you are, I am back at my job."

"Hahaha, I appreciate your concern and dutifulness but I think we all can agree I don't need security. Do you have a family, kid?" Alexander politely asked.

"No, Lord Hokage, when Danzo found me I had no memories of my past," Yamato replied.

Alexander could read his emotions as clear as a sunny day. Yamato's greatest desire was to work hard for the village to make others happy and to be acknowledged by all for his efforts.

"Okay, let's do this. I am transferring you from Anbu to the Hokage secretariat. Here, you will work for me as an underling rather than my bodyguard. Also, follow me, I will take you to meet someone. That old boy would be happy to meet another person with wood release power." He announced,

Yamato was taken aback a bit, not able to understand if it was a promotion or a demotion.
